Hours are a hit or miss. No fresh fruit toppings were available and other toppings could use more of a variety. Service could be better and more welcoming; we were told they don’t offer samples at all which was shocking. We would rather go to the streets of Brentwood for yogurt even though it’s a lot farther. Definitely won’t be going back which is unfortunate since it’s so close to home.

Yogurt was really yummy! But the toppings could use a little more variety and freshness for the fruits. Always head over with my girl when I come visit her this is her place to go and then be able to enjoy the nice downtown.

Selection of flavors is mediocre. Worst part is the topping selection. No fresh fruits or chopped nuts that aren’t candied.

Is this place ever open? It’s 4:40pm on a Saturday and they are closed. It’s pretty much hit or miss whenever we have come here. The froyo is good but I rather go somewhere that I know will be open when I get there with bad froyo than have the employee stare at me through the window when they turn off the open sign…

The yogurt is pretty tasty and they have plenty of toppings to chose from. My kids love this place and always beg me to stop by here after school. The staff here is pretty friendly. I think that a family owns it and has the kids working the register. My kids love the cake flavored yogurt and coconut. Plus they’re right by the cupcake spot!

Such a waste of money… I love Foryo and what ever their serving is not it. Out of all the frozen yogurt shops I’ve been to this is the WORST… My yogurt shouldn’t be melting before I take my first bite… and there’s no variety in toppings only strawberry as fruit and there not sweet there pretty sour. My sister did order a sandwich that look pretty tasty but it was $ 6 for pretty much a home made sandwich. I wont be visiting here again.

The root beer flavor was not good at all! And the machines don’t seem very clean. There are a lot of toppings which is nice, but it seems like I’ll have to find another yogurt place :-(

Sad to say but this place has gone down hill for real… what yogurt place has only strawberries in there fruit toppings? So sad and it seems like they don’t even care. I don’t see this place lasting too much longer. It was very good when new.

Nice people, good yogurt, plenty of toppings to add. Oreo is my favorite! With vanilla, yum. I only wish they used real Oreos for the topping, not the fakes. Anyway, once I forgot my frequent visit card, but they punched it for me on our next visit. Like I said, nice people.

It makes me really sad that the one of the few(if not only) yogurt place in Pittsburg isn’t that good. The yogurt just didn’t taste as good as other places I’ve been to outside of Pittsburg. It’s SO mediocre.

Yum… best frozen yoghurt I’ve had. Actually, best«ice-cream» ever. Like to go there as a stop on a weekend bike ride with my love. Great stop, and great price. They have a very large selection of toppings and always seem to have a no sugar option. Staff is very nice and friendly. I just noticed they also so sandwiches… how convenient…

Got my first frozen yogurt here and it was a great experience! Lots of flavors to choose from, they have a rewards stamp card. Staff are friendly, had a great time during stay and would recommend it!

Co-workers have recommended this place for some time, so I decided to try it today. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and a Chinese chicken salad. The chicken salad was good, and they used breast meat, but the chunks were a little on the big side. My friend was really disappointed with the Chinese chicken salad. Not a lot of lettuce, the chicken breast was in strips, and it came with separate containers of soy sauce, oil and what tasted like thousand island dressing. She asked what it cost, and when I told her she said it wasn’t worth it. She does catering on the side, and is an accomplished chef, and by her standards this should not be called a Chinese chicken salad. The salad had lettuce, tiny strips of won ton, sesame seeds and less than half a chicken breast. The mandarin slices were canned, as they had a very tin-y taste and sour. Very disappointing. They have a good variety of frozen yogurt, non-fat and sugar free, with many topping choices. I will go back for that, and perhaps try another sandwich. I think I’m going to avoid the salads and go down the road to Togo’s.

I was so hoping to like this place at the very least, so I won’t have to drive all the way to Concord or Antioch when my daughter and/or I were craving frozen yogurt. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed about the limited selections they have(yogurt and toppings) and I think the yogurt that they do have are a bit lacking in taste. If I were in the area of Downtown Pittsburg and pregnant and in a must-have-frozen-yogurt-this-very-minute mood, then maybe(yes, just maybe) I would go back. Until then, I would take the 15-minute drive to get good fro-yo.

We came here after a day of fruit picking in Brentwood and found this place on our way back to SF. Very clean place and many flavors to choose from, 4 of us each got about 6 flavors, vanilla, chocolate, original, lime and forgot the rest but they were all very tasty, on the topping side, there were lots to choose from and we loved it! overall a great experience here and will be back next year again.

First time I went here I was actually next door at the bakery/deli buying a cupcake. The man behind the counter asked if I was a regular & I told him this was my first time but that I’d def be back if the cupcake was good. He ended up giving me the cupcake on the house! I went next door to buy a froyo & saw the same guy behind the counter. Now the froyo flavors are all non fat, they have a good variety like choc, vanilla, banana, tiramisu. & their toppings are pretty good too! They have tons of candy selection. I only wish they had mochi balls, which the guy said he has ordered. They also only have a few fresh fruit. I would totally up them to five stars if the get the mochi balls, more fresh fruit & cheesecake! Def gotta have the cheesecake!

Pirate’s Cove is in the new development of old pittsburg. no doubt pirates is a nod to the local high school a few blocks away. samples freely dispensed by cashier. her quick jerky up and down motion on the froyo machine reminded me of the slots(machines)…was waiting for the 3 cherries to ring up. it didn’t. décor: a few pirate pics, otherwise a bland wall froyo availability: –lemon juice(dairy free) pretty sweet –peach: sweet –chocolate –vanilla –kona coffee –peanut butter –pistachio: green and sweet –mango tart: mango sorbet taste with tart finish. pricing: self serve. .38 cents froyo & toppings, 2 fruit toppings(sliced strawberry, and bottled cherries, 4 crumbled cookies in trays, 40ish dry toppings of chocolates, candies, nuts, and… the usual. frodrips: –electro freeze froyo machines, corrugated cups –froyo texture creamy, smooth. flavoring on the sweet side. few tarts –ambrosia yogurt info on table. –wacky wabbit wating: provisional 3 stars, mikey’s pulling a bauer here, will not review. –serious deficiencies in fruit toppings and tart flavors.

*Flavors change weekly — Check the facebook page for an updated menu* My first visit was the day after the Fourth of July. Sadly, I did not enjoy it as much as I’d hoped. The interior was clean, but not inviting. The massive stainless fro-yo dispensers felt intimidating rather than exciting. The endless counter of toppings was impressive, but the thought of having to open and close so many penny candy jars seemed really tedious and counterproductive to my desire to complete my order quickly. I admit, my first mistake was to assume the yogurt would be in the tart-style of P*Berry or R*Mango. These bases are more in the style of ice cream-like soft serve. As such, the pistachio and raspberry varieties I tried were creamy, but so neutral that the flavors fell flat on their own. Thankfully, my second visit a couple weeks later was much tastier. I paired the vanilla fro yo with the non-dairy peach and topped them with perfectly ripe strawberries and blueberries. Success! The non-dairy peach had the tart ZING I was searching for! I’ll definitely come back to check out more of the non-dairy flavors.
