This is my dad’s favorite beer distributor and I can tell you why in four words: he only drinks Busch. That’s it. So, yeah, the prices on Busch are great here. You can even get the orange hunting cans this time of year. Point: the selection here is catering to Yinzers. If you like cheap beer from cans, you’re in. Or you can get fancy and drink dem beers from the bottle. Or riiiiilly fancy and get a keg. The friendly gentleman at the desk will remember your name if you come in a few times a year and he will make sure someone carries your beer to the car for you. He will apologize if you had to wait more than 5 minutes to get in and out the door. He will always have the local sports game on and will tell you his opinion on how much longer it’ll be before Crosby comes back. Nice dude. They will deliver for a service charge of $ 1. Smokers: According to my mom, Sinicrope also has the best prices on cigarettes, if you’re into that bad habit.

Still love the Sinicrope. I admit I’ve used the delivery service now — my car battery was dead and the idea of lugging a case of beer straight uphill was unappealing. They charge $ 1 for the delivery, plus a tip for the driver. Not bad, right? Every time I go in there, I have a friendly conversation with the guys who work there. They seem to know most of the customers, and they still get my order ready and out to my car before I’ve even paid for it. Seriously, if you’re in the area, this is the best beer distributor for standard stuff. They do have a small parking lot; just pull in, even if it looks like a mess, because the folks in front of you will leave before you do. Oh, and I finally met the owner — he kissed my hand! Gallantry and good prices on beer; what more could you want?
