Nice place but should have happy hour and free jukebox like other bars. Franny is the best.

This is the place. You want honest drinks, quirky conversation, reflection (but the quiet eternal possibility of nascent menace keeps you awake), and the ongoing parade of possibility as the denizens come & go upcountry (or is that just a memory). The old regulars all see ghosts and memories when they look down the bar. So it’s not you. Great Place!

This is your dad’s bar… but it’s easily the best of the Avalon bars. It’s non-​smoking, has pool tables and darts, the bartenders are nice and know how to make cocktails, and you can be sure the game will be on here. There is a good variety on tap and in bottles, with a full bar, too. You can also buy beer-​to-​go if the distributor across the street is closed.
