Ann’s Spa and Nails

I came to Pittsburgh from California and needed to have my nails redone. I found Ann’s on the Internet and as they were the closest to my hotel I went there. What a wonderful experience. They were accommodating, friendly and professional. The place was clean and organized. When I was indecisive about the nail color I wanted, the young woman showed me some choices. I highly recommend them. I wish they were located where I live. I would be a permanent customer.

I visited this place of business Monday with my mom and daughter. We were never offered a beverage like the other patrons were. I was offered a cash discount which seems pretty fishy. My mani/​pedi was rushed but came out fine. My 10 year old daughter had a very nice technician who took some extra time to paint a flower on each of her big toes. I feel that my mother was treated badly. No one went to do her pedicure even though she was the first on in the chair. She has swollen ankles due to age and medical conditions that prevented her from being able to roll her pants very high, in fact they got wet. The man who did my mom’s pedicure seemed disgusted with her. It was even apparent to my daughter. My mom tried to make the best of it but it is still bothering me. They let her sit in the pedi chair and you could tell by looking at her how uncomfortable she was. She only got a pedi so she could have been led to the front area to sit in the chairs in the waiting area. I got angry. I turned off the dryers on my hands and feet. I helped my mom sit up. Took out the foam thingies between her toes. Helped her down and got her socks and shoes on. I’d like my money back. I’m glad I live so far away or I’d go get it now. Never, ever again.

I’ve been in 2 times so far for a manicure and pedicure. Apple was very nice and friendly and did a good job. They will even offer something to drink like water or a soda and I even saw a bottle a wine. They give a small discount for paying cash and tips can not be put on your credit card.

Came in to get my nails filled and repaired, as I do every two weeks at another salon
As they were preparing my nails, I asked how much it would be for the field and polish, and he said with the better polish it would be $ 53, and so I said with a tip this nail job will be $ 60? And he said yes I guess it does sound like that. That’s when I walked out.
I have never paid that much for nails in my life, not even a full set, I’ve been on cruises vacations and had my nails done lots of places. Never ever have I paid $ 60.

I’ve been searching for a good nail salon for a while and happened to see this one going to Home Depot. Being the fussy one that I am, I looked up any reviews I could find and they had good ones across the board, so in I go to try them out. I know more walked in and got seated with what I wanted to get and my nails turned out great!
The staff is all friendly and fun. Prices are reasonable and they have a wide array of services available. I’m planning on getting a pedi next time I’m there. So happy to come upon this place! They have a new regular customer!
