Cadillac Ranch

I must say some of the less than four stars puzzle me. My first experience of the New York steak is very good. The pita with taco fixing was very good too. Cooked medium meant medium. Good value price wise and parking was ample. The atmosphere was bustling and noisy which is good for an informal restaurant.

I’ve been here twice now. The first time I thought the food was descent. I went back after the movies.
I sat outside on there nice patio and had a very helpful waitress.
I don’t like the taste of alcohol but I wanted some anyway so I asked the waitress what tasted good, she recommended the Passion Fruit Mojito which was delicious.
Then I tried the shrimp tacos which were really good. I also tried a special of chicken fajitas which were good.
The food here was better than I remembered and I’d like to go back and try more.
This restaurant has a cowboy theme and is large with a patio.

Decent. Patio is great. Spacious and a nice hangout spot. The boneless wings were $ 5 and Cadillac style was like a honey sirrachah. The pecan crusted pork was a huge amount of food. The sweet potato tots lacked a little in terms of flavor and made for an interesting pairing with the pecan crusting… kind of like sweet potatoes pie you’d have for thanksgiving… maybe too rich of a sweet dish for dinner. Fiancé had the sirloin steak… cooked how he ordered it… nice peppery flavor, broccoli was cooked well… mashed potatoes were ok. Would go again!

I should have listened to the other reviewers. The food was not very good for the price. I have had better food at McDonald’s. Music too loud, service was less than desirable, and food was gross.

The food here is really good…
HOWEVER, it does not overcome the fact that the service is awful!!! When I say awful, it is hands down the WORST service that I have ever received in any service industry establishment. I travel all over the US for months at a time and this is the slowest and poorest service I have ever received!
And to top it off the bartender who my wife and I once did receive decent service from, I tipped him $ 50 and the next time we came In, he was too busy flirting with a girl that was sitting at the bar and asked a server to come wait on us instead. It’s a shame that with such great food, that it takes hours to get your food and it takes hours to get a drink because the bartender Is too busy fitting with the women at the bar! Hopefully the cooks leave and start a new restaurant and leave all the servers and bartenders behind.

Update… manager reached out to me about my experience. I admire the business for wanting to be better and inviting me in again. I will def. Be back to do another review on service but thank you for reaching out.
Just left… 1^st night out after 6 months because I had a baby. Me and my husband just wanted to have a drink at a bar … Cadillac ranch seemed to be the best choice. The 1^st bar was full so we sat on the side bar… NOT GREETED FOR 8 MINUTES.. heard the couple next to us ask the bartender to take their order… «I’m not a bar tender». … sat and still waited. NOTHING. … come on –try!!! … such a waste on 20 min. we are now taking our dinner and drinks down the road. …. Don’t go.

Nothing ever goes wrong when I come here. I come here about 2 or 3 times a year. The ribeye is fantastic and so are the appitizers. I’ve never had an issue with the service either.

Walked in to a hostess on the phone for so long I eventually just sat down in the bar at a high top. Waited 10 mins and literally no one came to take an order. Left. Why I thought it would be any different than every other time is beyond me. DONE. Worst service ever.

If you like salad at all you HAVE to try the two apples spinach salad with steak. OMG. So. Good. It would almost be worth the drive back from KY just to have it again… the nachos are delicious too!

We just got out of work and needed a quick bite to eat before grocery shopping and boy are we glad we came here, we sat at the back bar and we were instantly greeted by Patrick our bartender. Great service super knowledgeable and super friendly! Served us some amazing tacos from the happy hour menu and gave us a wonderful description of dessert, because of this guy we are coming back.
My fiancé and I out in the restaurant hospitality industry and this guy made our experience wonderful.

An excellent experience here last night! I love the atmosphere and the staff is friendly. We were seated right away (it was around 9) and got drinks promptly. We ordered loaded fries for an app, they were ok. Could’ve been cheesier but they were crispy and tasty. I always take forever to figure out what I want to eat and the waitress was very patient with me which I appreciate lol. I got blackened tilapia with smashed redskin potatoes and balsamic drizzle — SO GOOD. My boo got fish tacos which were tiny but meant to be a smaller plate– he said they were delicious as well. The server was so accommodating (I always have a billion leftovers) she gave us boxes and to go cups for our drinks (this is a huge thing for me I dunno why) and got the check for us right when we were ready to go. Awesome meal and I’ll be back for sure !

Big BBQ burger was very good. Fries not that hot, but beats piping hot mouth burn. Ranch was very good!
Very reasonable prices and wine only $ 6 a glass.
Alex male server very attentive and guy who brought food was very upbeat and energetic. Great service!
4 stars bc of dirty app. Plate. Hey it happens. I didn’t even mention it. Just didn’t use it.
Been here for drinks before on a Friday night late. More bar scene.
6 and 7 pm. On a Saturday night this time and very family friendly :)

Everything about this place screams mediocrity.
The biggest knock, is that it is a bit overpriced. The biggest upside, is that the staff is always friendly. If you come here, prepare yourself for a typical Chain experience.

This place sucked. I got the lemon chicken, which tasted like grilled chicken soaked in oil, because that’s exactly what it looked like: Chicken bathing in a layer of grease. No lemon flavor, what so ever. I was still able to eat is because 1) I avoid wasting animal products for the sake of the animal 2) I can dab the oil off. My friend got this steak that was bunt to a crisp. He didn’t even eat it. The server didn’t even ask how everything was or what was wrong with it. When your customer orders something and doesn’t put a dent in it and doesn’t want to wrap it up, something’s probably wrong and it would be in the server’s best interest to ask. Nope. Either he didn’t give a hoot and/​or he’s dumb.
«Eek! Me thinks not» may be a little too harsh… but I can say in full confidence that I will not be returning.

I’ve been to this location a few times and to another several times. Most items are at least average, but nothing is really great, except for maybe the Cadillac Ranch Kettle Chips app, which I LOVE! The burgers are pretty good as well, but not my first choice for a burger with so many other great options in the Burgh.
Yesterday, I tried the Asian Chicken Salad, which was pretty lackluster. It has soggy lettuce and flavorless dressing. The only flavor was imparted by the limited Szechwan peanut sauce and the only enjoyable texture came from the crispy wonton strips. I was going to get the Pittsburgh Steak Salad, but it was a bit too pricey in a land where you can get the same thing at nearly any pizza joint and be at least confident that it will be OK for half the price. The lady got a side of sweet potato tots, which sounded like they were going to be awesome, but they were not crunchy enough and very mushy inside.
Overall, I would say there are some safe bets here, but there are items that will leave you disappointed.

I am so glad I didn’t listen to some people who posted bad reviews. Last night I visited CR and loved it. We sat outside in the courtyard area on a beautiful Saturday night. We both had the filet and it was great. The service was also pretty timely.
If I had to complain about anything, it would be the garlic sauce on the filet. It was just a little much and my steak was cooked medium instead of rare. On most steaks medium would be a problem, but with the tenderness of the filet, it was nothing at all.
Great place! I’ll be back!

The food was just terrible. Ranch macaroni was inedible and I had the fish tacos. They were so small I thought it was appetizer. Beer was fine but $ 35 for our dinner with 2 drinks and small portions was worthless

Nothing great about this place. Typical suburban bar and restaurant. I was actually attacked inside of this establishment about two years ago.

We decided to eat an early dinner at The Cadillac Ranch on a Saturday. Our raised booth allowed us to see across the dinning area and bar which are nicely decorated. However, the divider was dusty and a dip tin was left from whomever previously been sitting there. And I was not happy about hearing the entire conversation of our neighbors despite my efforts to focus. The architect/​designer probably should consider adding taller dividers.
Our server was capable. Not particularly friendly but we had no true issues.
As for the food, I ordered a side salad which was large. While nothing special, it was good. Unfortunately, the tomatoes were off tasting and I had to eat around them. For an entre I ordered the meatloaf. If not for the thin barbacue sauce, the meat would have been flavorless. Meanwhile, the broccoli was cooked well (no one likes rubbery veggies) and the whipped mashed potatoes were delicious but could have been warmer.
We would probably try other places before returning, but I would not say no to giving them and another dish a second chance.

Very mediocre and extremely rude service! Waitress only came over to our table to take our orders, and once after that to refill our drinks and to check how our entrees were. When we ordered drinks prior to the meal, my friend who is 21 ordered a beer while I ordered a water since I’m under 21, when we did this she rudely informed us that she couldn’t serve him alcohol because I was under 21 and she said it was «dram shop» law. She stated that we needed to google the law, which we did and it stated that bars are not allowed to serve alcohol to customers who appear intoxicated. When she brought us the check right after the meal she did not even thank us. I also heard other tables surrounding us complaining about how rude she was.
As for the food, it was decent and large portions but still not worth it for the price. Ambience was nice as we sat out on the patio, but still don’t think I’ll go back!
