Really need coffee house with Wi-Fi. Very popular in this part of Pittsburgh. Great service and moderately priced. More importantly, great coffee!

This Crazy Mocha location(801 Liberty Ave) is one of my favorites. We go way back, to my dancing days when I’d hit this spot in between shows at the Benedum. I only ever get one drink from Crazy Mocha ~ spiced chai latte with almond milk and a tiny shot of espresso ~ and of the locations I’ve been to, this spot always seems to make it the tastiest. Maybe not the hottest, but definitely the tastiest. Which is perfect if you ask me. This location has a great, quiet area in the back for small meetings or just relaxing. It stays open the latest of all the downtown CMs, with a closing time of 8pm. Bring your own mug for a discount on your joe!

I always loved this place… would go out of my way to find a CM over a Starbucks… support local businesses and that whole deal. The coffee is good and the food isn’t bad either. They’ve got a «version of a frappacino» that’s awesome… however, it only comes in one small size. Their chip chopped coffees come in what is the equivalent of a small Starbucks frap. They used to do an up-charge and give me a slightly larger size… I went in every morning for almost two years and got the same thing. Now, they are no longer able to give me the«slightly larger» chip chop coffee. «I don’t know what employee was doing that for you, but he shouldn’t have… I’ll be needing his name please.» Gfy. He’s the only person there that a) doesn’t have a crap attitude, b) actually cares about my «satisfaction», and c) made an effort to make me happy. Yea, what a total piece of shit employee, you should definitely fire him. They’ve got a limited menu with limited options, and an even more limited inclination to make sure customers return. «If you don’t like it, too bad.» So I went to Starbucks and got exactly what I wanted… a large frap. Shooting for the stars here, eh? Sorry CM, I once was a devout, anti-starbucks customer. You disappointed me.

I have always lived Crazy Mocha. I work downtown and really do not like Starbucks(there’s one in my building) because they burn their beans. I bring my own coffee to work but sometimes buy it. After 6 months at this job it FINALLY registered in my brain that I can just walk a few blocks over to Crazy Mocha and get better coffee. The staff is friendly. It’s actually the same guy every time I go there and there’s something about seeing a familiar face that I like. However, I need to point something out and hopefully Crazy Mocha sees this. Today marks the FIFTH time I’ve gotten a coffee there where the cup slowly leaks from the bottom. It takes me sometimes 20 minutes to notice. My coffee cools down and when I finally pick it up, there’s a small puddle. Also, the sleeves don’t do a great job at keeping the cup cool to the touch. Eventually my fingers start to burn and I find myself constantly switching hands, which caused me to drop the cup in the elevator one time. They’re really just a thin piece of cardboard, where other sleeves usually have two layers of cardboard with a space in the middle for the air to cool. Poor design decisions here at Crazy Mocha. Crazy Mocha, y u no has good cups?! I just want to enjoy your coffee!

I work downtown so I come here quite often for a caffeine fix. It’s only two blocks away from my office, so the location is fantastic! I’ve been a big fan of Crazy Mocha since college. I’d much rather give them my money than Starbucks. I’m actually not a coffee drinker, so I can’t speak to their coffee. I usually get a chai or ice tea. Both of which are good. Some people in other reviews are saying the chais are too sweet, but they actually have a few other flavors. They have a spiced one. They usually don’t ask you what flavor you want though so you’ll have to specify. The staff is really great. They’ll always take the time to talk to you. I also like that it doesn’t have the herding cattle feel I get from going to starbucks. It’s also a cool place to have casual meetings. I’ve met a number of different vendors here for my job since my office isn’t the most conducive to guests. If you’re looking for coffee downtown, shop local and go to Crazy Mocha!

This place sucks ass. coffee is sour even with a shot of espresso. I ordered a hummus cup with vegetables, the bell pepper and celery were freeze dried. GETITTOGETHERCRAZYMOCHA!

I’m a big fan of Crazy Mocha, and I’m glad Pittsburgh has such a nice chain of coffee shops that’s not Starbucks. I also have a fondness of that Strange Goat Mascot. as a non-coffee drinker they have such a great variety of drinks that I can enjoy(Italian soda water with so many flavor options, great hot cocoa, Smoothies) and it’s pretty affordable as well. Their biscotti selection is HUGE and tasty and they have a nice selection of quick grab and go sandwiches. There’s ample spots to sit and there’s brochures of so many events around Pittsburgh. It’s located in front of many Bus stops and the Wood street T station, so very convenient. So far I’ve been to the Station Square location, Squirrel hill location, this one and the Market Square spot. This one is my personal favorite.

Crazy Mocha has consistently delivered good customer service & delicious coffee drinks. It’s the only place where I am excited to see &/or try the ‘coffee of the day.’ I go here every morning for a small cup & some before-work relaxation. The place is so zen.

Someone bring me Crazy Mocha, Meow!!! =^_^= Ohhhh… I wished I was here everyday for my hot beverage runs but i was spoiled with an upscale Starbucks located right inside my hotel… sighhh… I’ve seen crazy mocha a few times… and every time i wonder why it everywhere in Pittsburgh… found out that this is one of their chain coffee shops… basically its like their Starbucks… iv gotten really good service here and the food was reasonable… And yes they are open till midnight! They serve everything a everyday coffee shop would serve and maybe more… from breakfast to the simplest desserts… Oh and they have a great amount of sofa seats and tables. where you can enjoy your beverage and chill out at the same time! area is pretty clean! enjoy!

I have been beating myself up since coming here today. Why haven’t I been to Crazy Mocha until now? All those times I resorted to Starbucks and Coffee Tree… and I could have just gone here. The drink I ordered was around $ 4.50. A little too pricey for me. While I cannot remember the name all I remember was that it was an iced coffee with hints of chocolate. It was really great, and I had to stop myself from drinking too fast because I wanted to enjoy it more. I will definitely be getting this again… once I remember what it is called. Another thing I noticed was that when I have frappuccinos from Starbucks, I usually crash three hours later, and my heart beats super fast. It’s like my heart is getting anxious but I’m not actually anxious, you know? Anyway, it’s been about three hours after I had this drink, and I should be crashing, but I’m not. I’m still alert. Way to go Crazy Mocha for making me a drink that has coffee and doesn’t actually give me weird physical effects.

Pretty decent coffee and sandwiches for a small place with no table service. This area around the Sheraton Hotel is sort of low on lunch offerings, so this was a good option, especially when Houlihan’s threatens to reel you in!

It is a standard coffee shop with fun wimsy. High ceiling, open, big windows with a lot of daylight, exposed brick wall. The basic drip coffee tastes fresh and delicious. They have mugs. Free wifi. Bathrooms. Boom. P. S. Some of the patrons are homeless and just chill around the store. The employees look a little worse for wear. Coffee refills are $ 1.50 for mug.

Crazy Mocha is Pittsburgh’s yinzer Starbucks alternative. The coffee is solid, the pastries and baked goods are usually a day old, and the interior is utilitarian at best. That said, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable — which makes it a great coffee pickup spot. The free wifi is a great plus for when I have to work at the shop for an hour or two, but it doesn’t give off the vibe that I should ever make myself too comfortable.

I’ve been to this Crazy Mocha location a few times and have always enjoyed their coffee. It’s nice to have a premium-feeling alternative to Starbucks in the area.

I frequently visited this crazy mocha. I like the space inside, which is very minimalistic. Lots of space and free wifi makes the perfect place to read something and enjoy your coffee. However, the quality of coffee here is really inconsistent and lately I have not enjoyed one of them. They tasted burned, bland, absolutely bitter. Anything but good. The last 2 times I have left this place after taking the first sip. The coffee is cheap, but that doesn’t make up for it. I am sorry to say that I won’t return here as there are too many other options that offer consistent nice coffee.

Although the espresso machine was being fixed, it was well worth the wait. The biscotti are incredible, especially the coconut lemon macadamia nut. The barista was very friendly and went out of her way to help as we waited for our espresso drinks.

A nice, small little café inside the One building near Point State Park. There offer some pastry options and other typical packaged cookies. The service here was great. Was looking to try a new flavor for an Italian soda syrup, and the gal even offered a sample to try before ordering. They also have almond milk as an option which was great for my friend who doesn’t drink soy or cow milk.

The Americano was limp. Wish I had gone someplace else. The tables were dirty and service was slow. Hate to give a bad review, but I was not impressed.

The coffee here is bad. I was so underwhelmed with Crazy Mocha. I have only been here once and that was enough for me. With 21st Coffee and Tea only blocks away… I make the choice to just avoid this place. The coffee tastes burnt and I am not going to frequent a place for frozen beverages if they can’t make a simple cup of coffee tasty. Crazy Mocha is so not worth my while.
