I can’t give this little mousehole of a place(next to another little mousehole of a place) more than 3 stars. Like CC’s next door, it’s very quaint, but I was expecting homemade candy or something, especially considering that it’s located in Mt. Lebanon. Instead they just offer candy bars, penny candy, chips, and other such food items you’d find at any convenience store with a lovely, well-dressed middle-aged woman meticulously minding the store as if it were a Godiva franchise. How they make any money around here, I just don’t know. Maybe someone’s just keeping it in the family for sentimental reasons? However, I’m sure there’s a few underpaid people who work in Mt. Lebanon who appreciate that they can still get a Sky Bar for under a buck, which is what I got. Dad ate half of it without asking if he could have some. «Man, I remember these when I was a kid. You mean you never had one? I never see ‘em anymore.» He says that each and every time I buy him a Sky Bar, and he used to buy them for me when I was a but a lad. They are pretty nifty… And so is my pain-in-the-temples father. He was a good sport today.
