A very uncomplicated system. You bring your dirty clothes, you clean them, you leave. However, Laundry Factory makes it an experience. Eclectic lighting, music playing in the background, places to sit and wait, friendly staff? You’ve got a customer for life, friend-​migos.

Machines are dirty. Ruined my pants and then they wanted me to pay to have it dry cleaned. Scam. They charge too much, most machines have a moldy smell and the driers apparently might have ChapStick in them according to people that work there. Don’t expect any help when things get ruined. Again avoid this scamming place.

My experience at this laundromat definitely had room for improvement.

I interacted with staff to get help with a machine that wasn’t working. While this staff member was helping me, a coworker came up, interrupted me, and pulled the staff member away. I waited for the staff member to return but she never did. I had to go up to the register again to be told I would just have to use a different machine. Not a big deal to move my laundry, but I the tone of the encounter was dismissive and rude. I’ll be finding a different place to do laundry.

I got white paint on my suit after the dry clean. They should be careful about what they are doing.

We have a king bed comforter that needed to be laundered and is far too big for our washer! Went to the Laundry Factory based on Unilocal reviews. A super clean facility! All of the washers and the dryers are well maintained! I was extremely impressed!

I gave them a white blazer/​jacket for a dry clean and it came back gray. Enough said.

I sent my jacket to dry clean three weeks ago and never saw it again. I think they lost my jacket. They just keep finding excuses and trying not to be responsible for it. No one knows when it will be ready and no one knows where it is now. Everyone keeps saying «I don’t know anything, but the person who knows everything is not here, please come/​call later.» So disappointed!

When living in a hospital, options for laundry can be limited. The thought of a coin operated laundromat can send shivers down my spine. Laundry Factory was suggested to us by a nurse who lives close by and it has been a life saver!
With convenient drop off and pick up service, I don’t have to worry about leaving my wife alone in the hospital to sit and wait from some lumbering behemoth of a dryer to finally dry my clothes. I simply stop in, let them know my detergent and softener preferences and leave as they get to work on my things. The staff is friendly and helpful to new comers and explained the process (really simple actually) to alleviate any confusion. The facilities looked clean and the washers and dryers looked like new.
I would highly recommend this establishment. If you’re in the area looking to do your laundry, or better yet have someone do it for you, this is the place. I could not be happier with my results for what I think is a very reasonable price.

Clean and spacious. Someone is always cleaning/​vacuuming when I’m here, and the staff are always friendly (one lady just stopped me from splitting my load in two, and showed me I could fit it all in the 80lb washer, thus saving me a few bucks!) Plenty of seating, free wifi, free parking, a tv that actually works and candy machines. Most importantly a few of the washers take card which is a godsend– it sucks to have to have to pay an ATM fee just to get change. Also check out the Asian market next door, they have a few unusual items to look at, like Hello Kitty water. Just be aware you have to get a bit… assertive when parking as there’s limited spaces. Love this place :)

I like this place. Its one of the closest dry cleaners to my place. I have taken numerous dress shirts, silk blouses, even stained ties.
Their service for silk shirts and dress shirts is pretty good. They tend to have the clothes when they say they will and very often they will ask you would prefer to pick up.
The customer service has been pretty good, although it seems that they got a new register and they have been having difficulties with it because it takes them forever to run my card.
In terms of ties they are pretty good, but I have returned home with the original stain in a tie. I have brought it back and they have retreated the tie for no charge, although they were not able to remove the stain (insert sad face here). Anyway, overall this is a pretty good neighborhood dry cleaner, they treat your stuff with care an my husbands shirts come out clean and lightly startched as I have requested them.

Cool place, really nice attendants. Tons of washers and dryers with a good variety of sizes. Dryers reset if you let the time run out and you have to pay the initial 50¢ again, instead of 25¢ and you only get 4 minutes for that quarter. Parking is kind of a nightmare and there’s only one entrance/​exit, but only room for one car to go through at a time. I probably won’t be back.

This review is just about the dry cleaning: I was horrified!!! Maybe I got lucky living in LA having access to some incredible dry cleaning at incredible prices. I was stunned to pick up my 7 garments, paying $ 100 for the bill, and then going home to find cat hair and terrible ironing on my clothes. I was seriously shocked. I’m not a fan of Footer’s either, but this was just so expensive it felt worse than a bad job for at least less $$.

I’ve put off reviewing this place for months now, which is unacceptable because I come here every weekend against my will (dirty clothing is a great motivator). Laundry Factory is located along Ellsworth Avenue next to Pitt’s Dogg’n It and Tokyo Japanese Food Store. Your first impression of this place might range from «This place is clean» to «There are a lot of machines here» to «I can use my credit card to start the washer/​dryer?» to «TVs?! Yes, please.» Your impressions are all on point. Indeed, this laundromat is one of the cleanest I’ve been to. Yes, there are many machines here! Even during the busiest laundry times (the weekends), you should be able to find a machine or two that are free. Some of the larger machines accept debit/​credit cards. A word of caution: for the dryers, each time you add quarters or swipe to add extra time, you will need to press «Start» or else you will lose your money. The laundromat recently attached warning labels to each applicable machine. There are two television sets, so don’t worry about missing that Penguins/​Steelers/​Pirates game, because there is a good chance those televisions are tuned in to those games.
There is an ATM machine next to the front desk in case you are short on quarters, and the employees will gladly break your $ 20 bills into smaller ones. There are change machines next to the ATM machine and along the window facing Ellsworth Avenue. I counted 5 – 6 folding stations, which means you might have to wait or share them during the busiest laundry times.
Oh, and feel free to bring your tablet or laptop because the facility has free WiFi, which is password-​protected, but you can ask any employee for it.
I didn’t give the facility 5 stars because: 1, the place can get a little chaotic and very hard to navigate during its busy times, and 2, the overall cost can really add up, especially if you have lots of clothes (I don’t know about what others think… perhaps I’m used to the super-​cheap-​economy pricing? Haha…).

This is the closest experience to doing laundry at home as I can get. There are a ton of washers and dryers of all sizes, (coin op so bring cash or use the ATM on location) AND a parking lot! Between 7am and 3pm the staff will give you a dollar in quarters for drying for free! You have to ask for it though. I say this is the closest thing to doing laundry at home for two reasons: free cable and byob! There are two flat screen televisions with remotes for customers to use. Free wifi and plenty of outlets for internet surfers. A bonus is the bottle shop right next door that sells snacks, drinks, and six-​packs. You can even drink the beer in the laundry factory! There are two laundromats in my neighborhood but I drive 15 mins for this one because of the «perks».

Oh, laundromats. How you take me back to my days in college and grad school. Though I’ve been fortunate to have in-​home laundry capabilities everywhere I’ve lived over the last several years, recently I found myself in need of professional (laundry) help when my dog puked all over our comforter and mattress pad (thanks again for that, little buddy). Our washer was too small to do the job, so off I went to the Laundry Factory.
Like I said, it’s been awhile since I’ve been to a laundromat, so I don’t know what other laundromats are like these days, but wow, this one was wayyyy nicer than the ones I used to go to back in the day! It was modern, clean, bright, and had tons of well-​kept machines. No dank corners where sketchy people loitered, no broken machines, no weird funky old sneaker smells.
They had several sizes of machines to choose from, ranging from average (a regular household laundry machine) to mega-​capacity. I chose the «large load» machine, which fit our comforter and mattress pad just fine. A load in the large capacity machine cost $ 6.00, which seemed a little steep, but not too bad. Other machines ranged in price from $ 2.75 to $ 10.00 (super mega capacity machine). They also have super capacity (50 lb.) dryers, which was very handy. It was $.50 for the first 5 minutes of drying time, and then $.25 for every 4 minutes after that. Again, seemed a little steep, but the dryers were very efficient — I think it took only about 15 minutes (on low heat, no less) to dry my bulky items.
They had well-​stocked change machines and a nice little lounge to wait in. I didn’t see any bathrooms, so good thing I refrained from going to the beer store next door to have a cold one while I waited.
They do have a parking lot, but it’s really small and packed, so you’ll probably only get a spot if you’re lucky. So plan to either park on the street or behind the building (I found plenty of space behind the building and wasn’t ticketed or towed).
Anyhow, next time I need to use a large capacity washing machine (which I hope is NEVER — hint hint, my little doggie friend), I will not hesitate to come back here.

Wow, what a great place. Being use to the laundromat on S. Highland and on Liberty Ave. in Bloomfield, this place is a large step up from those. I needed to wash my comforter and decided to stop in here, and I’m glad that I did. The staff were very assertive and nice, and were willing to help in any way. The facility is really nice, with a colorful industrial feel to it. Further, there are two flat screen TVs, a station for computers (with free Wifi), and even a massage chair for waiting patrons! Though I hate paying so much for doing laundry (though it’s probably not significantly more expensive than places down the road), I had a very good experience here.

Its time to show LA la laundry factory a little love with an update because they have recently expanded. Into the rest of the building where Brasserie 23? Or was it 22 used to be. Now they have expanded spaces larger machines freedom! To do your own dance routine while your stinky socks swish to the beat in a sea of suds.
Ok ok I know I am getting excited over something everyone hates doing, but laundry factory makes it more enjoyable. Great diversity of people watching opportunities here. There is still no bathroom but one of the laundry mistresses told me they would be getting one soon. They have drinks up front tons of change machines and some sort of card that two of the larger machines and driers take. I am not sure if you need to purchase the card to use it but seems like a laundry card you put money on. If dirty quarters drive you nuts. Great idea.
The price is still cheaper for me than anyone else if I use large capacity washers. The beer shop… its still awesome and its still next door. Still have free wifi and tv.
I have never tried their drop off or dry cleaning service so I cannot review that. Just the kickass atmosphere and that I’ve met some pretty cool people here customers and workers alike.

I came here for the Wash and Fold service, where you can drop off your laundry and pick it up the next day — washed and folded for you. The convenience factor is greatly appreciated, but I will not be returning to use their services. Although, I believe that every staff member that I interacted with here are very polite and courteous people.
It costs about $ 1.15/lb approximately, and you must have at least 10lbs of laundry, excluding comforters and blankets. They do not weigh your laundry in front of you, so you have to trust that they are weighing only your laundry, and that their measuring system for weighing your laundry is not faulty.
That being said, I was charged $ 37 for about 33lbs of laundry, which isn’t my gripe with this place — I really dislike doing laundry. My gripe is that when I came home to unpack all my clothes, they distinctively smelled like men’s cologne. It’s really disgusting.
I suspect one of two things: either the washer/​dryer the attendant was using was NOT clean, or a heavily cologned man decided to roll himself all over my laundry when it came out of the dryer…
