Pizza is yummy but their nachos are not! Their pizza is a refreshing change from the greasy kind people usually eat on the weekends. It tastes«cleaner»(not loaded on grease and without ten pounds of processed cheese on it) and the ingredients are definitely fresh. Although expensive, it is worth it. However I would recommend to skip out on their nachos. They are just regular corn chips with a little bit of mozzarella and chopped onions on top. They are supposed to come with tomatoes on top(they don’t come with jalepenoes or meat for some reason, which is a shame because they can really use them!) and sour cream and salsa on the side, ours did not and we had to ask for it. The waitress only brought back a small portion of their homemade salsa instead of the three things we asked for(sigh). The salsa honestly was horrible. It was bassically chopped onions drenched in lime juice. Seriously, that was all you could taste from it — very strong onion and lime. Nothing else. We gave it a few tries and no one at the table could stomach it, so we ate the nachos without it. They could really benefit from better salsa(one made with actual peppers and whatnot, and no lime juice!), jalepenoes and meat on top for more flavor, and cheese that actually belongs on nachos. Next time we’ll just stick with their delicious pizza, and we’ll go to the Ninety Nine for our nacho fix.

We had an excellent wood fired pizza last night. Having arrived close to closing we weren’t sure they would make s pizza but they did. Yummy. Very nice atmosphere and the waitress and waiters where very nice and efficient. Five stars!

Was trying to make it to the Great Barrington location but accidentally ended up at this one and was not disappointed. Once again Baba Louie’s came through. Their GF pies are incredible; they managed to provide a doughy, soft pie crust that’s as close to a regular pizza as I’ve ever had. Staff was kind and attentive. The ambiance was rustic and tasteful, nice and quiet. All around a great experience. Especially if you’re GF, do yourself a favor and enjoy a hard cider and a craft pie, you won’t be disappointed. Cheers

Everything I’ve had from here so far was really weird and extremely greasy. I’m almost 300 lbs, and I thought the pasta I got from here was so drenched in oil it was gross. They’re also really excited about heretical pizza toppings, and they’re too egotistical to have salt and pepper shakers. It seems like the chefs at Baba Louie’s are more interested in making their food unique and expensive than they are in assuring it’s reasonably edible. Great place to go if you’re a hipster out-of-towner with more money than sense who wants to Instagram your plate before you throw it away.

We went there on 10⁄24 at about 6PM. The entrance way was crowded with people Waiting. We were told there is a 30 minute wait. We decided to go in and check seating At the bar. We were shocked to see 10 – 15 empty tables in the dining room. We asked The hostess why there was a 30 minute wait with so many empty tables. She could not give a valid reason. Bad management. Very good food! Their ever changing menu is fantastic! I do wish they would have some of their dishes more often, as I tried a pesto basil linguine that I have not seen in over a year. Their Caesar salad is also very good! I highly recommend!

GREAT pie — sauce is top shelf and crust was elite — I had tempered expectations being from new haven, CT area(best pie in world) — this place rocked — margherita with shrooms… top shelf

Dolce Vita and Isabella Pizzarella are my dream pizzas(the Isabella, which has roasted root vegetables and shaved fennel, is especially nice on a crisp fall day). Recently I got the puttanesca pizza with prosciutto in place of anchovies and that was an A+ decision.

Best GF pizza ever– service was by far the best in the Berkshires! I got the BBQ Chicken GF Pizza and Caesar salad. Was with a party of 7 and we ordered 3 large pizzas and 2 small salads– was the perfect amount. Great family style restaurant!

BBQ chicken pizza is amazing as well as the dolce vita(no prosciutto). Spelt crust is my favorite. A really good place to go if you want great unique pizza and to support a local business. A regular occurrence for me. Highly recommended.

The best gluten free pizza I have ever had! I have searched far and wide and who would have thought I would have found one in my former home town!!! We ordered the Margarita with fresh mozzarella A great homemade tomato sauce fresh basil, we added caramelized onions and chicken to make it a complete meal. It was delicious!!! My husband who isn’t gluten-free ate half the pie and absolutely loved! You couldn’t tell it was gluten-free if you didn’t know. It was crunchy, tasty and Best of all it wasn’t soggy or grainy

Good pizza ! We loved it but others might not appreciate the effort of the chefs. You still can get a Pomodoro pie for those traditionalist types. We had a half prosciutto and fig and other half was parsnip, fennel sweet potato. Both halves were very good, flavors all worked for us. Crust was thin and crispy. Good beers on tap.

Three stars for food. Four stars for service. One star for prices and value. $ 19 for a family size Caesar salad which was simply romaine(not hearts) with basic dressing and croutons. For $ 19 it should have been more plentiful!!! Pizzas were good but again, they have to be kidding about value. $ 13 for a personal size pizza, gluten free or otherwise, is just simply over-priced! Worth a try but not sure about a return trip.

Baba Louie’s is by far the best fast and healthy dining option in Pittsfield. At an affordable price, this location has large windows in the dining room overlooking Depot St., where, at times, you can catch an amazing sunset. I really like the casual ambience, and eating here makes any meal worthwhile.

Holy vegan accommodations, this place was so fantastically easy for us. Vegan carrot coconut soup with amazing. They have daiya cheese for make your own pizzas. Crust I believe is sour dough which is different. And they’re very gluten-allergy friendly, too! They had a vegan dessert as well(which was also GF) and just ok but awesome that they had it! Maybe we came on a good night cause our server was SO friendly and nice. Their vegan pizza on the menu has chevre/goat cheese on it, which is super random. I would recommend not offering that on the pizza in case someone accidentally orders it and sends it back!

I normally hate — HATE — upscale pizzerias, but I was pleasantly surprised by this place. We were shocked at having to wait for twenty minutes on a weeknight, but it was worth it. Two of us split a 14-inch pizza, and there was easily another meal leftover. Ours was topped with ricotta, tomatoes, pesto, and eggplant, which was perfectly charred. The crust was a bit tough for my liking, but at least it wasn’t soggy. Service was not super speedy, but out server was friendly and cheerful. Overall, a more than decent experience. A warning though — pee before you go. The women’s bathroom is so small you have to practically climb in the toilet to get the stall door shut.

This was the fourth time that myself and my girlfriend have gone here. This time we attempted to try some takeout so we could spend the evening at home. The first 3 times were by no means an exceptional dining experience. I understand they serve pizza, but there is some level of professionalism that must be taken when dealing with people. This last experience will by far cancel any future plans of returning. We called in our food and were told it would be roughly a half hour. No problem at all. We arrived, only to have to stand around and wait for 10 minutes before we were greeted. We paid for our food and were told it could be another 20 minutes because the kitchen is backed up. Which was told to us after not even checking our food, but just clicking a few things on her screen. Ok, well I can be patient, so we went and ran a few errands and returned. We grabbed our food and headed home. which isn’t but 3 minutes down the street. To finalize this«wonderful» experience. Our pizza was now completely cold. This had literally come out to the counter the second we walked out the door to go run our errands. We not only had to re-heat the whole pizza, but had to chill the salad we ordered. To summarize… we will not be returning. Very very disappointing with an establishment that takes so much pride in what they do.

I forgot to write this review, so I don’t have a lot of detail to add. I remember loving my specialty drink(hot cocoa with alcohol), and I enjoyed the huge bruschetta salad I shared with my aunt. Of the four of us eating, I was the only one who disliked my meal. Couldn’t eat it. Although it(some kind of pasta dinner) sounds bad, it was something new that I wanted to try, out of my comfort zone. Did not like. I don’t remember anything else about liking or disliking anything, and I get a kick out of the name. I would definitely go there again, but I probably would not be quite so adventurous.

Wonderful ambiance, pleasant service, large portions, delicious food. Abundant salad; the small was enough for 4 people. We ordered a small Puttanesca pizza, a small Coles Creation pizza and a large Margherita pizza. This was perfect for 5 hungry people. All of the pies were tasty. The puttanesca was a little salty, but with the list of ingredients including anchovies and olives that was to be expected. Service was a little slow but that was ok for us. A great meal at a great restaurant.

My friend and I had a wonderful experience here for dinner on a Saturday night. We had a concert call at 7:30pm and needed time to get dressed, so we arrived at 5:30pm. There were patrons flowing into the parking lot and front door, so she dropped me off before she parked so I could get in line. We were seated promptly, and I noticed the restaurant was already at least half full if not more. By the time we left at 6:30pm there was a HUGE crowd waiting outside for a table. Take note. Our server was kind and attentive. We ordered the Dawn’s Delight salad and the Melanzana pizza, both small, to share. Our food came quickly, and it disappeared quickly. The portions are HUGE(a small salad and small pizza is plenty for two to share) and our bill(which included a soda) was $ 25. You couldn’t ask for more!
