great vibe here but its not for the 50 plus crowd

Visiting town on a romantic getaway, we stopped by this little gem after finding it on Unilocal.Looking for a nice light meal and drinks, instead of a traditional sit down, entrée heavy type place; We were not disappointed! A MUST stop for anyone in Pittsfield on business, a getaway to the mountains, or even if you live nearby!
We ordered a small cheese plate, which consisted of three VERY fresh and delectable selections and a Pear and Pomegranate arugula salad. Our compliments to the chef, and a big thank you to the attentive wait staff who took perfect care of us during our brief stay!
I only wish we could be regulars, as this is worth the three hour drive just to come here! (The beautiful Berkshires are a plus too: D)

I love the atmosphere of this place. The lighting just feels right and their drinks are very good. I most enjoy sitting in the back on one of the couches, and it just feels cozy to be here. The bartender has always been wicked nice as well. I would more than definitely go here again!

I adore this spot – creative cocktails, exceptional beer selection, beautiful décor, gregarious staff, fantastic service. The menu is seasonal and delish and always has something for every dietary preference and budget. Also, bourbon. So delighted that Methusalah is part of the North Street community. It’s a vibrant hub with a great vibe!

Methuselah keeps on getting better and better. It is so exciting to have them on North Street. The active scene in an informal setting is great. I love how they go out of their way to be inventive from the drinks to the unusual food. Tonight my wife and I shared an incredible cheese plate with awesome boutique Vermont cheese. Out waitress, Jen, was friendly, helpful and efficient. It could not have been a better night.. Thank you.

I went to Methuselah for the first time a few weeks ago for drinks and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. The bartender is incredibly knowledgable and goes above and beyond to give the absolute best customer service.
My family owns an Italian restaurant and I worked at a fine dining restaurant in st Thomas. And after working in such a heavily traveled place being held to the highest of standards. Methuselah is the only place around here that I can say even compares.
And to the person who gave them
A great review with only 4 stars because their drinks were «over priced» all I have to say to that is you pay for what you get. the excellent drinks and service that they provide are well worth the 8 dollars for a cocktail. In my opinion they should charge more. Our drinks were also excellent in st Thomas and we charged 15 dollars for a signature martini.
So people who have never worked in a restaurant please keep in mind that you pay for the service they provide to you. Don’t give them a raving review then give them less of a star because of their prices, they deserve those prices because of the great cocktails and service they provide you.
For the service you get from the moment you walk into Methuselah, 8 dollars for a cocktail is actually dirt cheap.
However if you’re the type who would rather pay 4 dollars a cocktail and witness a fight or stabbing all in one night, then Pepes is right around the corner and sounds more like your type of bar!
