if your a local, you’ll definitely feel comfortable! even though we were new to the area, the bartender was very friendly. and they have plenty of tvs to watch the big game (whether it be football, basketball, golf, etc)

Thirsty’s; the place I went after HS, during college vacation, when visiting my folks over the years after. Always a scattering of old classmates, neighbors, newly arrived and all having a great time.

Thirsty’s is a drive bar in Pittsford Village. The local watering hole has many regulars and the back patio is usually busy during the summer months, even though the building has no exterior signage. The full bar features a decent beer selection on tap. It is known for its mark-​your-​own Bloody Mary bar and free Pontillo’s pizza delivered for football games on Sundays. Although they do not offer food, Hungry’s Grill next door will hand deliver orders into the bar. Bring your debit card for the ATM, because Thirsty’s accepts cash only.

Thirsty’s is an awesome place to have a good night. Be careful not to miss it, there’s no sign, and no this isn’t an homage to «always sunny» I have been told it’s due to an old rule in Pittsford. But go inside and order a nicely heavy handed mixed drink, a can of Genesee, wine or a nice beer on tap. You can easily find someone down for a game of darts or Golden Tee. Outside on the back patio is nice, in the summer, and they have plenty of outdoor seating. Enjoy! Bring cash, no cards.

Nothing crazy special about Thirstys but a decent local div-​ish bar. It can be a nice place to grab a beer. Gets busy during the holidays and otherwise frequented by local pittsford-​ites. There is an outdoor area which is nice during the summer. There is a Pontillos and some other eateries nearby and the village is a pleasant place to walk around regardless. If you in the area and want some cheap beer and don’t want a swanky vibe (or any type of vibe for that matter), this is the place!

This bar is very hard to find simply because there is no sign on the front. However if you do stumble upon the bar it is definitely worth stopping in. This bar is a very well maintained historical dive. The bartender/​manager is a extremely friendly guy who gets to know you the more you go in there. He really makes going to a bar the experience it should be. There are always specials on cheap beer and seasonal specialties along with a decent draft selection. During the summer there is a nice outside area, and dont worry about being hungry. You can order from Hungry’s next door and they will bring your food right over. A great place to stop by with some friends for a drink or multiple depending upon what mood you are in! Bring cash!

Good little local bar. Gets packed around the holidays when all the locals squeeze in. Bartenders and prices are great though, and the deck outside is beautiful in the summer.

To truly feel the spirit of Pittsford, a trip would not be complete without having at least one round at Thirsty’s. We found this place on the recommendation from some folks we met at a local hotel bar. This place is not fancy but this is a great place to meet folks and have a beer (or several). Great draft selection. As far as the clientele, you have a very diverse spectrum. We saw a bride to be and her batchlorette party, folks dressed in khakis and polo shirts and well as those in Jeans, T-​shirts and sneakers. Age range is across the spectrum as well. Young and Old. Beware as I think I spotted a couple of cougars!
You really have to rate this bar for what it is. For definitely being proudly a dive bar (and I love dive bars), this is a great location and a great Pittsford original.
