Knights Inn Scranton/Wilkes-Barre/Pittston

Can’t beat a clean room with a great staff for $ 60 when holiday inn somehow thinks they are worth $ 169! Dated rooms, but comfortable, clean, and well appointed. Staff was great with my two kids. They even had a crib for the toddler!

Used a coupon for $ 35.95 rate. Convenient location off I81. Basic low end chain motel. Can park right at room. It was a 10 degree night and heat unit is just below minimally adequate.

Very clean location. It’s typically quiet and always clean. Staff is very friendly. I stay here regularly for a weekend college program I attend and several other students do too. I stayed in 5 or 6 different t hotels in this area and found knights inn to be the most economical choice while still clean and quiet. Granted not somewhere I’d stay for a full vacation. But it’s clean and quiet and perfect for my purposes.

A very affordable stay in a convenient location.
I was looking for a place to crash to split up a long trip and decided to give Knights a try. It’s located right off of the exit ramp of I-​81, so it couldn’t be much easier to get to.
The room itself was clean and cozy. It came with a flat screen TV, fridge and microwave. The staff was very friendly and helpful. In the room, the AC was powerful and cooled the room very fast on a muggy night.
At $ 51 after taxes for one night, it’s certainly worth it. It’s not the most luxurious stay, but it’s better than the Econo Lodges and Super 8’s that are comparable in price. Knights apparently also has rooms with jacuzzis, but those were all taken when I checked in.
If you need somewhere to stay that’s in a good location, I would recommend Knights.
