Voted as one of the top 10 burgers in NEPA, I was looking forward to trying it! The standard burger comes with chili, onions, and ketchup. It was pretty good. I wasn’t blown away or anything. What I really enjoyed were the hot dogs (dijon, chili, onions) and the fries (shoestring, fresh) and the cool retro ambiance.

This is a typical hot dog lunch joint right out of the 60s. If you were to clean the place it would lose its character. The menu is simple, Hot Dogs, Burgers, Cheesesteaks. Fried right in the front window. It was like stepping back in time. I expected to see guys with fedoras and pin suits. The hot dogs were good with that unhealthy Chili just the way you want it when you go to a place like this. Very cheap and reasonable.

This place would gain 2 stars instantly if they’d just close for two days and actually clean the place. Talk about run-​down and dirty. Flies landing on your fries? I used to enjoy a burger and fries every now and again from the Majestic, but with Burger King only a block away (and that does NOT say much), why would anyone bother?

The Majestic is amazingly preserved to remind one of a better place and time. The Texas wieners and burgers are amazing. The shoestring fries compliment the burgers and dogs well. The chili sauce is by far the best I have ever tasted. Owners and employees are very nice

Okay, so strange as it may sound, I consider myself a hot dog connoisseur. And I have lived in NEPA my entire life and Majestic Lunch has never crossed my radar until recently.
I met a friend of mine who works in the Pittston area, for lunch at Majestic and I loved it. The place looks as if it was frozen in time, not much has changed there in the last 60 years (and yes that’s a good thing). The menu is nothing exciting or new, your basic hamburgers, and hotdogs, however it’s everything you would want for a place like the Majestic– good, simple, fast, and cheap.
If you’re in Pittston and looking for great fast lunch– this is your place.

i grew up on these damn hot dogs love them to death every time i visit back home stop by at least twice they are still my favorite dog have tried many others including the famous [ all overated ] priced right too so get three or four try the texas cheese burger too not texas size but a great treat

Does it have a cutting edge menu? ah, no. Does it look like a NYC design firm did the interior? ah, no. Do they have a good selection of libations? ah, no. Do they at least have Hotness to serve the hotness? ah, no. What they do have, is possibly one of the best damn chili dogs I have ever had. They take the time to split the dogs, fry them till the cut side has a nice texture, then they slather them with this AMAZING chili. Look at my profile picture, that shape didn’t happen by accident. I know a thing or two about chili dogs! They also have a satellite location in the Sunoco gas station on Carverton Road in the Back Mountain area. Eat them by the bushel, join me on darkside Luke…
