Porky’s Pizza

My family has pizza Fridays! We order pizza from Porkys every Friday. The pizza does not compare to the major chains. Porkys pizza crust is thick just how I like it. We have ordered different types of pizzas. All of the pizza are awesome. The price is cheap especially if you pick up. I also like how they still employ teenagers. Not very many businesses still give teenagers jobs!

Im not sure where to start… I find this to be an ok pizza parlor.
I had the majority of the pizza chains, Dominoes, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, and the small mom and pop ones. Costco pizza.
This pizza place taste very similar to Pizza hut and maybe slightly better.
I hope we can all agree that the pizza chains are all greasy, oily. Our office ordered the pepperoni, ham, cheese pizza, sasuage and veggie.
I had the veggie and pepperoni and ham.
I wouldnt say its anything special… in fact, it taste very similar to pizza hut. Its the typical greasy and oily… the crust seems to be parmasean crust and taste better than cardboard pizza. The toppings were alright…
The pizza did come pretty fast and the food was hot.
I guess i had pieology and other gourmet pizza place and i find the average pizza parlors very flat.

You can’t compare this to any other pizza such as Domino’s Pizza Hut etcetera etcetera. I get the same thing every time I come. I get I carry out special one extra large two topping

The pizza is excellent… when they get the order right, which is about 50% of the time. I ALWAYS ask for thin crust, and I’ll reiterate my request and ask them to confirm my order at the end, but like I said, half the time they get it wrong :(I will say that my hubby is allergic to mushrooms, so when I order a half-​and-​half pizza and specify that the mushrooms can’t spill over to the other side, they’ve been pretty good about obliging. Delivery/​service is usually pretty quick and friendly. The hot wings are not good; then again, I worked at Hooters for years so that might just be a biased opinion. Overall, worth it. I’ve definitely gotten porkier since becoming a repeat customer.

I have always liked porkey’s. i called to get a pizza and garlic knots but i ordered the deal (garlic knots, hot wings, pizza, drink, and a salad) it was 44 dollars compared to the 38 for just the pizza and knots. The wings were cold and burnt, the salad was brown after you took the toppings off. The pizza was fine, a little cold but fine. all this for 50 bucks after tip was outrageous. i will not order from there again !!! the only positive thing was the very nice delivery driver!

I have to say, I have ordered from Porky’s in Brea many times… And tonight was the first night they totally screwed up my order! I should have known that when they said my order was $ 52.00 something was wrong! When it came an hour after I ordered it, one pizza didn’t have the cheese blanket I paid for and the other one was large instead of extra large without the olives I ordered on it. And both pizzas were barely cooked! I never call and complain for anything; but the $ 52 dollar cost made me call!!! They were very accommodating and sent us new pizzas. It was really the principal of it; we definitely didn’t need more pizza!!! The second time the order came, the cheese blanket was there… barely…and I still think I got a large pizza instead of an extra large but I really appreciate that they tried to make it better. I understand this is a busy night for them and it’s probably just an oversight, so I will continue to order from here because they typically have really great pizza. This experience may have not been the best, thus the three stars, but at least they made an attempt to correct the situation and I will definitely order from them again.

Good pizza and great price. We got a 3 topping extra large pizza and it was only like $ 21 total. The pizza was actually really good and not too greasy. Service was good and quick! Will be back!

Really small pizza place with no indoor seating but the food is great. I stopped by and made a to go order and they were very quick. The employees were super helpful and friendly. The garlic knots are delicious and they also give you the option for Parmesan butter crust on the pizza which is amazing. A good go to place in Yorba Linda if you’re craving pizza.

Great local Pizza place! I order from here it seems like once a week or so, sometimes we get delivery (if we’re uh, busy) otherwise I’ll pick it up. Regardless of how we get it the Pizza is always ready (or arrives) when it’s promised and is always hot and fresh. I’ve only ordered from the location on Imperial and I only wish that they would move to a larger (local) location so they could offer dine-​in as an option!

Love the pizza. Always on time for delivery. I order here once a week and never been disappointed. Thanks and keep up the good work guys!

First and last.
I’ve lived in Placentia for 10 years now and have driven past Porky’s Pizza over 100 times. And every time I passed it I thought I should give them a try. Well, last night I ordered pizza from Porky’s and will NEVER make that mistake again!
#1 they were 30 minutes late (total wait time of an hour and a half)!!!
#2 they screwed up my order
#3 for the hat trick– the pizza was HORRIBLE!
Delivered cold!!!
Bad crust, bland sauce, poor quality everything
An old leather shoe covered in tomato paste would have been better.
You have a choice of where to spend your hard earned money– my advice is simple: don’t spend it at Porky’s Pizza!!!

Ordered a specialty ‘Porkeys Pizza’ with pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, white
onions, green peppers, and black olives for pick up. There was not one pepperoni on this pizza ;-(
We added the advertised ‘Cheese Blanket’ described as «a delicious layer of mozzarella cheese, fresh garlic, and basil blanketed over your favorite toppings and cooked to perfection. Guaranteed to put any pizza over the top with flavor.»
I will tell you this is absolutely FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, there is no blanket of cheese, it was barely even noticeable that any cheese at all was added, there was zero garlic or garlic flavor, the basil is not fresh (dried small flakes from a shaker). TOTAL waste of money. This pizza was dissappointingly without flavor, extremely sparce of any cheese, and crust much too dry. Cost for a large pizza with tip $ 29…Terrible

I honestly really like Porky’s Pizza. The food is always really good (salads and pizzas), the service is quick, and the people who work here are friendly. I see a few poor reviews but those people seem like they are either assholes themselves (Jon S) or they just had a one-​off experience. Thank God we just moved from Brea to down the street from here so it’s either Tony’s (if we have a 3 hours to wait for a pizza) or Porky’s from now on!

Porky’s is our pizza place. Hands down best pizza in the brea/​Yorba Linda /​Placentia area. Must get the Parmesan crust. Only down side is they are busy so be prepared to talk loud and repeat your credit card number & order over and over when ordering by phone.

These people are complete assholes. I’ve had the run around where they say they’ll deliver to my address one day and then a few weeks later they say they won’t. The night manager Jacob in particular is a jerk. He talks down to you and talks over you like you are some dumb dipshit on a talk show. All he needed to say was I’m very sorry but we can’t do that… with a nice tone of voice instead of being a complete azz. You ought to be fired.

Absolutely love this place! The pizza is good but I come for the cinnamon knots and garlic knots.

They make pizza and it is delicious. Staff seems nice, although I mostly order for delivery so I don’t see them in store.

This place is amazing and has great customer service. They asked if I needed help carrying my food to the car… what (that’s amazing)? Lets be honest, when was the last time anyone ever offered to help you like that. Superb customer service at its finest.

I’m not sure how to rate them I like their food and the service was so nice… at first. We got there a bit early for our take out order. We purchased one of their combo meals that came with pizza, salad, wings and a 2 liter bottle of soda.
Apparently it is a very popular order and we watched quite a few of combos go out the door. Two times we watched the same order go out the door when the people who ordered did so after us.
We placed our order, waited 10 minutes to drive over and figured we’d be able to pick our order up not too long after we got there. When we arrived we were greeted by two super friendly guys tossing pizzas and then someone came up and went over our order, quoted us 10 more minutes we paid and sat down.
45 minutes later a manager came out to tell us that they had miscounted the wings and we’d have to wait 15 more minutes for new ones to be made, but not to worry because they separated them into 2 pans to hopefully cook them faster. So our pizza was ready and had been sitting in a warming bag while they all discussed how to tell us about their mess. I’ve worked in lots of restaurants so I don’t appreciate being kept waiting and letting my food get cold just because you don’t know how to tell us what happened. Then tell us you’re going to make us a crappy version of the wings you messed up.
At this point we were starving and I didn’t want my already soggy pizza to keep getting colder. In my eyes if we were going to wait that long they should have just remade our entire order so everything would be hot and ready. Because we couldn’t wait any longer she made some note in the computer promising us wings on our next order… lets hope they keep that end of the deal because i’ve been scared to go back.
Long story short our pizza, though cold was pretty good. The salad was delicious so I’d like to go back and if we didn’t have such a bad ending to our experience I would have been back many times. I just can’t fathom spending over 30 bucks for cold pizza and no wings… which she did not discount our order for.
Porky’s I sure hope you get you s**t together for my next order.
