The best trip tip ever! Everything they do is amazing!

I was at The John Lin Golf Tournament at Coyote Hills Golf Club and they were catering! My taste buds said, best tri-​tip sandwich ever, very juicy and full of flavor. The family was BBQing the meat fresh right there over a wood fire, made in the traditional Santa Maria style. I usually find tri-​tip sandwiches bland and dried out with only the sauce making it platable, but with Venegas Catering they do BBQ right!
The tri-​tip didn’t need any additional sauces since it was so good, but I couldn’t resist trying the family’s own salsa blend. A little bit of spice, it’s finely minced tomatoes and herbs was delicious paired with the savory meat.
I was so impressed with the BBQ I bought a large jar of the family’s secret spice blend for $ 20. It’s great on everything: beef (of course), chicken and salad! I wanted to know what exactly was in it, but they said family only and secret so they whole «if I told you I would have to kill you thing». :(
