Best Mexican food this town has seen in a long time. VERY fresh! I wouldn’t go anywhere else to eat Menudo, Ceviche, Tortas or Burritos! Delicious.

Great authentic mexican plates like tacos and great service family owned., they else have meats to go ready chicken fajita mix ready to cook., and many different mexican products like nopales, carnitas and chicharones and many other products.

Should have kept driving past this place as I have done the past 5 years. The food is mediocre at best. The prices are a rip-​off for the amount of food that you get. Service was not friendly. Won’t be back. For good food, go to Taqueria Carnaval off Missouri Flat Road (in McDonalds parking lot).

Be careful! I had my ATM card number stolen from this market! Whoever copied it went on a shopping spree at Nordstrom in Sacramento. Luckily they could only use it as a VISA card and I will be able to get the money back. I’m not saying an employee from this market copied the number but there is obviously a security problem with the way they are handling the cards. I suggest you use cash only here.

This is a Mexican grocery store /​taco shop. Not much seating inside — maybe 10 chairs or so. Tijuana Taqueria up on Broadway is my favorite tradition Mexican food place, but Taqueria Soto is equally as good and less expensive! I had carne asada tacos for lunch today. Simple. They were made to perfection with two corn tortillas each. The tortillas were yummy, the beef cooked perfectly and the whole thing seasoned and topped just right. Bottom line — I’m going to be a regular here :)

We saw a sign on the side of the road for a Taqueria opening up in the little Mexican Meat Market up on the hill.
We stopped in an and had lunch there a week ago, and have been back 3 times since.
This place is the BEST little Mexican food place in Placerville, hands down.
Their Carnitas and Chicken Taco’s are to die for. I swear this place has made every other Taqueria in Placerville instantly obsolete.
There’s only three little tables in the side of the store, so don’t expect a fancy restaurant, but if you want the most flavorful, fresh and authentic taco’s you’ve ever had, check this place out!
