Nice little laid back lounge. Workers are very nice and friendly. The atmosphere and lighting are great. Very laid back and inviting. Lots of cool artwork to check out and if you really like it I think you can buy them. I suggest you go and hang out for a beer or wine or two.

This place is WILD.
Upon entering, you realize it is not your average wine bar. Service is casual, live music is bohemian, and there is art, couches, a local-​vibe.
The bartender was super nice, and all the wine and beers were around $ 6 each, so you will not break the bank. They have local wines as well.
As nice as everyone was, Placerville has a large Hippie community and this is possibly the Epi-​Center of that community, apart from the Cosmic Café. So, be prepared to hang with people who may not have showered recently, but will have some very good conversation.

Went there in the middle of the day and the place was a charm. Enjoyed chalking over the counter and met some amazing people. Few of them were local artists who’s work was displayed at the lounge. Marina, their bartender, is another reason why you want to check this place out. If you love art, wine, beer, good company and card games… THIS IS THE PLACE!!!

This establishment is wonderful! Stopped in for a drink and ended up staying 6 hours! Travis and Julie are just delightful! I felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Travis greeted and welcomed us immediately! Hope to return soon!

First impressions are everything. The first time I came here I have never been so appalled in my life about the service I just received there. My friend who just turned 30 was carded, I get it, she looks young, but after reciting all the correct information off her ID, the bar tender made a scene and continued to ask all the other bar tenders really loudly while the other customers were staring on, whether or not they thought her ID was real. Thank you for the embarrassment, we will not be back ever. Wish you could give no stars…

I Finally made it in here last week, Really dug the vibe and all the Bad Ass art! Great service from Steph and plenty of Wine & Beer to choose from. If your in P-​Town stop in and check this place out \\m/​/​Cheers!

Found this gem while staying next door at the Carey House Hotel. Great atmosphere, and even better people working there. Do yourself a favor and try it out, you won’t be sorry.

My favorite bar in Placerville. Travis, the bartender, is awesome. You can order beer or wine and draw on the bar with chalk, who wouldn’t love this place? Game nights on wed nights, live music and open mic nights, paint and sip classes, the smash and sip classes (mosaic art class, I made a tray!) and more. The people are always friendly, and the vibes are chill. If ur going there call me I’ll drink some beer with you.

Really enjoyed this spot recently. Quiet on a Friday night but gives the indication that when events are going on it’s probably busy and joyous. For myself, I enjoyed the quiet of a slow night and the delicious local wine offered. Got to taste a few options to find exactly what I was looking for and the bar was more than happy to accommodate. Thanks! The website seems fairly up to date if you want to enjoy a night out with a full crowd and interesting events or go more low-​key with a partner or just treat yourself to some delicious libations.

I went to H. Art Lounge to go see a group called Starhushed. They were a really great group, especially the female singer, she had a really good voice! I would go and see this group again! I enjoyed their music! I really liked H. Art Lounge also, a very mellow place. People and owner were very friendly and kind.

I’m so impressed with this bar, music venue art gallery open space of love and light and creation! I’ve never been to a place so exactly as I would wish a space for some awesome people to go and BE! If your just passing thru or a good soul looking for kindred hearts go! There’s amazing art, jewelry, wine and beer! Tons of chocolate everywhere to eat free! I love the owner and the bar tender Travis were both so so nice and an open hearts of truth! The other patrons were so cool too I felt at home and welcome! Defiantly one of my new happy places!

Awesome wine and great company! My friend and I went in last night for a glass of wine. We were greeted so warmly and made to feel right at home. The staff knows their wines very well and the atmosphere is super fun! If you are in Placerville do not pass it up. They are so rad!

1÷11÷2016 I have to put a disclaimer here: I have recently started as a volunteer Art Director here, but I wrote this review before that happened. I moved from San Jose to Rescue and was used to a lot of cool art Galleries and artist gathering events in San Jose, but could not find the equivalent in El Dorado County. There are cool art people, but the styles and events seem to be more on the contemporary conservative side. I love some landscapes and appreciate the local art and artist here, but it is it’s own different vibe. I gravitated to spending time at H. Art, because of the more relaxed and bohemian art feel to it.
My original review before starting to be involved:
This is an amazing place that is a hidden gem in Placerville.
The place has chalk board walls and chalk, so you can literally draw on the walls. They have a great selection of local wines and Beer, as well as PBR.
I went to a few live draw events there and it was fun. the people who work there are very open and friendly, making it a pleasant place to go to.
It has a modern Gothic style feel to the interior décor with lots of Art that goes outside the standard landscape and traditional styles that many of the other local galleries are accustomed too. I am not knocking that style, because I do like it, but you can find some very cool unusual art here.
I have not participated in any of the art classes, but I have walked in while one was going on. It was a wine grape themed class and all of the participants seemed to be enjoying themselves.
When the rest of Main Street is getting too loud and rowdy, this is the perfect place to go to mellow out and find your inner creative being while you enjoy a glass of wine.

What a great little gem! Open for only two months, owner Stefania has created an art and wine experience like no other! Come into what feels like her living room, have a glass of wine, and create something beautiful and unique. Love this place!

Beautiful spot. Excellent wines. The owner, StefaNia is definitely in her element. A can’t miss spot in Placerville. Try the Rosé — it’s wonderful. Next door to the Historic Cary House. I enjoyed the wine, the atmosphere, the stories. Amazing experience. Will definitely return.
