Friendly gym. Not fancy but comfortable. Only complaint is it feels very geared to men as most of the TVs outside the aerobic room are all sports. Plus the guys make a ton of noise with the weights. It definitely has been updated but would be nice if ONETV was not sports or Fox News. Stay away from the politics and just make it a nice gym. One other complaint is they don’t let you know when your membership is up. Weird. It seems they want to upcharge you rather than give you a chance to sign up for a longer agreement.

This gym use to be THE place to work out, with the best trainers and great equipment. Now, your options for a trainer is one who is taking enough steroids for a hundred men that never smiles and makes you feel less than welcome in the weight room. There are many other options in town, I suggest looking at those first.

The Good: –No sales people! Ask for the price and they give it to you. Month to month membership is inexpensive and easy. They also offer a 10 time pass for $ 60. –Down to earth friendly environment whether you are fat, thin, buff, young, old, etc. –Great yoga classes! –Good equipment –They have childcare and it is cheap The not so good: –Child care is unpredictable. You never know who will be watching the kids. The adults do not interact with the kids. No outlet covers. Lots of kids crammed into a small space. When my 1 yr old goes I put her in the bouncy seat… she stays there the whole time, no one ever gets her out to hold her or play with her. If you have older kids and don’t mind them watching TV while you workout then they will do great in the childcare. If you have a baby 0 – 2 yrs I would skip it. –Personal training is not so personal and not very professional either. –There is a lot of equipment in a small space. The room for classes is usually crowded(at least for morning yoga).

Nothing like going to a gym to find most of the equipment you want to use has no upholstery. No sign to say when the pads will be replaced or anything! Is this for a day, week or month? Placerville really needs a decent gym in town! If you build it… They will come! Oh, first review sounds like a sales vendor to me… All 5 stars where ever she goes!

This gym used to be good but it has really gone downhill. A significant portion of the equipment is broken. The owners say they will fix equipment but it is done slowly if at all. There are some great instructors and classes and many nice people who are members. It is a shame that the owners are so cheap that they have not maintained the gym. For example, when the sound system for classes broke it took six weeks to get it fixed. There was minimal if any communication to instructors so even when there was a new system the instructors didn’t know how to use it.

I love this gym! The staff is always kind and helpful. They also have some of the best Yoga teachers on earth! You don’t have to be a member to take yoga. You can pay by the day. You can buy a 10 day pass for $ 60 that is good for six months. That makes each class ONLY $ 6.50!
