Ordered combination seafood/basil dish, it was fabulous! My husband ordered his usual ½ chicken with their special spices-juicy and delicious. The staff are very gracious, we are grateful to have this place in Placerville

I wish they could do better. The Red Snapper dish(#47) is good if you get it on a good day… other days they substitute catfish(which is obvious) and even that is «not so fresh”— Even when you say«that is not snapper» they will insist that it is. The Caucasian waiter is just the worst, he stumbles, delays, complains, and feels sorry for himself, and even admits he can’t talk to the cooks because they don’t speak English… so … don’t try to ask for anything. «can I have noodles instead of rice» is too much for him to handle, any more than 2 tables is too much for him to handle… The Asian woman does much better but has«other duties» that keep her in the kitchen. The Pad Thai(a favorite for most customers) is bland and lacks many of the common ingredients… just noodles really… I guess they survive because there’s no real competition in Placerville. I keep going there because Thai is my favorite kind of food… I would say that I regret it about 4 out of 6 times.

New name, same yummy food. I got the usual togo(pad Thai, chicken yellow curry, giew tod, chicken satay, and two orders of sticky rice). Everything tasted the same and we were satisfied. I bumped up the star because this is Placerville and it’s as good as it gets.
