I am beyond dissatisfied with this company. My husband and I began attempting to contact this Amerigas location when our tank was at approximately 25% capacity. We called multiple times over several days leaving three different voicemail messages because no one ever answered or a recording told us they were unavailable. We never received a return phone call. After over ten days of no communication, I contacted the Mansfield branch to place our order. They assured me the order was completed and«had no idea why Columbus wasn’t doing their job». After 6 business days(a Friday) I called back to ask if we were scheduled for delivery. They stated we should be on route for Monday at the latest. She added that I should«wait and see» and call back Monday if no one showed up. I called Monday. Was told they had contacted their district manager regarding the issue and had personally sent the order to dispatch to have placed on the route for the very next day. Well, let’s just say today is the very next day and after nearly a month of trying to get a refill, we still have a propane tank at 7% during one of the coldest weeks of the year with a newborn son at home. Very poorly run operation.

They always keep me supplied. Billing is always correct. Techs are very polite. They are a great company to do business with.

My first experience with propane heat has gone well so far. I settled on Amerigas after looking at prices and service reviews online, and haven’t been disappointed. The local office is right around the corner from me, and though they aren’t really set up for retail service, the staff is very friendly to random walk-ins. Prices are reasonable, and they’ll try to get you a good deal. There are various service plans, you can lock in prices on some, etc. I just fill up in the summer and top off once in a while if needed; they usually come by within a week if I say there’s no rush.
