I used to live in Plainfield and had several fillings and crowns done there. The Dentist at the time(Dr. Sweet?) was very skilled and very caring but she was so incredibly overworked, being a single dentist in a large facility that I each appointment left me waiting in the chair between stages of treatment up to 40 minutes. Once, I was there waiting so long the numbing for my teeth prior to a filling wore off and after the«OWWWW!» she had give me another shot. I liked her manner, but after two wisdom teeth had to be pulled, they sent me to another Aspen Dental as they didn’t do surgery on the day needed in Plainfield. My insurance didn’t accept the other dentist, even though they are part of the same chain and I had to pay for it out of pocket. and it was close to a thousand dollars for two simple extractions with no complications.

I called ahead for a pop up appointment for wisdom tooth extraction and was connected with a remote call center. I made an appointment for wisdom tooth extraction. Once, I got there and gave them all of my information and told the receptionist I was there for wisdom tooth extraction. I filled out all of the forms and had my X-rays emailed to them. Once I got in the back I found out they were only able to do the basic exam and then schedule me for an extraction weeks into the future. I already had a cleaning and an exam with X-rays one week ago. And I told them this over the phone BEFORE I made an appointment. So it wound up being a waste of valuable time for everybody.

I DONOTRECCOMENDTHISFACILITYUNLESSISSUESARERESOLVED!!! Let me start off by saying I am Not a regular patient of Aspen Dental, I was told by my insurance that this location accepted my insurance. When I called to confirm this information with Aspen Dental they also told me over the phone that they accepted my insurance. So we continued with scheduling an appointment. The next day I was called to confirm the appointment and they were very nice about moving my appointment time up because they had earlier openings, at this time I took it upon myself to confirm that my insurance was one that they accepted, they again said yes. The day of the appointment I arrive and fill out my new patient paperwork and hand the dest clerk my insurance card only to have her look at my card and say very rudely to me «We do not accept your insurance.» I was so livid at this point I said please make sure because every single person I have spoken with has confirmed that you do in fact accept my insurance. So two minutes later she again said«No we don’t accept your insurance, I don’t know who told you we do, but we don’t. You can continue with your appointment if you like because your first visit is free.» I said to her that will not be happening because I specifically pay for insurance so that I don’t have to worry about things like this. Im not going to get an exam to be told that I need to come back and spend an ungodly amount of money on my next appointment because you don’t accept my insurance. Moral of the story is I believe it very unprofessional for there to be so many employees of Aspen Dental to be giving out FALSE information to «New Patients» just to get people in the door hoping that they can«Swoon» them into staying for a «Free Exam» when thats not even the most expensive part of seeing any kind of specialist. I am not a happy person about all of this, not only was I duped into coming to this facility but after filing out the paper work the desk clerk at this office was VERYRUDE in passing along information to me as if I should have know ahead of time. Fact is I was told by so many of their employees wrong information and for her to be so rude about it was very upsetting. I also find it as a business owner very unprofessional that the front desk employees were so open about having a conversation about how«I hate you for giving me a runny nose» and talking about their kids and babysitters and information about their personal lives in front of me as I’m standing at the desk waiting to be helped and told what is actually going on. I would hope for the future that the first people that you see in a business like this the employees would handle them selves with more professionalism, and talk to the customers weather new or reoccurring, with respect. Last bit of advice is for your employees to be on the same page and give out the CORRECT information to patients so that this doesn’t happen to anyone in the future.

They do not deserve even one star. They lie to their customers pretending they will take care of the problem and you will end up paying 1000s of dollars for technician services that are not even done properly in the end you will end up going to a different dental facility to treat your problem. They overcharge and do not treat

Too corporate. Not a very personal experience. Tries to sell you things you don’t need.
