Buffed Nail Spa

I’ve been going here for well over a year now and I’ve had such a great experience every time. I typically go for a pedicure only but the handful of times I’ve had manicure service have been equally as enjoyable. The staff has always been kind, helpful, and done a great job with my feet and hands.
The interior is very clean and well-​ventilated, doesn’t have that headache-​inducing chemical smell. The décor is lovely, sleek, and makes for a particularly enjoyable ambiance.
I’d recommend making an appointment, but they do take walk-​ins. Weekends seem to be busier than weekdays.

By far this is the best nail salon that I have ever gone to… and I have gone to many!
The service is excellent and my nails (no chip) always look fabulous (Thank you Trang).
The salon is extremely clean and the staff very friendly and courteous. Love the fact that I can make an appointment and 9 times out of 10 they are on schedule or just a few minutes behind.

The only place in Plainfield I will go to get my nails done. It is truly a relaxing atmosphere with soft music and employees who genuinely take their time completing your service. I have had my nails done in several different places and this place has the longest results with how long a no chip manicure ends up lasting for me. If your looking to relax and to pamper yourself spend the extra five dollars and go here!

first time there, very clean place, great work, and the price was reasonable, the only thing I didn’t like was the fact that I couldn’t get my nails done next to my friend she was on the other side. Everything else was perfect though. Will definitely come back (:

Five stars for politeness and flexibility. I screamed in at five minutes before closing with my dog in tow. Usually that would be and instant NO but instead he was able to play with another little dog and I was quickly run through a basic mani. They really wanted to go home but when I told them that I had a flight at oh dark thirty in the morning they were happy to accommodate. The ONLY problem is not being allowed to add a tip to the credit card. I despise that practice because I do not ever carry cash.

I have visited Buffed Nail Salon several times while in town from DC, and I have never been disappointed! The staff is friendly and professional, the salon is bright and clean, and the manicures and pedicures are always fantastic. I wish they had a salon in DC!

This is the place to go in Plainfield. Clean nice and clear understanding of what you want.
No hard sell for eyebrow wax or other garbage.
Stay away from other nearby salons (specifically the nail place by Kohls and CiCis!).

Trang has a really good thing going here. My favorite nail salon! The atmosphere is nice, and it’s always clean.

Maybe I went on a bad day? Though I made an appointment months in advance for my wedding nails & toes, I had to wait 30 minutes to begin. The man in the front is very nice, though the rest of his staff is rude.
The pedicure was relaxing. It was fun to watch the little dog run around. I did walk in with a coffee, but was never offered a drink.
Also the whole thing was a bit painful. It is also upsetting when the color you choose is an UPCHARGE. Along with all the other upcharges.
The nail experience was even worse. I showed them a picture of the style I wanted from Pinterest and was stunned to see my nail tech fight with the manager about if she was going to do it or not. And loudly, in a language I could not understand. Very uncomfortable for me.
I did not receive a manicure, or any cuticle work, before she started putting the acrylic nails on. But fear not, they buzzed my real nails PAINFULLY down. Ugh. Then the gel-​dust she spilled all over my fingers, but assured me that it would be cleaned up at the end. I asked why she didn’t fix my cuticles, and she said that that also comes at the end. She did do some clean up at the end, but it was very little and rushed.
I was UPCHARGED for filing an almond shape.
I was UPCHARGED for the nail polish color I chose.
I was UPCHARGED for the nail gems and application of those gems.
I was UPCHARGED for the gel acrylic nails.
I was UPCHARGED for the toe nail color.
I was UPCHARGED for the toe nail french paint.
Overall, I was very dissapointed. Not only with the final look of my nails, but the attitude I got from my technicians. I paid a ridiculous amount of money and ended up painting over the nails for my honeymoon.
I will never, ever return here.

Fabulous pedicure! Probably one of the best I ever had. I was pleasantly surprised by how immaculate the place was and by the relaxing and stylish décor. From the time you walk in to the time you leave, everyone is polite and nice, and accommodating. Very talented, took their time, and asked several times during the pedicure if I liked it. Well worth the money and I will definitely be back.

My husband and I went in for pedicures. The beach had beat up our soles and whomever would have to work on our feet was in for a workout.
The professionals at Buffed were meticulous and took pride in their work and the business. We both had a spa pedicure with the paraffin wax treatment. Now we are callus free, but and feeling great but… We will definitely be back!

Called at 10:30 am on a Saturday and asked for 3 pedicures at 1pm that day. Person on the phone was polite and accommodating. Appointments that day were not a problem.
Arrived on time and was seen for appt within 10 min, and it was a little busy at that time, so I was impressed they sat all three of us on time. I don’t know why but I expected a delay. I would have given 5 stars but one of the three of us (me) had to wait 20 min for a nail tech. Not horrible because I was in a massage chair with my feet in the water, but still a little annoying. The other two in my party each had their own nail tech immediately though.
The place is CLEAN (I saw a worker hand scrubbing the foot tub really well, and for a long time. The whole facility is very clean too) and decorated very nicely. Relaxing atmosphere. Very comfortable chairs. Basic pedicure was $ 30 and well worth it. They massage your feet and legs well.
Over all very happy to have found an affordable pedicure that looks (and feels) amazing. Most cheaper places have not been a good experience for me. This place has the look and feel of an upscale salon, without the outrageous prices.

Clean, beautiful, new salon! Many colors! The owners take a lot of pride in the cleanliness of the salon… It’s spotless! I love Lillie! She always goes the extra mile to do a fab job!

Only had time for a fill-​in instead of the full service me and my daughter went for because even though the website said walk in welcome we had to set a same damn appointment which forced us to wait around for 2 and a half hours. When we finally got a tech the service seemed kind of quick to me, but the final product was nice. I guess time will tell if they last. The location is in a nice area and the inside was very nice. My next visit I will have an appointment and hopefully the stars will increase.

Went there to get a pedicure as wife loves this place. Great service and reasonable prices. Definitely would recommend. And will go back.

I had a couple’s pedicure with my boyfriend and his pedi was by far better than mine, other than that my nails turned out great, and the salon is really nice. Sam did the boyfriend’s pedi, I highly recommend her! She gave him a nice foot and leg massage, and mine just came with lotion applied to my feet.

AMAZING!!! What a breath of FRESH air literally! The second I walked in the door I knew I had found my new nails salon. No smell of harsh chemicals, it smells lovely in there. When I get my nails done, I want to be in a beautiful relaxing, clean atmosphere, and that’s exactly what I got. Not only was I looking at the beautiful décor, but I was listening to relaxing music and offered something to drink. I got a mani and pedi and they took their time with me. Owners were personable, and the staff were fun and professional. Overall A+ The best place around to get your nails done. Once you go to BUFFED you wont want to go anywhere else I promise you. So if you haven’t gone yet, GOOOOOO!

Talented English speaking technicians, friendly and accommodating service, superb décor and impeccably clean. What more could a girl want? I’ve lived out here in strip mall hell for a year and every nail salon I try reaches a new low in cleanliness and sanitation. This shining new star in a world of filthy acrylic-​dusted relics and fungus breaders, is a welcomed beacon of hope for Naperville. (and Plainfield)
