Visit this place often and even had my daughters birthday party here! Prices are reasonable. Staff is ok. Place us clean.

This place is VERY clean & the staff is friendly. The yogurt is very good but the flavors are hit & miss. Some days there are 5 chocolate flavors to pick from & sometimes there’s only one(my son LOVES chocolate.). I havent had any flavor that was bad, which is a good thing, but I absolutely love the coconut flavored yogurt! They usually have great Facebook deals — like $ 4 cups, so like their page & score some sweet coupons!

I have been to the Pinkberry’s, Red Mango’s, TCBY’s, Yogen Fruz’s, Forever Yogurt’s of the world and have to say this place was pretty disgusting. The toppings were fine, but the«experimental» flavors such as Butter Toffee Popcorn had that artificial, nasty taste to them that lingers. I tried them all, hoping to find something that didn’t make my face pucker up and tongue stick out, but the only one that was palatable to me was plain old chocolate. I really wanted to like this place, and I hope that they work on making their flavors taste less like Jelly Bellies gone wrong.

CherryBerry would get three or even four stars if not for the sub-par service of their employee during our recent visit. We weren’t greeted when we came in(and she wasn’t doing anything at the time as the place was empty), we weren’t greeting when at the counter to pay and her attitude was as if she’d rather be anywhere but at CherryBerry. The yogurt itself was alright though somewhat watery coming out of the dispensers(perhaps this is normal?). I was a bit surprised by the lack of what I’d consider to be top flavors like red velvet, cinnamon bun and other missing choices. Since the cost is a little on the pricey side, might I suggest a smaller cup size as well.

Selection is ok, yogurt was a little watery. Good selection of toppings. Got this with a groupon so the price is ok.

CherryBerry is the third frozen yogurt destination I have tried — again, it is one of five in a 13 mile stretch of Route 59. And it’s in the same shopping center as Yumz. Talk about competition! I liked the unique flavor options: caramel pretzel, red velvet, cheesecake, and more. But plain folks who like safe chocolate and vanilla might be disappointed by that. By the way, the sea salt caramel pretzel is really tasty with the cheesecake, just make sure you top it with caramel and graham cracker bits. There are a lot of topping options, and I like the candy dispenser style that are mounted on the wall. And there are plenty more options on the counter, buffet style like other froyo places. It’s kind of a toss up for me, this place is just as good as Yumz.

The place seems pretty huge for the number of people who were there the couple of times I’ve been here, but I guess if you’re claustrophobic, this would be the store for you! They have a good selection of flavors(The carmel pretzel is awesome by the way) and on thusdays they have some free toppings. If you’re counting calories with MyFitnessPal, you wont be able to eat for several days afterwards, unless of course you intend on doing a marathon right after your visit, then you might only be about 300 calories over. But still within your goal I’m sure.

Returned to the store and was pleased once again with the cleanliness of the store and friendliness of the staff. Tried a new flavor, Chilly Vanilly which was definitely the best vanilla I have tried anywhere! And I was glad to see that the store supports the community by holding fundraisers for local sports teams and schools.

I’ve «researched» the suddenly plentiful Plainfield frozen yogurt options extensively. Both are of the self serve yogurt store variety as opposed to the more upscale California-style(see: Pinkberry). While CherryBerry’s competitor tends to have more fruit topping options available, the yogurt itself seems better here as it has a less artificially sweet taste. In the end, I’ve settled on CherryBerry as my go-to. Their California Tart(which is fat free, woo) will curb your tart yogurt cravings. They also have ‘commemorative cups’ for purchase in the store, and any time you bring them back, you get a dollar off your purchase. That makes this a sweet treat that’s affordable from a calorie and dollar perspective.

Yogurt was very«icy» today… not smooth at all. Toppings bar was clean and very well stocked!
