Franco’s Pizza

Grateful definitely will return back there pizza was wonderful. Sauces wonderful. Employed was wonderful.

This place is my staple for pizza, being in the Far west Joliet/​Plainfield area not a lot of options for delivery, it’s close and pizza is top notch! My only complaint is that sometimes it is a bit salty other than that this is the place for pizza!

Best pizza around. Franco is is so nice and staff too. I asked Franco if he could make pizzas for me with olive oil instead of red sauce. He was so accommodating, over the top. Food is outstanding and priced appropriately. Try it!

The pizza was stacked with toppings, so that was totally awesome. But I don’t think the crust was cooked all the way, it was soggy in the middle. Tasted much better after I reheated the pizza the next day.

Phone order on a Friday night was delivered in a timely fashion as we ordered, but the crust was really tough and cardboard like. Too bad because it tasted good, however I don’t like to fight with my food to chew it.

Best place to get Italian food in the area. Franco could easily be a full service Italian restaurant if he wanted to and the place would be packed. We always cater from them!
Addendum to my review… if I can give 10 stars, I would! Ordered a small half cheese and half pepperoni to be picked up. Got home and it was all pepperoni (no big deal at all). They called me at home when they recognized their innocent mistake and insisted on bringing me my half cheese and half pepperoni. I insisted they didn’t need to but she wouldn’t take no for an answer. They delivered me another pizza. What Amazing Customer Service! It was a simple mistake and they went above and beyond to fix it when I didn’t even asked for it to be fixed. They called ME. Franco’s is THE BEST Place for Pizza and Italian Food. Support your local small business!

Absolutely the best Pizza in Plainfield and top 5 I’ve had in the Chicagoland area. Great owner and awesome food. We live on the North end of Plainfield and it’s worth the drive to pick up a pie from this place.

Best pizza for miles by far! Good job Franco!!! Great thin crust pizza and Steve the delivery driver brings me my pizza faster than even Jimmy johns! Always hot and always fresh!

This is my favorite pizza place. Everything else that I have had there, from Italian beef to Chicken parm and pasta dishes is fantastic! Franco is wonderful and will do what it takes to make his customers satisfied. Love this place!

Stopped in for quick dinner and was pleasantly surprised… food was really good. Did not expect a takeout place to have a really mice eggplant parm sandwich and son loved his fettucine. We dined in at one of their two tables and service was excellent. Great family run kind of place… can’t wait to try the pizza

Been a regular since we moved here. $ 8.50 large cheese Tuesday-​Thursday can’t be beat. Always hot and fresh. When they are busy the people who answer the phones are a little short on politeness otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Good pizza– sauce is tasty and not too sweet, crust is not soggy, they give generous toppings and the price is right.

This is my second visit to Franco’s…this time for the much desired gnocchi with vodka sauce. The gnocchi were large pillows of yumminess with a creamy thick vodka sauce… it was very good. My husband had the lasagna, which was one of the best lasagnas we’ve tasted. The marinara sauce was bold and flavorful and the lasagna was cheesy goodness. The side of meatballs were soft, moist and perfection. We also shared a small thin crust tomato and basil pizza for a starter. The tomato sauce on this was simple and fresh, not complex like the marinara, but equally as good. We finished our dinner with the best tiramisu that was made with a touch of cinnamon. I never had cinnamon in a tiramisu but it blended well with the coffee and cocoa in this dessert. Sizes of the dinners and dessert were huge, and the prices are very reasonable. Franco showed this Italian girl his kitchen when I picked up our food. The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the place. I was impressed. Second, I learned that everything that is on the menus is homemade… no canned or bottled tomato sauce here. I learned Franco is from Sicily and his cousin from the same area works with him in the kitchen. I love that! Franco gives back to the community and is involved with the Wounded Warriors. I love that! He is proud of what he does and he should be… his food is fantastic whether it’s pizza, pasta or tiramisu.

Their thin crust pizza is amazing! I absolutely LOVED it. I wasn’t as much of a fan of their thick crust– too much dough for me– but it was still pretty good. Best pizza I have had in this area!

Franco’s food is the best in the area. I have been ordering for years and it only gets closer to perfect… great food and great people!!!

Best pizza in Plainfield!
Their thin crust is a little thicker than your normal, but that’s to hold all the fresh toppings and cheese that they pile on. They definitely don’t skimp on the cheese or toppings and the sauce is always proportianate with the rest of the pizza
Why am I not giving them 5 stars? Because they don’t deliver to my place of employment in Plainfield, so my co-​workers and I have to depend on others who live out in the direction to bring Franco’s pizza to us.

We love Franco’s. Not only is the food great, but with our location, its nice to have a great pizza place near us. Our family uses Franco’s for catering our parties and its always good food!

Top of the line pizzas, always fresh and hot, good food for the money. its nice not having to go over to route 59 for a meal! Thanks for being in our neighborhood…
