Mark was extremely easy to work with and does a fantastic job. I have hired him to do 2 jobs for me in my house. First floor rework and installation of new floors and then just this past week installation of new floors on my second floor. He is very responsive, let’s you know how the process is going to work — step by step — prior to his team coming to do their work. During the process, he also let’s you know how the progress is going, timing, do’s and don’ts and what is happening each day. He also followed up with me several times on making sure that the finishing part with carpets was completed and satisfactory to us. He has done a great job with the work that we have given him. I would recommend him to anyone looking to install beautiful new floors and/​or floors refinished.

My husband and I recently purchased a fixer-​upper. My husband is very handy, and can do most work, however he is one person, so we have dealt with quite a few contractors over the course of our home renovations. We interviewed a lot of hard wood flooring contractors, none of which we were impressed with. We either got no calls back, or they were way over priced.
I can honestly say that Northwoods Flooring is fabulous! Mark Rodrigues, the owner, is very professional, and above all HONEST! He told us what to expect and what he could reasonable deliver. Not a trait that I have come to expect in other contractors. What impressed me the most was during the last conversation I had with him he told me how to take care of «his» hardwood floors! The work he did was as if they were his very own. That is they type of craftsmanship and care that him and his team put into the jobs they perform. Just as the other reviewer said, he provided his portfolio and references and worked in a timely manner, as a matter of fact, he called us to start the job a few days early! I am very pleased with my experience and would recommend Northwoods Flooring to anyone.

Right away when I contacted Northwoods Flooring the owner, Mark, showed superb customer service by coming by later that day to give me a free in home estimate. He provided a portfolio with all of the work he had done residentially and commercially. Everything was gorgeous! He also provided us with a very LONG list of references. His price was very reasonable and his work looked amazing so we decided to go with Northwoods flooring and we are thrilled we did!
We were on a budget so we decided to do all the demoing of our old floors ourselves. Mark was a great resource in helping us do this correctly and efficiently. He was always in communication and available to answer any questions we had (and we had a lot) :)
Mark and his team worked very timely and professionally. The floors turned out BEAUTIFUL!!! A couple days after they were done I received a courtesy call from Mark asking if we had any questions or concerns, which we didn’t. He also told me I could call him anytime if any issues ever arose. This gave me so much peace of mind. From beginning to end Northwoods Flooring’s customer service could not be beat. When you invest in something as expensive as hardwood floors it’s nice to know you have a direct contact if something should ever happen. This isn’t something you get with large chain stores.
