Unfortunately I am forced to go to this deli. It’s right next to my job and on a half hour lunch break the choices for food and beverages are limited. It is INSANELY over priced. The pre made salads are the biggest rip off with barley a half scoop of chicken or tuna salad in them, you are basically sold lettuce for 7 $. Half the time I go they don’t have ice for your iced coffee or tea and the rest of the time there are COFFEEGRINDS in the coffee. Staff is friendly but overall the place sucks. Save your money go somewhere else

I like this place. Down the block from my work, it’s convenient with ample parking and seating. The staff is pretty friendly and the food is usually great. I had a chicken cutlet sandwich on 3÷24÷16 and the cutlets were so fresh that steam was coming out of them… Mmm and so moist! The boy who took me for an early lunch had a BLT hero and it had a generous amt of B in it. We ate both our sandwiches with haste. The price point is a bit high, but it’s convenient. There is some confusion with where to order when it’s busy… Is there a certain area for certain things? Hmmm I just go to the register by the rolls since I get a sandwich and that works out well. The confections they offer are always great. I’ll be back.

Nice spot to pick up breakfast or lunch. Pretty big. There’s so much to choose from the menu. Sushi to soup. I usually go for paninnis. They serve hot and cold lunches and quick on the go food too. There’s also so many cookies!

They just can’t get it right. I get there around 4pm on a Monday and the place is not busy at all. I figured they can not possibly mess up my order since it is not the crazy lunchtime rush, but I was wrong. I ordered a simple wrap off their menu and got someone else’s sandwich entirely… even though it was clearly labeled with my name and what should have been in it. It was labeled a wrap, but it was on a roll… that should have been the first clue. Then the second sandwich I ordered was on the wrong bread with different ingredients and just not correct at all. The staff here has zero listening skills. Their job was to take an order for two simple sandwiches and provide them to the customer correct. They have completely failed at this task and receive one star. I would have given zero stars if possible, for the frustration, waste of time, and money and the lack of friendliness or comprehension from the workers. I also feed bad for the guy who received the sandwich I was supposed to get, I am sure he is disappointed as well. Please get your act together!

Lots of choices. Parking lot is full during lunch hours. After lunch, around 2:00 — 4:00 some of the hot food is cold. The fire place is charming. Give it a try!

4th time, last time. Once I had a fantastic panini !! My third attempt at something edible will be my last. Got the Alton brown panini the chicken is so over fried and greasy it hurts to bite it. The so called broccoli rabe is actually spinach … Very strange slimy consistency Gave it three chances. Will never go again sad because I work in the area

Been coming here on and off for 4 years now. More out of convenance than anything. I always feel taken advantage of when leaving. Most times they get your breakfast order wrong. Stopped in for lunch today and afterwards felt like i should call the police. $ 10 for the most dismal sausage and pepper hero i’ve ever had. Dry, minimal sausage, if the sandwich was good i wouldn’t be complaining. Today just reminded me why i don’t come here much. Overpriced for sure, and quality of the food isn’t even worth the price. Lobster mac n cheese, more like mac n cheese soup. Liquidy, pasta was way over cooked, a bowl of cheesy mush. And nothing i could identify as being lobster. Very disappointing, should have just went to taco bell. I will not return here ever again and waste my hard earned money on sub par, over priced mush. I will inform my co workers to do the same.

Coliseum Kitchen is basically a whole food court wrapped into one! It is overwhelming going there, because the menu is so large. You can get salads, sandwiches, burgers, chicken, pizza, pasta, I can go on! They even have a huge drink cooler and a huge selection of candy and chips. I’ve been here several times and everything I’ve had has been pretty good. The burgers are decent, the pizza is surprisingly on point, and the sandwiches are HUGE. HUGE. Expect to spend between $ 10 and $ 20 but you’ll be getting a huge meal.

Coliseum is very quickly becoming my lunch crew’s go to spot. As a big deli, there are a lot of options: sushi, salad, sandwiches, hot foods, pizza and a ton of prepared foods to grab and go! We have never been disappointed. Plenty of seating — both indoor and outside too!

So, I know Ralph was wondering why the poor review. Well, Ralph, I tried your deli a few more times and my original review still stands. The service is still confused and the food is still disappointing. I got a sandwich from there recently and by noon they had run out of rolls. How do you run out of kaiser rolls by noon? So, I got a whole wheat roll. It must’ve been a day old, because it was hard as a rock and I had to rip it apart like an animal to try and eat it. Not very attractive. There was also twice as much lettuce on the sandwich as meat. So, I wish I could like this place, since it’s so close to home, but I just keep getting disappointed. Also, it’s expensive compared to other places in the area.

Lots of good looking options here, but almost all disappoint. I have tried everything from pizza to paninis and I’ve yet to find anything that truly satisfies. They make pizzas right on the spot with a fancy looking oven, but if it’s pizza you want, just to go La Piazza. The chicken parm slice was generous in size, but when I ate it I realized they must’ve just been trying to give it away because the crust made it little more than a giant slice of Ellio’s. Today I ordered a turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato and mayo on a roll. I was informed when I was paying they had no more regular rolls, so I opted for the whole wheat one instead. That wouldn’t be a problem except it couldn’t have been that fresh because I had to rip it apart like a brontosaurus. But the part that really got me going was the paltry amount of turkey on the sandwich. For $ 7.45 I received half of what any other deli in the area give you. Pathetic. The pros are there’s lots of chips and prepackaged snacks available, the counter service is friendly and there’s ample indoor and outdoor seating. I’ve been trying to like this place since it opened, but I can’t.

Food nothing special, bought terryaki chicken in salad, some brown lettuce, remember portion smaller after you take dressing out of container. They should have it on the side and pack container with lettuce. Lots of extra space.

I’ve been coming here for about two years now when I travel here from out of town. This is close to the hotel I stay at but has such a wide variety of items it’s worth coming nearly every day. I generally come here for dinner where they have several meal options ready to go along with a myriad of deli items. If I’m in a rush, I’ll go with something on their hotplates; otherwise I am quite partial to their reubens. The disco fries are pretty awesome(not quite poutine, but close enough when you’re not in Canada proper). But by far my favorite thing here are the raspberry crumbcakes. They are truly amazing and I once bought 40 of them to take home as I wasn’t coming back for a while. The technically aren’t from here, but CC treats them better than any other local restaurant around that carries them. They aren’t dry nor do they keep them over-refrigerated. I suspect my addiction keeps their inventory fresh, but still, they keep them properly stored in plastic containers for take away. They have a selection of various drinks and beer as well. Enjoy!

I went there on Sunday April 19. I wanted a Chef Ramsey Panini and after placing the order and paying, they said«we have no Panini’s» I was very surprised. How could you have no Panini? I order something else and when they order came I was walking towards the Door and I heard another customer said to the worker«what do you mean you have no bagels» I remembered I placed an order on the phone about 6 month ago went their to pick it up and it was not ready. The worker was sorry. They worked fast because I placed the order 25 minutes ago 1 sandwich and a New England Salad. The worker asked for help while I stood there waiting. 1 worker said no «I’m busy» the worker was just standing there, the other employee was trying to get my order to pack up. I have gone into Coliseum Kitchen and notice that some employees just don’t seen happy, Is there a change in service from when it first opened yes. I think better communications should be done on what items are on the menu in stock. I think that Employees should be reminded that you don’t know if a Customer is being send to Coliseum Kitchen to see how Customer Service is being performed. You might have to look at workers and see if they want to be in Coliseum Kitchen anymore. Your hours of Operations seem to change, closed on Sunday

The food is good, when you finally get your correct order. Three times in one week I was forced to return to the Kitchen Coliseum because they packaged me up with food that was not what I ordered. Tomatoes instead of bacon on a breakfast sandwich, putting ketchup on another occasion(on a coworker that can not stand ketchup), and the last time they flat out gave me the wrong peoples food. When I went back the people were STILL standing there waiting and I had to give them their correct dishes. I find it nothing but a waste if time and gas money to go here.

I have been here for breakfast several times. The staff is amazing. If you order to stay they bring it to you in a very nice setting. This is more than a deli. I am looking forward to going there for lunch soon!

When this place first opened it was great. The sandwiches were piled high, the chicken soup was fresh and loaded with chicken, breakfast was so filling you would skip lunch. But then… It all went downhill. Sandwiches are no better than any deli sandwich. The procuitto in my «flagship» hero wad salty(the salt was being released from the meat) which is a sign of old meat. We also saw a busboy use a rag to wipe down trays, the door on the garbage receptacle and a table… the SAME rag. Yeah, no thanks.

This place is gross. First of all, the colors and lighting are all wrong. I felt like I was in a high school or hospital cafeteria. I ordered an omelet. It took pretty long considering I was the only one in there at the time. Then I ordered an iced coffee. They are clearly too cheap to purchase iced coffee cups, so it was served in a pepsi paper cup. Classy. As I walked out, I noticed the fruit was all moldy. Who knows how long it had been sitting there. My omelet tasted fake. Probably egg beaters and not real eggs. The bacon was microwaved so it was dry. It was not cheap either. A platter with toast and home fries cost me about $ 8 bucks. I can get a delicious, fresh omelet at my work cafeteria for under $ 4. I’d rather go to McDonald’s.

When my coworker(and friend) comes back from lunch and says to me… «You have to try this place, „the best chicken cutlet parm I have ever had,“ I know I have to go there… He’s the person who turned me on to Roast in Melville. I walked into a huge deli with multiple food stations on one side and ample seating on the other side of the wall so you do not have to hear the noise from all the people waiting to get their food. They had a soup, salad and deli meats. I walked right to the hot food to see the chicken cutlet parm. They had meatballs, mac & cheese, beer battered catfish and a myriad of other hot foods(that you would expect to see at a deli like this.) Basically, there is something for everyone. Every time I stopped to look the person(s) behind the counter asked if I had any questions. I walked down a bit further to the section to order the food and told the young gentlemen(who greeted me with a smile) what I wanted. „A small chicken cutlet parm hero.“ He explained that there is no large or small hero but perhaps I would like it on a roll. Perfect. Next stop was the cashier who smiled at me, took my ticket and rang up the sale. „Go sit“ she said… I will find you and bring you the food.» Wow, what service during a lunchtime rush… The sandwich was delicious!!! There was plenty of tender,(not heavily breaded or overly thick chicken,) with sauce and cheese. This place is clean, very bright from all the windows, three large TVs and even a fireplace. They also do catering and have an office in the back where you can set up a function. I look forward to my future visits here to try some of the many of their home cooked(specialty) items offered. I was little surprised about some of the other reviews I read and will definitely comment on the entire experience from future meals here.
