Been a few years since I’ve stopped into cravings for lunch so I thought id give it another chance. Bad decision. Over priced as ever, which I guess I’m okay with as long as the food matches the price. This it does not. The driest turkey sandwich I’ve ever had, and it was smothered in mayo. The sandwich literally came with mayo turkey and cheese. I asked for some tomato, they tell me an extra charge. Are you serious? Already a $ 10 sandwich, now an extra charge. And the whole wheat roll was extremely stale. I forced myself to choke down half the sandwich because I was starving. Gave the other half to the birds. Never again.

$ 10($ 9.50) for a tuna salad hero. The pricing is ridiculous. If you’ve the money to spend the food is good. It’s just over priced.

From sandwiches, to pizza, to baked goods everything is homemade and beyond delicious! Such a clean store too with very friendly staff!

Great place for lunch! I work nearby and love coming here. Good family place and courteous guys behind the counter, just… a bit pricey at times, but I guess you get what you pay for. Ask for Johnny or Al.

Valentine’s night, snowing cold no way we wanted to go out and fight the restaurant crowds. My wife suggested we order from Cravings and we saw on their website they deliver. Problem solved. Complete dinners soup or salad, main course and 2 sides and dessert were $ 13.99. I had the crab cake and my wife had chicken franches. Both generous portions and very tasty delivered right to our door.

Food is good. A little pricey for what it is but always happy with what I get. They also have great prices on Boars Head cold cuts if you need to order to bring home.

Best place ever the food is amazing but I would never go to the salad bar because you never know if people sneeze or cough on it

This place sucks like I don’t know what the subs are ok and if you buy one they make you pay for a board or you can return it they probably don’t clean them. It’s ok but bad

Really great food. A lot of neat things, especially if your bringing food to a party. A little pricey.

I dont know how this place maintains good reviews at all. We stopped by here because my friend had seen it several times and thought it might be good. We should have been tipped off by how empty it was. I had the chicken parm dinner special and was quite unhappy when the guy just grabbed some food and stuck it in the microwave… didnt know thats what i was getting in to. 2 people ordered the eggplant parm dinner special and it was nothing but salt. They even had to ask to have it re-microwaved because it was not warm enough at first. The guys then made it too hot. Overall would not go back here again.

Passed by this place several times, decided to finally check it out on a whim. We pulled into the parking lot and thought the place was out of business. Not a single car in the lot. From the outside it looked completely dark. Had the wife scout it out before debarkation. Amazingly enough the door opened! The rest of us got out of the car and entered. Place was dead, not a customer in sight. Felt like a scene out of I Am Legend. We went to the deli counter, which featured lots of pre-made meals. We took a risk and ordered egg plant, chicken parm, and pasta. After our orders were in, we had the pleasure of being introduced to their executive chef, Chef Mic! As in Microwave! Needless to say everything was rather horrible. I felt robbed. Can’t believe I actually paid money for that. Anyhow, I suppose I can’t blame anyone but myself. You see, I broke the three cardinal rules: 1) If the parking lot is empty, keep driving 2) If the place is empty, run away, fast. 3) Check Unilocal! PS: The«one star» I gave them was for honesty; this place makes no attempt to hide the fact that their garbage is reheated in a microwave.

The Cotton Tail Road is a huge favorite around my office. The Allison Drive, Grace Street, and Kings Court also have fans but not nearly as many. The garlic knots are forgettable. Overall a great lunch spot that deserves 4 stars just for stocking Italian Nutella and Shaq’s soda.

Wow just popped into Cravings for the first time for lunch. Wow this isn’t a deli it’s an Italian wonderland. Their deli is over the top with the most appetizing food. I Had a beef pinwheel and broiled chicken & rice. Very tasty. The food looks so good I decided to get dinner and tomorrow’s lunch as well. The staff is really helpful in guiding me what to get according to my taste. Cravings rocks. Can’t wait to come back

So this place has a lot of options. There is a place to order smoothies, wraps, sandwiches, prepared foods and salads. The salad bar in my opinion is lame. There is an area for fruits and some vegetables but nothing I haven’t seen before. Pretty unimpressive. There are several blackboards with sandwich and wrap options. I got a small container of chick peas and it cost me eight bucks. Seriously, eight dollars for about six ounces. This place is clearly clean and again has a lot of options for lunch but is RIDICULOUSLY overpriced. The cashier was on the phone when I was trying to get checked out. Literally stood there talking on the phone while I was trying to pay. I kid you not. Entrance is also not very welcoming for first timers who aren’t sure how to maneuver around, you sort of walk in right into the check out. It’s awkward, I don’t know. Won’t be back simply because it’s too expensive.

I checked out Cravinngs today for lunch and liked it a lot. It is like a deli/grocery store/restaurant all in one. They have a huge glass display case with a variety of foods. A lot of premade Italian dishes that you can take home to make for dinner. I ordered a wrap which was ok. I also got some fruit from the salad bar. They also have pizza, fresh meat, pastas, sandwiches and desserts. Great setup and a good spot for lunch. It ended up being a bit pricey though($ 15 for a wrap, a little bit of fruit from their salad bar and a tiny 2 bite carrot cake).

This is my first Unilocal review, but I just couldn’t let Cravings go without more recognition. Eleven reviews is far too few for a deli/market of this quality. Think the best parts of Whole Foods café-style counters. The pizza looks light years ahead, the angus burgers were calling my name, and the desserts are a perfect microcosm of Long Island bakery bests. My group’s selections included a freshly made veggie omelet wrap(yes they do breakfast amazingly), one chicken and one pork/beef meatball, beautifully grilled veggies, a couple salads from the top top shelf salad bar, a delicious pesto pine nut capellini, an apple-berry muffin(from their selection of 20 muffins), some diet Boylan sodas and more classic NY bakery cookies than I care to admit. This isn’t a restaurant, the cashier is set up like a market and it’s plastic silverware at a small group of tables. But for casual dining and takeout, I seriously doubt anything in the area can beat Cravings.

I work down the road so this place is a fav because of its consistently yummy food! Just finished a veggie egg white omelet wrap for lunch but their selection of hot foods and specialty sandwiches is great as well. These guys handle picky requests with ease and since I work with an office filled with picky neurotics, grabbing lunch here suits their needs. Imagine lots of «make sure the roast beef is pink» to «only ciabatta bread toasted then pressed» types of requests. Sure enough, the crew at cravings never give me attitude and always deliver. Which is more than I can say for the horrid Coliseum down the road.

I like this place. Over the past few years, I had many lunches from Cravings. They have a wide variety of choices and the quality seems very good. I like their chicken meatballs on a roll with tomato sauce, seafood salad(which has suremi, shrimp and scallops mixed in) on a wrap, and the salad bar. You can sit and eat there but I never have. Not just another Long Island deli. They also do catering and gift baskets(which I also ordered from them once). Good choices, good quick service, good quality food, clean, large portions. Give it a go.
