Extra Space Storage

I just signed up recently and the staff was very helpful and facility seems very clean. I was given a personal tour and been thoroughly walked through my contract/​agreement. However, you do have to ask the right questions to fully understand what you’ll be paying.
Location is convenient, which is right off the LIE, and has different outlets around the building for you to remove/​store your items conveniently.
FYI:
1. You’re promo rate will be raised after several months. Ask what are all the available promotions to determine which one suits you. If you prepay for the entire year, you can lock in your promo rate.
2. Although, the second floor may be a bit inconvenient, the 2^nd floor storages are less expensive than first floors.
3. You do have to pay additional a month for insurance.
4. It was my first time renting a storage and I didn’t know you needed to bring a lock upon signing. If not, you can purchase one at the management office.
