A very nice hotel. Great full breakfast. Big Tvs. Suites available. It’s been remodeled, so the carpet, art, and fixtures are all attractive. The fitness center is good, and the pool and hot tub area are very pleasant. One of my favorites!!!

Wet paint and plastic tarps throughout. A no smoking room that reeks of cigarettes. Dirty comforters and holes insheets. $ 40 a night death trap motel amenities for $ 180 a night…

My dealings with the Geena(the sales manager) has always been pleasant. I was impressed with its spacious suites. Along with the breakfast & dinner offered for free.

Smokey room 211, under construction hotel, I can deal workout amenities but the thought of walking up smelling like smoke is killing me.

Nice, clean place, rooms are great and clean. I did pest control on summer during college so I know to check the bed for bugs, all clear here. They serve dinner for free daily and it actually is pretty good. They also have wine, miller lites and ying lagers for free too with dinner. They also have breakfast daily that is pretty good.

Honestly the stay at the hotel was very nice. The breakfast was good the pool was clean and the staff was friendly. The issue that I ran into was that the guest privacy isn’t really private. My bill was left half way under my door and someone took my information. I received a phone call in my room stating that there was a computer issue and that they needed to confirm the information that I had given. Since the call came from inside the hotel I didn’t see an issue. When I spoke to Rose she told me that the front desk did not call and that I should cancel my credit card. However the front desk did inform me that this happened a few weeks ago. My major concern is that this is not the first time this happened at the hotel yet they didn’t have any thing posted to warn the incoming guest. Again the phone call came from INSIDETHEHOTEL and they have no way to track it. I know that things happen but this could have been avoided. GUESTBEWARE

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for a wedding we were attending in Bethpage this past weekend. It was an all around enjoyable experience. Our room(King 1 bedroom suite) was a nice size, very clean, and comfortable. The hotel grounds were well-kept and the hallways had a nice fresh scent. Plenty of parking, as well. There isn’t much in the area as far as dining out, but there are plenty of fast food options, shopping centers & convenience stores.

+ things about the hotel– Nice size suite style rooms, with kitchen and some cooking supplies. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Indoor gym too that i didn’t use Major perk they allow dogs but there is a one time $ 150 fee to keep them at the hotel Hotel offers free hot breakfast and dinner Mon-Thurs The lobby makes you feel like your in ski lodge-especially because I was there during a blizzard. Downside-but it was more to my situation – they don’t use pet friendly salt on their grounds and it injured my dogs paws and cost me a hundred dollar plus vet bill.

After staying in a few other LI hotels recently, I can safely say this place is pretty rad. Upon entrance, it feels like you’ve walked into an upstate lodge. It feels warm, homey and is decorated well. Check-in took no longer than 4 minutes and we were off to our room. Passed by a small work out area and a small indoor pool on the way to the elevator, which is cool if you’re a traveling gym rat or need to entertain the little ones. The best part, and the entire reason I was there, was for the room. It wasn’t just a room, it was a nice 1-br suite. A mini kitchen, some couches and a TV and then the bedroom. Nice. If you need more than a late night rash pad, this is perfect. Sure, it’s no Vegas suite, but it happens to be tops for LI(for a spot not on the water). Need a room on LI? Stay her. The last hotel I stayed at cost double, was 1⁄3 the size and was filthy. How can I forget this fun fact… free breakfast… with tots!

We have stayed here the last 4 years with each time being in July. It usually is very good but this time we were very disappointed. First, I have never had a maid knocking on my door at 8:30 in the morning to see if she could clean my room. She told me I needed to put the do not disturb sign out. She doesn’t check her list for those checking out and appeared to just work her way down the hall. Twice I got woken up over that crap. You are supposed to get complimentary bottles of water and cookies. They weren’t in our room upon check in, yet they knocked twice and tried to come in, in the middle of the afternoon to give it to us. This again woke us up from a cat nap. We were out in the heat, and had 2 hours to catch some much needed sleep before our dinner party and 45 minutes in we were woken up to some guy trying to come in to the room. The food — horrible. Each weeknight you get dinner, and every morning is breakfast. I found it was better to just get a bagel there then actually eat the crap they put out. Hash browns or tater tots were clearly frozen and nuked. The eggs were watery like nobody’s business. Edit — Kudos to management. They actually monitor Unilocal and the manger has called my wife, mortified of my review. He remembered us by our motorcycles and let her know that he really wished she would have addressed these issues while there. In hindsight, I probably should have, but all of the issues were a culmination of the 5 days there and it would have been major nagging on our part to keep going back to complain. I am glad that he did call and we will continue to go there. I have bumped my rating up to 4 stars based on our past experiences and the way he has handled this.

1) 1st floor suite was reeking of smoke. They were not surprised when I called and complained. They suggested I come down for some ‘spray’ and also offered a hepa filter. Neither helped much. 2) each night they host a dinner. Food was poor at best. Beer they offered was bad… both taps couldn’t be used without %90 foam and one night the taps were wrong. Miller Lite was attached to a Lager and a Lager was on the Lite tap. 3) no bar

Enjoyed our stay. Great staff and comfortable, clean rooms. Great heated pools and exercise rooms. Affordable prices. Only down side: At night the air smelled faintly of cigarettes.

I have stayed here three times and enjoyed myself every time. It is a very clean hotel as are the rooms. The staff, especially Rose at the front desk, are all very pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast and dinner(only Mon — Thurs) is a nice touch. It saves money and you don’t have to leave the hotel. Room service isn’t available, but you can walk across the parking lot to the Hilton Garden Inn next door where they have a full dinning room and bar. Since each room comes with a kitchen with everything but an oven, I bring some food items from home with me.(HINT: Take a few pieces of fruit and a yogurt cup at breakfast and stash it in your frig for a midnight snack).

Very good experience. Front desk people are extra friendly. Service is great. Free breakfast(omelet is da bomb) and dinner(did not try it though). Convenient location just off 495. Highly recommend for business travelers. Only con — Internet connection seemed flaky and slow, but hey, it’s free!

Homewood suites is very clean, and has a great location. It is just off of the LIE, but not so close that you get the noise and traffic. It is very close to many restaurants and services. The rooms are good size and well appointed. The staff is knowledgeable about the local area, friendly, professional and courteous.

First impressions are key… and this one is a winner. I was looking for a hotel for my overnight guests for my wedding. This place is awesome! Their 2 bedroom suites are huge and the hotel itself is very cozy, clean, warm and ideal for my guests. Front desk is very pleasant to deal with. I haven’t actually stayed the night, but will do so this coming fall, so I will write a follow up review once I have actually had my stay. If you’re considering booking this hotel for your wedding guests there are a few things you should know: #1 their food options are VERY limited… they do offer free breakfast and dinner Mon-Thur, but there is no room service and they can’t cater a morning after breakfast for your guests if thats the route you want to take. You will have to use an outside caterer for that. In my case scenario — I will stay the the homewood suites but have my breakfast at the neighboring Garden Inn. The only reason I am not having all my guests stay there is because #1 they dont have the same HUGE suites as homewood! Good Luck!
