Lowes Home Improvement Store

My boyfriends father purchased a new stove for us and we were given a delivery estimate of «late in the week.» Late in the week turned in Sunday. The stove arrived on Sunday, but the delivery guys did not even bother knocking on the door, they instead walked around the building yelling «Stove Delivery» disturbing my neighbors. The stove that was delivered was damaged. We went to the store and looked at the floor model, decided to buy that one instead. They gave us a very hard time about working with a delivery date we could do. With the stove being damaged upon delivery I feel they should have made more of an effort to accommodate us, not the other way around. The delivery was set to be done BY 3pm on Thursday. Wednesday night we received a phone call saying it would be done between 3−5pm, causing me to be late to work. Thursday rolls around and we are told the stove won’t be delivered until even later than that. This forced us to have to reschedule the delivery for Friday, again leaving us with no stove. This lack of concern for customer schedules is completely beyond belief. I would not recommend dealing with them for purchases on any big appliances. Stick to buying paint.

The Lowe’s itself is fine, but unimpressed with the assistance. Asked a staff member for help, was told to hold on a minute, and then she disappeared. Then when I finally found what I needed on my own, I was in need of assistance in reaching something far above my grasp. Searched the area aisles for a staff member and found no one. Can’t say this would be the first place I’d return for my home needs.

We love this store and specially Cathy at the garden center who helped us with her great knowledge about plant and trees. She helped us choose right plants according to our need & even went the extra mile loading the trees in our truck. Now I will never shop any where else but Plainville lows.

I have to agree with Byron, this lowes is very clean.
There seams to be a difference in the feel of lowes vs Home depot in that respect.
People are very friendly and helpful.
I always find what I need and I like the quality and brands stocked here.
It’s nice when you are in a store this size and you do not feel overwhelmed.

Its a Lowes. The same as the rest, but there are a few differences. It seems cleaner than the others. Also the employees are nicer and more helpful. The parking lot is well lit and safe in the evening. Its Lowes.
