Hubby and I went into Sleepy’s in Plaistow, NH today with the intent of evaluating options for buying a new king size adjustable bed. Robert, our salesman, was, in my opinion condescending and didn’t understand our needs. Furthermore, he expected us to «lie down» on their sample pillows & beds without any protective covers … I had to request one, and rip them off the roll myself! Several of the mattresses he had us test had noticeable stains on them, albeit very likely from drinks or items people brought into the store — but I said to him that these stained mattresses make the store look really bad! Even when I pointed out the stains to him, he had no comment… The LASTSTRAW was when Robert suggested we try another mattress, and there was a LONGBLACKHAIR right where I would have lied. GROSS! I said don’t you have people to CLEAN these mattress at night? He said«nope»… Not for nothing — but there was nobody else in the store when we walked in. There is no reason there should be someone else’s hair on the mattresses. Ever hear of of a hand held vacuum? Or at the very least, a lint roller! End of story.. . we were done. I will go back to the SLEEPNUMBERSTORE where the service we received was impeccable, and the mattresses we tried had covers and I didn’t have to put my own pillow cover on!

Went into sleepys today, intentions on buying a bed then an there! Well I was wrong and very disappointed. The man working was SO rude and was just miserable, didn’t give me the time of day. Get a new job if you don’t like yours! My money will definitely be going else where. Where they actually care about there customers!
