I’m 63. I do cardio almost every day. Strength training was harder to ‘buy into’, until I couldn’t easily manage the subwaysteps of NYC. I also had difficulty getting up from the guest blow-up bed on the floor. Then I became familiar with ActiveRx in Plano, TX. and my life now includes 3x/week strength training, and I haven’t looked back. Wonderful small classes taught by trained PT’s…who can modify exercises/equipment/weights based on YOUR current ability. I joined 6 months ago, and recommend it to anyone who has avoided strength training up until now. They also offer rehab.
