Beyond Clips

Kacie’s been cutting my hair for a few years now & does an excellent job at a very reasonable price. I’ve recently started getting all-​over color as well & have been very pleased. Would recommend an appointment, especially during peak times, but they take walk-​ins too. My daughters have also seen Bee & received excellent cuts. Overall, highly recommend!

It’s quick and skilled. Nice haircut. Vietnam. Cheap.
I asked for cutting to below the shoulder and flat end. It looks good. I feel much cleaner and more professional now.
I called before I went there. Appointment is not required but it would be better to make one.
Much quicker than I expected. I would come back next time.

Kacie is an amazing stylist! I have been to many places and had to fake it and say «I like it» when I really didn’t. She is very nice and takes her time. She cuts my hair exactly the length that I wanted and offered suggestions as well. I will definitely be back!

Run of the mill unisex salon that perhaps could use a little more TLC in detailed upkeep.
More specifically I contacted Kacie based on Unilocal reviews and she was able to book an appointment for me that same day, later in the evening.
Immediately Kacie lived up to the other reviews and made me feel very comfortable. I was planning to get my hair cut shorter than I think I ever have before. She was confident and spoke as well as looked the part of someone who cared about her hair and enjoys her job.
After a shampoo and the cut she shared some tips about short hair with me and made me very happy with my choice to make the appointment. I will defiantly return and likely will bring my two sons.

Great place to get a haircut. Kacy is by far the best stylist. Chris, Lee and Be are also very good. I would avoid getting haircuts from any of the new hires, especially the new guy and girl. Other than that, you won’t find any other place that offers quality haircuts for the price. I have been a regular for over 3 years and won’t stop anytime soon.

My BF has been getting his haircuts from Kacie since he moved here almost 3 years ago. I had to get my hair done before Christmas and with time constraints I couldn’t get it done with my stylist back in Houston. BF made an appointment with Kacie for me and I’m happy that I found a stylist here now!
I wanted to dye my hair back to my original color and needed a haircut. Kacie was really sweet and easy to talk to and I was surprised how much she knew about me. She made good recommendations but always let me make up my own mind. My haircut, haircolor, and style was $ 95 before tip so I was happy!
I definitely come back to her for haircuts but I’m not really sure how she is with hair color. I would consult with her if you wanted a certain color melt or bayalage effect. But for the standard color, she’s a keeper.
They accept walk in’s but better to make an appointment to get who you want.

Gave me one of the worst haircuts I have had in a long time. Now I will look stupid for an important Interview. Not even sure if the person who cut my hair was Qualified or certified. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I have been coming here for 2 years now, and the quality of the haircuts are very consistent and cheap ($ 13 + 7 dollar tip). Though the haircuts are exceptional and fair priced, I can not give 5 stars because of a particular hair stylist who I have heard speak negatively about customers (professionalism as a whole is an aspect which I recognize and respect). Not only does he have an ill mouth but he seems to have a chip on his shoulder because I prefer another hair stylist over him. Despite his attitude or presence I will come for bee again and again because she is attentive, and takes her time.

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now for haircuts when I feel like switching it up, as I usually trim my own hair. My daughter won’t let me touch hers though so she also gets hers cut here. We both have always had great experiences at Beyond Clips. But today — TODAY!!! — I finally decided to try them for highlights which I haven’t had in years. OMG do I hate myself for not doing it sooner! Kacie did an amazing job! I got a base color just one shade lighter than my current, and dark blonde highlights (gotta tame those pesky grays). AH-​MA-​ZING! And then she took care of my botched haircut (see «I trim my own hair» line above) & gave me a great style while trying her best to give me some lift (I have flat, fine, thin grandma-​like hair). And the price was very reasonable — for base color, highlights, cut & style it was $ 90. I did feel bad that I had to pay by credit because they get charged a fee so I’ll be sure to bring cash or debit next time when I come in. Who needs Toni & Guy when you have Beyond Clips!!! Thanks guys for being awesome at your job!

Best haircut ever! I continue to go back because they really do great work. Lee, Kacie and Bee are very hard working and they always take the extra time to be sure I get the haircut that I want. You won’t be disappointed if you give this place a try.

A great salon, they really take their time to make sure you get good service. Not as fast as some chain salons, but the quality of cut or dye is so much better that the extra time is worth it. Not usually a long wait, and they take appointments. My favorite thing is that they do on scalp bleach (safely!), which most places don’t.

When I was in Plano, Beyond Clips was my first choice for hair cuts. Bee (I think thats what her name was) is exceptional. I would highly recommend it.

I usually come here and get a haircut with Kacie, but I tried to make an appointment today and nobody ever picked up. So, I walked in to make an appointment. I got my haircut from a lady with short hair (I forgot her name). She was very easy to talk to and was very nice. The haircut was okay, but super cheap ($ 18 and I have super long hair), so the quality matched the price. I’ve been coming here for 2 years now, and I don’t think I can find another salon as inexpensive as Beyond Clips.

I have been going to this saloon for about five months and have had nothing but great experiences from the customer service to the quality of the haircuts from all the ladies, especially Kacie.
I must warn you to STAY AWAY FROM CHRIS. He did not listen to me and left a sloppy and uneven haircut. It wasn’t just not the right style but he left chunks of hair that were longer than the others. There’s no excuse to this other than just sloppy and unprofessional work. When I kindly asked him to remove a little bit of volume and keep the length on the sides he took the buzzer and a comb, and just removed the length of the hair in a rushed and pissed off way. I could not have been more clear when I said to just remove the volume and keep the length. Now I’m stuck with a bad haircut that reminds me of what a horrible job Chris did.
What’s worse is that I truly liked enjoyed going to this hair saloon but Chris might have ruined it for me and my girlfriend

I have been going here for over a year now. I go once a week for a blow out. Excellent customer service. Everyone is so friendly.

I have been here a couple times for hair cuts. I know people can be very biased based on whether they like their haircuts or not, but I feel like overall, Beyond Clips does a good job giving you a haircut that looks presentable.
Since I’m a guy, the options I have for haircuts are a bit more limited. It is even more limited when your parents/​sister believe in the «no hair is best hair» philosophy so ever other haircut I get feels like I put my head through a lawnmower. Anyways, I am pretty picky about my haircuts, and to be honest, I usually don’t like them for at least a week after I receive the cut (remember the 4 stages of haircuts: 1. hatred, 2. regret, 3. sadness, 4. acceptance). After a week or two tho, i feel like the haircut grows on me (no pun intended), and then I find myself more at peace.
Service wise, this place has some really nice ladies working. Everyone is pretty willing to chat with you and don’t seem too nosy. Most of the time they seem like they know what they are doing. My mom and sister have also gotten haircuts here, both of whom have really enjoyed the experience.

Me and my wife have been going to this saloon for 10 months now. Every time we are very happy with the haircuts. My wife usually get layered trim while I go with regular men’s cut for $ 13. Very good value for the price and their service is good. Chris is a very good hair stylist.
Sometimes if I want to treat myself I go for the VIP Package which includes scalp and facial massage with the mint shampoo VERY relaxing!

Ever since I moved to McKinney a few months ago, I’ve been going to this place for my haircut. I just can’t trust American haircut places. For some reason they all want me to have a buzz cut. Now, I’m asian so I need someone who understands how asian hair grows and how to cut it as well. You just can’t explain that to a Supercut person.
I Unilocaled this place, had good reviews so I tried it. Kacie cut my hair and it was just right! She was kind and friendly and most importantly, attentive and caring. I go to her about every 3 weeks for the last 4 months now. She always remembers my last haircut and what she did and all the stories I have exchanged with her and the conversation is very natural.
I definitely recommend coming here BC of the friendly atmosphere and great price. $ 13 for a men’s cut? I gladly tip after their great customer service!

I love my hair cut. Kacie was very attentive and I was in and out within an half an hour. She took time to do touch ups after the hair was dried and seemed to pay attention to detail. I played much less than my last haircut and I like this one much better. I definitely recommend this place.

I had this place bookmarked on Unilocal for quite a while as a potential place to go for my next haircut. I went on a Friday night and the stylists were all with customers, a good sign, but I didn’t have to wait long. Bee (I think that was her name) cut my hair and she did a fantastic job! I showed her a picture on my phone of what I wanted and she analyzed it and walked me through what she was going to do. Then she put a lot of effort into my haircut and it turned out great. It was $ 20 for the cut and style — a great deal for the result! I would definitely return.
