My husband told me this place closed down. Am I a jerk to say that makes me happy? This place was so bad, they don’t deserve to be in business. We went once, bad experience. Gave it another shot since it’s the closest pizza place to our house… and what a mistake that was. It was dirty, the staff was rude, and it was BYOB which was nice. until he handed me a wine glass with a lipstick mark on it. Great. And finally, the food was garbage. If this place is closed… Good riddance.

I live pretty close so I was hoping this place would be good. I’ve gotten spinach calzones to take home a couple times. Just as good as the Café Roma at Spring Creek and 75. But unfortunately the pizza — particularly sausage– I found awful, barely edible.

Disappointing all around. Chicken parm is pathetic. Pizzas bland. Staff is impatient.

Just had some pizza from here. The worst pizza I have ever tasted. Avoid this place, it is terrible. Soggy paper thin crust and bad tasting pizza sauce. Just terrible. You can get better pizza at a school cafeteria.

Went there tonight to use a Groupon. When we arrived we were told the new owner is not honoring the Groupon but offered $ 10(the price paid for the Groupon, less than the value) to use towards something on the menu. The place smelled and was empty(6pm on a Saturday) so I was turned off anyway. We left and went to dinner elsewhere. Very disappointed.

I bought a Groupon, and my boyfriend and I decided to try this place for dinner today. We arrived around 5pm on a Sunday, and the place was empty. No big deal, it was early. However, the tables and seats had crumbs all over them from the last customers, which was pretty unacceptable considering there was no customers there. The fountain drink machine was leaking water everywhere(splattering it on the ground and into the drain off area) which was kind of gross since I wanted water. They had paper plates, which is fine, but I just expected something a little more put together for a family owned pizza place. We ordered a large Margarita pizza and the Antipasto salad. Supposedly the salads come with garlic bread, which never came. The antipasto salad was just rolled up, sliced deli meat on top of iceberg lettuce. Some of the leaves of lettuce had fridge burn(slimy and wilty), but hey it happens. I shrugged that off. The pizza came, and the tomatoes on the Margarita pizza were cut too thick that the water in the tomatoes wasn’t allowed to fully evaporated, so the center of the pizza was a mushy mess. The crust was tasty and thin, but it was too bad the tomatoes made all the toppings run off. If I HAD to come back. I’d try something else, but this place isn’t worth traveling over 10 min for. Nice staff, not so clean eating area, sub-par food. I’ll pass :/

Usually where we go for pizza. There pizza is great, but is for the most part classic pizza flavors. What makes it good is that they use some of the best ingredients around. If you want a good pizza this is better than any chain restaurant, but if you want an unusual pizza find somewhere else!

We purchased a Groupon to eat here. I was less than impressed. I am actually surprised at the reviews on here. I’ll put it this way: this may actually be the exact opposite of NY style pizza. I’m not sure that there is one thing similar other than there is a crust with toppings. This place was very dirty. There were two tables that had not been cleaned from customers that had been eating there, and we were the only people in the restaurant. We went to order: tried ordering cannolis — they were out, tried ordering cheesecake — they were out, tried ordering pepsi — they were out of it in a can… but they had it in their fountain drinks, sweet! We went to get our drinks. I don’t know what is up with the drink dispenser but it looked disgusting. Literally, water was just dripping out of the front like someone had turned a faucet on. The side of the machine had bowls underneath it to catch, I guess, a leak that was all dried up and crusty looking. The straws and salt/pepper shakers were over there as well. Probably had never been cleaned, just dusty and dirty. Gross. Maybe delivery is a better option so you don’t see all of this stuff. Eww! We ordered two cesar salads, two 10″ pizzas and an order of spaghetti. The spaghetti was so mushy it almost just fell apart in your mouth, kinda like canned spaghetti. The pizza actually looked really good when they came out but the flavors were mediocre. Then after a while the crust just got soggy, like it couldn’t hold up to what was on top, similar to wet bread. Um, no thank you. Over all, one of the worst food experiences. I realize they were busy potentially from the Groupon, but this was horrible. I am not a big fan of chain restaurants at all, but I would gladly eat a hot Pappa Johns Pizza over this any day… even a Little Cesars would do the trick. Oh, by the way. We purchased a $ 20 groupon for $ 10. Our meal at the restaurant after the Groupon was $ 17 and some change. So total we paid approx $ 27…def not worth the money.

My wife and I had their pizza the other night. It was Great! The dough, the ingredients, the sauce were all very fresh and way better than your typical pizza chain. Very nice family run business. I also had the cannoli which was excellent. A delicious crispy shell with a wonderful cream filling. My only complaint on tbe cannoli was the chocolate sauce seemed a little too generic and it would have been perfection with a higher end chocolate sauce. I will certainly be going there again soon.

My girlfriend and I tried this restaurant based on the reviews on this site and on Yahoo. One of the biggest mistakes of our lives. If this is what the other reviewers call good food, then they wouldn’t know good food if it was thrown in their faces. We have never had food as bland as what we purchased at Broadway. Also, as I’m typing this, my stomach is flipping and I’m left to wonder if what I ate won’t be in my stomach in the next few minutes. If you’re looking for good pizza in Allen and Plano, you’re better off with Pane Vino, Grimaldi’s, or Rosati’s.
