What a rip. Ordered delivery and took onion off and added green olive to the XL The King Pizza… upcharge for the swap. Also ordered the manager’s special pizza with only 3 items that was supposed to be $ 9.99 but they said their menu on line was wrong and its the same price as The King. So what was supposed to be $ 18.49 + 9.99($ 28.48) was $ 38+ dollars… One star because I didn’t want people to think I forgot to rate this place. Not the first time to eat at this place but 1st time for delivery. 45 minutes at 7 pm on a Thursday?

Arrived at 6:10 on a Friday night. No clean wine glasses or silverware available. The display case contained salads that looked like they had been there forever. Nonetheless we ordered a Greek salad and chicken Parmesan. At 6:40, our food had not arrived so I went to check on it… They lost the order… again! They immediately made us a salad and said the chicken would be out in a minute. The chicken Parmesan didn’t arrive until 20 minutes later. We are so done with this place. They started off great but the service and cleanliness have gone down hill so much that we’ve left here angry the past few times. What a disappointment. By the way… it is now 7:00 and still no clean wine glasses

So I came back on a similar Friday night as my previous 2-star review and I wanted to update my review a little. As far as food, we had the Ralphie’s, BBQ, and Hawaiian pizza which were all good! Regarding service, it was soooo much better this time. Pizza came out in a reasonable time, one of the employees offered to get us napkins and a to-go box. AND we actually got a receipt! Noise level was pretty good. Would still consider it loud, but at least I could hear my brother and dad talking. Overall, good place to have a casual yet classy dinner out with the fam(or with a significant other ;))

Do not go here. This Palio’s is not like the others. We love the one at Park and Preston in Plano. But this one seems to be doing its own thing and not in a good way. There’s a reason it has so few stars on Unilocal compared to the other Palio’s. Here, our BAKED pasta arrabiatia took nearly 30 minutes(!) to arrive, and ITWASNOTBAKED. I don’t mean it was undercooked, I mean it was totally different from what the menu says. Normally, this is baked in a dish, much like lasagna — everything mixed together with sauce, topped with more sauce plus cheese, and baked to a nice browned topping. It’s pretty tasty at the other Palio’s! But alas, THATWASNOTTHIS. Instead, it was a pile of totally unsauced pasta, with the various ingredients just plopped on top — not mixed together or anything. So, in one spot, a small pile of sausage pieces. Next to it, a small pile of tomato pieces. Elsewhere, a small pile of mushrooms. And so on. It reminded me of the way Cobb salads are usually served. Plus, except for the piping hot, absolutely plain and overcooked pasta, none of these items were hot. And then some sauce plopped on top. No cheese at all. A very unappetizing presentation, and the dish itself was extremely underwhelming even after we tried to mix stuff together ourselves. But after a 30-minute wait, we weren’t about to send it back. My husband is diabetic and had already gotten his shot for the meal — we had to work with what they gave us. Looking back, I guess we shoulda known. As we were waiting to order, the guy in front of us picked up his to-go cheesecake, which the menu promises will have a strawberry, chocolate or caramel sauce. He inquired about the total absence of sauce, asked if they had ANY sauces — «No» says the disengaged and glacial cashier — and that was that. No apology, no nuthin.

Ordered a large pizza and greek salad. Food OK but my issue is the portion sizes. Very small«large» pizza at a premium price. Very disappointed in the size of salad as well. 2 ppl still hungry. With delivery and tip this meal cost over $ 32. Too much for a snack.

Used to love their pizza, not anymore. Not sure what they changed but the last 3 times we’ve ordered from there it has not been as good. We didn’t even finish it. The quality of the cheese has changed, the sauce. Not planning to go back.

I’d like to review the food but unfortunately we were never served so I guess that makes this review based solely on customer service. My family walked into this restaurant on 2⁄2 for dinner and not once were we greeted or asked if we could be helped. One man was taking a phone order but the other was standing behind him texting and totally ignoring us. It’s not like the place was slammed, there were only two people in the entire restaurant. With so many pizza choices, I’d rather pay more money somewhere else than get terrible service. Thanks but no thanks.

I’m giving 2 stars based on my experience with delivery. I ordered 2 pizzas on a Wednesday night@ 6pm and pizzas were delivered around 7:15 and were warm. The small GF pizza’s crust was burnt around the edges, however«the King» pizza was very good, even though it was slightly warm. Overall the pizza was good, not great. I would advise dining in or taking out, NOT delivery. It takes way too long and your pizzas will be delivered warm at best.

Hugely disappointing! I ordered a gyro sandwich for $ 8 and got 4 whole slices of presliced, prepackaged grocery store meat. I took a picture because it really was had to believe. My daughter ordered a chicken ceasar salad for $ 9. Again in my opinion it was in a small bowl and had a very limited amount of chicken, however, lots of dressing. Don’t eat there. It’s worth the drive to go elsewhere. There are too many great restaurants nearby to waste a meal here. I’ll try to post the picture.

I ordered take out from Palio’s a few nights ago and it was great. I ordered a thin wheat crust with Italian sausage, pepperoni, purple onions, jalapeños, and diced tomatoes. They didn’t have diced tomatoes, so they cut up regular tomatoes for me. I also order a Caesar salad which was good. My experience was totally different from those listed below. Palio’s has always been great pizza and I’ve never had any issues with th wait staff or the quality of food. I’ll be back.

On a scale of Palios to 10, how was your pizza? Like they say… when pizza is good, it’s really good. When it’s bad, it’s still pretty good! Unfortunately, this place proves that wrong. It’s almost as if they want a bad rating. You have to wait way too long just for one pizza and when you get it, you’re just disappointed. The crust is insanely thin, like they’re trying to save dough or something. The flavor is okay, but not nearly as good as it should be given how much they charge you. Since the pizza was so thin, we ended up ordering some pasta as well because we were so hungry. The portion is pretty small, and the taste is just like pasta you could make at home. Now I’m a bad cook, and I can only make pasta and fried rice, but my pasta is probably a little better than what they serve here. I ended up having to go home and eat more because I was far from satisfied. It looks nice inside but that’s really their only positive aspect. Overpriced food and small portions. Just buy frozen pizza from the grocery store and make your own pasta instead of eating here.

This place is fast for call ahead pick-up(I havent used their delivery yet) and the staff is super nice, I just wish the pizza had been better? I am definitely open to trying them again(and I’ll update my review) but this time I got the Ralphie’s pizza and some cheese bread for my friend, toddler, and me. The Ralphie’s was tasty, but so over-sauced that the toppings literally fell off when I picked up the slice. It was a complete mess to try and eat(we all ended up using forks, and I hand-fed the toddler). The crust was really good, which is why I’m tempted to try something else from them, but it would have been nice to eat the pizza like, well, pizza. You know, with the toppings on the crust? The cheese bread was actually very tasty, and I ended up using it as a side for other meals for a few days(well priced and good portions). I definitely recommend adding this to your order! Honestly, these guys were great and I really wish my food experience had been better because I wanted to give them a stellar review. I’m just going to have to try them again sometime and update my review then!

I honestly like all Paleos pizza, this place in particular I like the large space and the décor. The only reason I took one star off is because the last two times I was here, the pizza was cooked a little more than I would have liked… I actually prefer the Fairview location as far as consistency, but nevertheless, it’s a great pizza chain… And I think what makes them exceptional is that they do not hold back on the toppings(one of my pet peeves). this locating is great for family, kids, and gatherings.

Why so many bad reviews? I’ve been here a few times with my fiancé and we really enjoyed it. The pizza is great, no complaints there. We also loved the wings and BYOB. The wings were baked instead of fried, really delicious. The service was also good. One of the employees accidentally dropped half of my pizza on the floor, no biggie, shit happens. So he gave me the half that he saved and made me another fresh whole pizza. We also got delivery from them one night. Ordered 4 personal pizzas and it was excellent.

What a bummer. We have never been to this particular location but are always pleased with the other locations we have visited. The food is always amazing and we love that it is BYOB, so I was really considering hosting a birthday dinner for my husband here and I just had a few questions before I booked the place. I went on their website which instructed me to send an email. I did, and received no response. So a few days later, I called and was told by the guy who answered the phone that he was basically unsure of the answers to my simple questions and would need to have the manager contact me. I waited a few more days and called back. The same exact thing, and no call back. I’m not going to waste my time tracking down someone to give them business. what a joke!

Katy and manager were very friendly on the phone when I asked about ingredients and allergens. They looked up every ingredient of every little thing to make sure the pizza was safe for me to eat. When we got to the restaurant they mentioned they also re-cleaned all of their gluten free surfaces as an extra precaution. In the end I got a gluten free crust, with a basic tomato sauce(I couldn’t eat the black pepper in their sauce), with Parmesan and fresh mozzarella(their regular mozzarella contains food starch which could be made from wheat or corn). Thank you Palios for making it possible to eat out safely and without anxiety!

Again a disappointment. We tried to this place yet another chance, but a paper thin ‘pizza’with barely any toppings is just not worth $ 21. Supreme artichoke, as you can see on the picture, had barely artichokes on it. Or anything else for that matter. It took over an hour to clever this

Why Palio’s: Branding looked appealing from the outside and despite what people are posting, previous coworkers spoke well of the brand. Plus it is close enough to my house.(And due to rain, I needed a reason to move my car to a hooded spot. Why not pizza?) I wanted pizza, but I wanted it to be fresh, flavorful and more full-bodied than regular Papa John’s, Domino’s or some other chain. I also just wanted to see if Palio’s is as good or bad as people make it seem. Called in my order, got quoted $ 16.33 for a large pizza with basil, pepperoni and garlic. Decided to go for it. Quoted 15 – 20 minutes. I left at 15 minutes, got there in 20 and waited another 15 minutes to actually get the pizza(after paying). INTERIOR: It’s clean, well-kept and smells amazing. Then again, you’re reading this from a chubby chick who is hungry and only had a muffin and popcorn earlier today.(Microwave popcorn … yuck. I’ll stick with Uptown’s Jackson’s Caramel.) No dirt on the floors, everything looked fresh. Everyone was working. The tables and chairs in the dining area were well kept, clean and comfortable. PIZZA: This is why I took off a star… I paid $ 16 for what would have been a medium — maybe even a small — pizza somewhere else. The crust was also too thin for my liking. The flavor was excellent, the taste great… the size and cost? Nah, not worth that much. I’ll probably try this place again but only for calzones. Quite disappointed. And they sliced the pizza up into these tiny squares. Didn’t get why they did that either. Pleasant employees, clean place, but not somewhere I’d go again for pizza.
