Had gone to Café Express in Houston, TX and loved it so my girlfriend and i decided to go to the one at Plano. Ambience was pretty good, We ordered Caesar salad and requested for extra dressing on the side. We were provided with a little portion of dressing on the side without any dressing on the salad itself. The employee at the counter was rude when asked for more dressing. Manager was eating randomly in the kitchen, which does not promote hygenic behavior. Bread sticks and other refiles ran out. We hope that better management replaces the current one at Plano location and maintain the brand name that café express has acquired with quality food and service.

I love the food! However at this location customer service need to be trained for proper service for people who are in hurry.

I’ve always had good experiences here at this location at the Shops of Legacy. I’ve also been to the one at Mockingbird station, but they’re all the same to me. I like coming here for lunch, but the only thing that bothers me is the parking; that can be hard to come by. It’s a nice open area with plenty of seating with glass windows everywhere. You order first, then pay, and they give you a pager when your order is ready. And you also serve yourself for drinks and a salad bar is available for extras if you want them in your salad. They also have grissini breadsticks if you like for your soup or just to snack on while you’re waiting. My favorite thing is get the combo meals, with either a salad, sandwich, and soup or just soup and salad and toasted bread. I usually will get the mixed salad and add some of the salad extras from the bar and the potato soup. I would most definitely come back again.

I’ve ordered from this locations multiple times for office meetings, hospital meals and just a quick snack for myself. Always fast and easy. Affordable prices and orders made the way you order them.

I stopped in here to get a cup of coffee and it was so watered down I couldn’t even drink it. I’ve had better coffee at McDonald’s. They had 2 containers of syrup neither of which were sugar free. They had stiva in the raw so I gave them 2 stars. It was also dirty and the lady working the cash register was pushy. I don’t know why she was push because I was the only person there besides a couple people on their laptops.

Don’t be intimidated by the long line during lunch, the staff works quickly. I’ve tried a lot here and the best for my money and stomach is the combo. The sandwiches are a good size(not just a half of a sandwich just a small Sammie on ciabatta) and a perfect portion of salad and soup. The chicken salad sandwich is what I normally get and its really good, not overly saturated w mayo or anything. Turkey chili is really good too. The pastas are not my favorite so I gave up on trying to agree with that. Good fresh food though for the most part. Check your order if you get to go. They tend to mess it up.

The food is good. And we have always had good customer service. Parking is a bit tricky, otherwise I would have given them 5 stars.

The food is good, but it’s nothing special. It’s a good place to go in a group because they have stuff everyone can eat. It’s a little pricey, but I do feel like they have large portions so it makes up for it. The French toast is by far the best thing on the menu.

Needed a little something to eat after a movie at the Angelika. This is a convenient place with counter service and plenty of space. I got the veggie burger which was a little bland. It had a nice serving of guacamole on top and I added salt and pepper but, probably wouldn’t order again. My companion got the veggie salad which was acceptable. All and all this is a place that you duck into when your blood sugar is low and you happen to be driving by, you work or live close by. Again nothing inherently wrong with or noteworthy here.

Horrible!!! Came in at 8:45PM and the place is a pig pen!!! Almost every table in the place has dishes still on them. This place needs attention by upper management ASAP! I eat here once a week and this makes me never want to come back here.

this place is nothing special. Salad, sandwiches, soups… quick bite to eat if you need it during lunch break. I got a turkey petite sandwich with turkey chili and caesar salad. Ask for dressing on the side, which normally I do I just completely forgot, but they drench the salad with dressing! The panini bread was kind of hard so I didn’t even eat it, the sandwich was okay. The turkey chili was pretty flavorful and tasty… but it’s really hard to mess up chili. This isn’t a very clean place, I mean we came at the end of the lunch rush and our table was so dirty. I forgot to check out the condiments bar that everyone was raving about!

I usually love this place but the last few visits have been simply horrible. Both my friend and I have food allergies. I ordered off the Gluten Free menu and they made me the glutten version. They also put shrimp in my friends Alfredo CHICKEN pasta. We told them about our allergies. Nearly had to rush my friend to the ER. Also, their molten chocolate lava cake is a cupcake with a teaspoon of cream cheese inside and gross frosting. It was very hard as well.

Good… The wife & I have been twice… a little pricey but both times the food was good… wife ordered up turkey burgers both visits and enjoyed… tender and not dried out… I did a Club Sandwich the 1st visit and a bowl of Chicken Tortilla soup and a Chicken Salad sammich for trip #2…soup was commendable and filling… I liked the chic salad sammich but should have just gone with the soup and some bread… quality was good

They need a to go order line Crazy that you preorder and even pay and have to wait in a line out the door for dining in customers when you ordered to go so you shouldn’t have to wait as long

I have been here probably 786 times and it is always delicious! I get the Greek salad w/grilled chicken every time and it is always SOSO good. And always a side of sweet potato fries which are also good! The sliced pickled carrots on the Greek salad are to die for! They are so good! I always go up to the condiment bar & grab more to put on. The sweet tea at this location always tastes like it’s been sitting out all day tho. Even after a fresh brew. Must be the brand they’re using. Besides that, everything is great! Love that their menu is so eclectic and large!

I like Café Express because there are tons of options and the condiments bar is the best thing ever. We don’t come here often but if there is ever a time when we cannot agree on a place to eat, Café Express is always a safe bet. And if you are starving there are bread sticks to snack on while you wait for your food to be served. Smart! My most recent visit was pretty meh. After we ordered I went to go fill up my cup with ice and the machine was not working or it was out of ice or something. So I went to tell the cashier and she was like«Oh!» and she scooped some ice in my cup for me. Nice! Buuuut she never did anything about the ice being out. So I just sat down and watched several customers push the ice dispenser with their cups and just stand there for a few seconds. None of them were as loud as me, apparently, because they didn’t go tell the employees. My food was fine. I tried something new, the jerk chicken sandwich. It was huge! Definitely enough for two people. There was like a full chicken in between the bun. I also tried the Black Currant tea, which I was not crazy about. I immediately dumped it(carefully, not to lose my precious ice) and got the decaf green tea. Much better! The Black Currant tea had a kind of artificial taste that threw me off. It tasted like I was drinking febreze. After we finished our meal I went to refill my cup for the road… no ice… annoying. Oh I almost forgot. It was fun to listen to the two employees talk loudly about some problem with her dog… nice touch…

I like Café Express. Only had salad from here. It was good but nothing to get super excited about. The portion size was average and for a salad because it doesn’t have too many toppings not one that keeps you full for hours. Tasted good though. I don’t like that they don’t have regular unsweet tea. Atmosphere is really good. Very casual. Parking can be a pain sometimes at this location because you typically have to park in the parking garage which isn’t right next to the restaurant.

This is one of my favorite salad spots. The service is generally quick, prices are moderate($ 9 for the grilled chicken salad). I also like the sandwiches but again, it isn’t Subway pricing. I would eat here more often if the price point was lower. I love the roasted garlic at the condiment bar. Sometimes the garlic is the motivator for a visit. I like to put in a take away order and have a glass of vino while I wait.

Better than I expected. We met some family here for lunch. My wife and I had never been here before and were not too hungry. We spilt a turkey club sandwich and fries. The gal at the register offered to put it on 2 plates for us. It was perfect! The program works. Order your food at the counter. Get notified with a pager when it is ready to pick up. Pretty simple. I like this place and will certainly be back soon.
