I have been treated by Dr, Marder for different foot issues over approximately 20 years. He has done 2 different surgeries on my feet and I have always found that he goes the«extra mile» before and after the surgical procedures, both of which have produced wonderful results. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing foot care.

Had ankle surgery last year. Doctor said I would be running in 4 weeks. It’s been 14 months and I’m still nowhere near able to put full weight on my ankle. The surgery that was supposed to take 2 hours took 4 because he brought in the wrong scope so we had to wait for another one to arrive. The wait times for the post op visits are super long. Dr Marder is super unorganized, not punctual, and apparently he doesn’t know what he’s doing. Top top it all, he also is refusing to release my XRays, MRIs and post op notes, so I can get a second opinion. STAYAWAY from him. He’s a likeable guy, but not the doctor you want for your foot or ankle.

My mom was seen there recently and had a great experience. She thought ahe would lose two toenails and it turned out Dr. Marder was able to repair the ingrown nail issue without drastic measures. She’s going back to have a monthly«pedicure» done.

I can not believe Marder made D Magazine’s Best list. If Charles Marder is anything like his staff I would stay away from this place. They are unknowledgeable and almost rude. You can almost picture solitary on the computer and nail polish on the desk as you talk to them. The only question Delores could answer was that Dr. Marder was a doctor. They rarely answer the phones. There is no emergency number. Their answering service takes 2 minutes to pick up the phone. There is no confirmation call of an appointment. They are unable to even tell you how much a routine procedure costs. I had an appointment, I will not be «calling» to cancel. I wouldn’t step foot in this place(pun intended.)

I went in for an ingrown toe nail. I was told by the lady working in the office that I would only be charged for my copay as removing an ingrown toe nail would not count as a surgery. I was told that I would not receive a bill in the mail, just something saying they did the procedure and that it should be 0 dollars. I confirmed this three times before the doctor treated me. A month later I get a bill for 300 dollars! I called the office and they said that they never told me that I would only have to pay for the copay. These people are liars and crooks. Try to stay away at all costs, they pulled a classic bait and switch. Other podiatrists told me upfront that it would cost around 300 dollars, unlike these scumbags. The doctor himself was nice, but I don’t know how great he really is. My toe doesn’t seem to be healing well and I will probably have to go see another doctor. I also wouldn’t be surprised if he is the one behind these shady business practices.
