This place is packed on a Friday night. I went here with a group of friends and we thoroughly enjoyed the pizza here. In this dimlit environment, it makes the atmosphere casual yet intimate.

Been here a few times. Good pizza. Great when it’s happy hour. But watch the clock. Your phone may say it’s 5 after and happy hour is on. But then you get your bill and the waitress says you were 2 minutes early. All your wine is now full price. Buzz killer. Now I understand why she was in such a hurry to put our order in as soon as we sat down. And she upsold us on way more expensive glasses. Blah. We left way earlier than expected because of it.(She asked if we could pay with her and then open another tab, she was leaving for the night.)

Yum had this delivered via DoorDash and it was prob the best pizza delivery I’ve had in the area(granted there aren’t really any standout pizza places around here)! It was a bit expensive, but overall worth it. We got the large pepperoni pizza with added basil, onions and truffle oil($ 2.50 for each addtnl topping) and we also ordered the seafood risotto cakes. The pizza was PERFECTION. It had a thin crust that was slightly crispy but also soft at the same time. The toppings were just enough — not too heavy, not too sparse. The flavors were fresh and delicious(the truffle oil really set it off). It was not perfectly satiating without being too greasy. Overall two thumbs up from this girl! The seafood risotto cakes were EVERYTHING. So much flavor… absolutely delicious! Aside from the fact that I literally feel like I paid an arm and a leg for it(food, addtl toppings, delivery fees, tip, etc… total about $ 50), it was the BEST pizza Ive had in a while — delivered straight to my door! Maybe this says something about my love of good food combined with my overwhelming laziness, but I thought it was well worth the splurge.

Went here for a birthday party and I was really impressed by their ability to accommodate such a large party with complete ease! They have a great wine list and some fantastic pizza options, which I was happy to share with the bday girl. The interior is gorgeous and our waiter was obviously a pro at handling large parties because there was never an issue with someone’s glass being empty, with the splitting of food items, or the splitting of checks. I had a great cabernet here(wish I could remember which one) but I do know I split the white pizza with the birthday girl and both of us really really enjoyed it. I love that they didn’t overdo the sauce on it so it wasnt slimy. It was perfect! Great night!

Would be better if they had a separate lunch menu. 8 of is went there for lunch and it is the same menu as dinner. Salads about 11 with chicken and pizza if you share it is a good deal.

Love the atmosphere, great drinks, yummy food. The salad I had was very crisp and fresh with wonderful seafood. The wait staff is helpful and Jeremy is perfect eye candy. Try the Basil Julep, Mary makes a mean one.

We visited on a Friday night about 8:00. When we were greeted by the hostess she told us it would be about 45 minutes. We put our names down and headed for two open spots at the bar. The bartenders were great! Fantastic personalities and attentive. We decided to order an appetizer and bottle of wine while we waited for our table, then decided to just order at the bar. The hostess came over after about 7 minutes and told us she had a table for us, but since we were already comfortable and had ordered an appetizer, we politely declined the table. The mozzarella sticks were very good — large, and not greasy in the least. One of the nice things here is that you can order your pizzas by the half, so I had margherita on my half and my boyfriend had the spicy meatball for his. Both were very, very good. The tomatoes on the margherita just melt in your mouth.

This is a wonderful spot on the patio to enjoy great wines with friends, family or come alone and make some new friends.

Love it here… The pizza’s are amazing and the wine is always flowing. I love the atmosphere it’s very laid back and dim which came in quite handy seeing as how I was rocking a pretty serious pimple and dim lighting was just what I needed! The prices are very fair considering the costly places that surround it.

First off, the atmosphere was incredible — we were greeted at the entrance by an enthusiastic gentleman who immediately seated us for dinner. The dim lighting in the room and table candle made it perfect for a romantic evening. Nonetheless, you could enjoy it easily with a friend or group. The waitress who took our orders was dry in comparison to the gentleman who seated us, but she was quick to allow us to order and attentive with drinks. The only slow part of the evening was waiting for the check, but it was returned swiftly. The entrees, I’m sad to say, were disappointing. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Marsala, which was overly salty and had too much acidity. The sauce nearly stung once it hit my palate. The chicken was cut very thin and was bone dry. The only redeeming quality of the dish was the potatoes which were cooked and seasoned well. My guest ordered the Pasta Bolognese which she described as «it’s okay I suppose.» The part of the meal I did enjoy was our starter — we ordered a Smoked Salmon Tartare. The only critique I have would be to use thinner slices of avocado as the large chunks were difficult to handle with the chips. I would go back to try their pizzas just because I really enjoyed the atmosphere, but if the entrees are any indication of the quality of their pies, I’m probably better off eating elsewhere.

Enjoyed this smaller and intimate Coal Vines. Great mid week date spot. Not loud at all, can enjoy each other’s conversation while enjoying an excellent wine collection. Since I’m not a Pizza person I can’t give me review on the Pizza but I had a yummy Mesclun Salad and added Grilled Chicken on top of it. Excellent selection. Will return again!

I love this place. Reviewing brunch only. The mimosa carafes are really good. The food is really good too but could be so much better with a little effort. New to the brunch menu is biscuits and gravy. The gravy is awesome but they put it on a canned biscuit. Gross. They must use a different brand or flavor of canned biscuit from time to time because last time I had this, the biscuit was really sweet and obviously canned. Sometimes it’s less sweet and less obvious the biscuit is not homemade. Same with the pancakes. I suspect they are frozen but the toppings you can get with them make up The difference. Great place. Great prices. If they put more effort into the details of brunch it would probably be off the charts.

Service was harsh but pizza was great. Lots of gluten free options, which was a huge plus. Nice, cozy atmosphere.

Great pizza! Husband and I went in for Saturday happy hour a few weeks ago and had a great time at the bar. The staff were very attentive! We ordered the Italian sandwich with a side of pizza sauce, and the margarita pizza. The margarita pizza came out cold. we asked if they could put it back in the oven and they made us a new one on the spot! The sandwich was really yummy, and we got the side-order of baked carrots with goat cheese. Super garlic-ey and different! Decent beer options and wine list. Their specials are usually pretty great too.

The décor involves pictures of old time actors and contemporary art. That is the first sign the place is a little helter skelter. The patio is nice, the wine list is long and all the servers were very nice. On to the food… the mesclun salad with lemon vinegrette was not memorable. It wasn’t tangy and the lettuce had black spots, those are blunders related to quality control. I ordered a different dressing due to the bacon in their dijon vinegrette. The caprese salad had a sweet vinegar that paired nicely with the tomatoes, but they use a cheap(hard) mozerella cheese. I could buy better cheese at Kroger, that is a bad place to cut corners for a place with pizza/Italian food. However, the smoked salmon tartare with avacado and pomegrantae vinegrette was one of the best appetizers I have ever had. I would go back and order two of those as my main course. For the entrée, I had their cod piccata. The sauce was excellent on both the fish and the gluten free pasta. The fish was flaky, tender and moist. A nice recovery to a bad start. Overall, it was a nice outing.

Was in Frisco for business and they took us here for dinner. Not being from the area, I was told we’re going for pizza, so I had in my mind something entirely different. This is an upscale pizza place. It’s more of a wine bar with gourmet style pizzas. The server made a suggestion for wine, allowed us to try it, and it was delicious and I quickly ordered a glass. I wasn’t involded in the ordering, but they ordered a bunch of appitizers. I tried the calamari and meatballs. Both were great. Meatballs were moist and had a lot of flavor. The sauce was great. I had one slice of the margherita pizza. I’m not a huge fan of pizza, but I was impressed. I enjoyed the food, wine, and service. I’m not sure it’s a place I would go back to for dinner. I might sit at the bar, drink some wine, and nibble on an appetizer, but again I’m not a huge pizza/italian food fan.

We came here on a Sunday night and it was not too crowded. Although it was a nice night, we opted to sit indoors as the way the restaurant was facing(west), the sun would have been right in our faces(2 of the 4 of us, anyway). It was pretty dark inside and more of a cute wine bar than pizza restaurant I would say. The service was good and the value is great. 2 people can easily share a pizza and have leftovers. We got the meatball appetizer, which was 3 large(tennis ball size) meatballs. The meatballs were just okay, nothing special. For our pizza, we got the white pizza. The crust was cooked perfectly and the topping perfectly ratioed. They do take out which may be a good option next time.
