There is no better place to take your high performance car to be worked on than Cobb Tuning. Their technicians are top notch Master Certified techs with extensive knowledge of a variety of makes. Their equipment is all state of the art and no corners are cut.

I was introduced to Cobb Tuning by a few friends that are fellow car lovers. So naturally after I purchased first Subaru I started doing research on the company. Come to find out not only do they do performance upgrades but they also do maintenance and hold a monthly social event, First Thursday! I’ve met some truly great people while their and all have a passion for their cars. Whether a daily driver, a drag car, a show car, a street rod, or a Nuremberg ringer, They handle it all.

Being a Subaru fan, I came to the grand opening of Cobb Tuning Plano back in November of 2008 to see the new facility and mingle with like-​minded individuals. I always thought Cobb Tuning only tuned/​modded cars but never did I think they could do maintenance. Fast forward to today (18 March 2010), when I saw on the odometer that my car needed 45k maintenance done. I usually go to the dealer but that has officially changed as of today. They work on Subaru, Mitsubishi, Infiniti/​Nissan, Mazdas and more so it is not limited to just one or two brands.
The shop is located in and around some one story office buildings in Plano. The showroom/​reception area is quiet, clean and very well thought through with different performance parts mounted on one wall, a TV on another, a couch and coffee table filled with magazines. This is your basic setup which works very well and is very inviting.
Kudos to Neil for taking care of me and Chris for the plethora of knowledge he has to offer. I know that my car is in good hands. I definitely don’t get that shaky feeling like someone is trying to rip me off when it comes to my car. (re: dealerships) These guys are as real and down to earth as can be. They don’t try to upsell anything, only what you need. If you want a quick brainstorming session with Chris, he mixes tuning logic with real world application so anyone can understand exactly what he is talking about. I definitely recommend this place for both tuning and/​or maintenance. You will be very pleased.
