Please do not eat the soup dumplings here. I am super nauseous and have pooped more times than I can count. Save yourself. It’s too late for me.

Ugh I hate to be the person giving a negative review but my lunch items were gross. I had the shrimp in rice flour wrapping doused with watered down soy sauce. The rice flour wrapping was absolutely disgusting! I adore rice flour treats and this one had an odd smell and just gummy off texture. The vegetable bun was mediocre and warranted two stars.

The most authentic cantonese porridge in DFW so far. This place makes everything to order so be prepared to wait for about 15 — 20minutes. Its just a food booth in the food court. Its a little piece of hongkong all by itself. Forget going to kirin court or JS chen if you are looking for dimsum.

Ordered shrimp and bbq pork crepes. Dim sum is 10x better. One shrimp with so much flour. Pork smells fishy.

Takes 15 minutes for them to steam the bun so don’t be in a hurry. If you aren’t okay with this, go someplace else. I personally am willing to wait.

This place easily has the best dim sum items in the DFW area. Everything is fresh and flavorful. Prices are very fair to boot. Honestly, I’m shocked this place doesn’t have a line out the door. Recommended items include, BBQ pork pie, chicken curry pie, congee, and egg tart.

They have THE best egg tarts. They’re fresh and have that great eggy aroma, and the crust is nice and flaky. It’s a little pricey at $ 1/piece but it’s forgivable cause HK Foods is a small mom-and-pop shop and their stuff is so good. I also recommend the pork rice noodle crepes. Really good.(:

A great place to get my HK breakfast kick… The food choices is slightly limited but what we had was very tasty. We ordered the pork and preserved egg congee, plain congee, pork rice dumpling, and the sweet fried dough. All that for less than $ 10. The congee is probably the best in Dallas area. Considering this is a food court restaurant, the food taste even better than most restaurants. Will definitely come back for more.

This is my favorite food«booth» at the Legacy Food Court! The vegetable and pork buns are $ 1.00 each — super filling and super cheap! They also have mantou aka Chinese buns/steamed bread that are $ 0.70. The rice porridge is another favorite of mine and only costs $ 2.00. Very authentic and very good.

Stopped by the Legacy Food Court for a quick Asian lunch and was tempted by the buns sitting in the display case at Hong Kong Foods. Their pork and vegetable buns($ 1.25 each) seem to be less greasy and fatty than a lot of other buns, which made my stomach happier, and I liked how they were not super salty for my taste. Their turnip cakes are perfectly fried to crispy perfection and chunks of turnip inside make it dense(in a good way). We also tried the preserved egg and pork congee(rice porridge), a Hong Kong specialty. The porridge was more watery than my personal preference, but it was chock full of HUGE chunks of the black preserved egg and pork(don’t be deceived by the water/rice…it’s all at the bottom of the bowl). They also have a selection of buns for around $ 1.00…my fiancé was happy that their pineapple bun was Hong Kong style with the flaky, crumbly topping(pineapple buns, despite their names, do not have pineapple inside of them… the topping makes it look like pineapple). I’d definitely go back for the buns.

This place recently opened in the Legacy food court next to Asia World Market. Small mom and pop shop with a nice selection of homemade authentic Chinese/Hong Kong pastries. Very affordable and tasty and left me satisfied. The buns were fresh and hot and looked great! I had to get another! Its hard to find good pastries in this area so I was quite happy finding this place. Definitely give this place 4 stars.
