I got the handcut noodles and it was so good. Highly recommend this place, it looks kinda dirty but the food makes up for it. Would return if I want Taiwanese food. Shame they ran out of the handrolls.

Very disappointed. Order a Taiwanese beef noodle. Not only the portion is small and it is tasteless. Noodles are tangled together as if it was not cooked. I have beef noodle in many places. This is probably one of the worse. Won’t come back for sure.

Pig intestine vermicelli is one my favorite Taiwanese dishes; its very simple to make yet it serves as an index to the authenticity of a Taiwanese restaurant. To my disappointment, Legacy café failed big time. The soup is so runny and the dark soup base masked the fact that the bowl is pretty much empty. There’s no flavor to it, and overall it’s just way overpriced, even at $ 5, for what goes inside the bowl. I’m so disappointed because it’s obviously getting high reviews from the rest Unilocalers.

Something about this little hidden place always open up my appetite. I usually go for their amazing rice and soup combo deal with your choice of 3 sides a little under $ 7. Their eggplant is amazing! For appetizer, must try their chicken nuggets. It’s not as bad compared to other locations. Can always ask them to add some spice if needed. Friendly service but remember to bring cash!!! If you still have room for dessert, get some Crepes-4-U inside the asian market or Bobaland. :-) I usually get all within one trip.

The BF has gotten to know the family who owns the café! They are incredibly sweet and warming. The service will continue to bring us back! The food is great. Fried rice is comforting but not too greasy or salty. Egg rolls and fried wontons are not bad either. The«mom» says their most popular item is the ramen. Unfortunately I have not tried it because I’m always skeptical about ramen. The udon soup with tempura shrimp is good. The broth is nice and the portion is very generous. Though the shrimp tempura was fried nicely the batter was not a traditional tempura, but more of a «beer» batter. I probably would get it again though. The menu has a lot of variety to easily please all tastes!

Authentic Asian food for an excellent price in an über casual location! Perfect for quick fixes, groups and Located in the«The Food Court» where ten Asian eateries set up mini stalls around a central area of common tables. It looks like a mall food court, but the food is much better! The menu is mostly pictorial showing dozens of variations of noodles and rice dishes. I had just started looking at the images, getting completely overwhelmed and wondering who the heck could order off a picture menu like this when my husband and his cousin came up behind me, immediately spotted an image of what they wanted to eat and ordered. Five minutes later, my nephew walked by, spotted an image of the exact rice he craved and ordered. I guess it does work! We ordered Flat Rice Noodles with beef and a Chicken Fried Rice. Both dishes were HUGE. My husband and I shared generous portions of the Rice Noodles with his brother and cousin and still had enough for us. The Chicken Fried Rice was enough for my nephew to eat for a few days. Both were delicious! This spot, as many in the food court, is CASH Only so be prepared. When you place your order, you are given a table number to take with you. About ten minutes later one of the workers delivers your meal to your table. The dishes were EXCELLENT! My hubby was trying to figure out how he could return to order again during our visit. Definitely keeping this spot at the top of our list for future visits!

First time there and ordered the kimchi lamb stew. Can have it with noodles or rice. I opted for the noodles and have to say that the soup was phenomenal. First and foremost, it is meant to be shared as it is huge. It has lamb, kimchee, winter squash, and some other vegetables on top of a noodle filled broth. The broth is delicious and has just a little heat from the kimchi. I was surprised at the freshness of the noodles, and confirmed they are hand made fresh daily. I usually don’t order soups and stews but have to say this was hearty, filling, and extremely good. I know that not every dish would rate a 5,(like the gentleman who ordered a breaded pork chop) but use some common sense, and I’m sure there are other gems on the menu like this dish.

My friend recommended this place to me and I was a bit skeptical due to location. I’ve been looking for a decently priced and quick service ramen place. Knowing that the restaurant was in a Asian food court, I didn’t think it was going to be the best so I kept my expectations low. I was pleasantly surprised! I got the kimchi ramen and the broth was very flavorful. It had just the right amount of spice and the kimchi did not overpower the broth. If you’re looking for a fast service restaurant that has authentic Taiwanese food and ramen, this is a great place to go! They only take cash so remember that before you come.

Authentic Chinese food in Texas? Yep. I had the smoked chicken rice and a beef shao bing. The smoked chicken was tender, flavorful and not too salty. It came with sauteed eggplant and greens. The rice was topped with shredded pork. The beef shao bing had cilantro, pickled veggies and slices of marinated beef. Both dishes taste no different from what you would encounter on the streets of Taipei. Legacy Café is a small shop inside the food court. It took me a while to find it.

Food is authentic but not good. There are better choices within the same food court. I ordered the fried pork chop and basil leave chicken. Both tasted dry and flavorless, and some how it was cold too.

They look like they just started doing special order fancier dishes — but you can’t go wrong with their terrific buffet assortment of Chinese comfort foods. We always get extra to go and eat it all week!

Go to Genroku, May’s Ice Cream or for better Taiwanese food. The pork chop was dry. The beef shao bing was too sweet.

Legacy Café serves up some great Taiwanese food in the Legacy food court. It’s homey and the owners are super-nice. They have a selection of dishes for a combination box/plate, such as eggplant, vegetables, basil chicken, fried pork chops, etc. It’s pretty typical Chinese food fare, but to me it was just like how my family makes it, which makes this somewhat of a subjective review. I liked their rice rolls(filled with the Taiwanese fried dough, pork sung, and vegetables — also an egg, which was a first for me, but a pleasant surprise), and the sandwich like beef sao-bing — beef inside the sesame pancake. I’d definitely go back the next time I needed some Chinese comfort food.
