One of the best mixed grill plates in the DFW area. All the kabob items were cooked very well, except for the chicken seekh kabob which was a bit bland. The Bihari kabob and beef seekh kabob are particularly good. Portion sizes for each item on the mixed plate are generous too. They also have the best meat samosas I’ve had in the DFW area. Definitely order these and take some for home. Main criticism is the service. Staff are polite but they seemed a bit understaffed both times I went.

Ate lunch here on Dec 29, 2015. Ordered Beef Seekh Kabab, Chicken Boti and Nihari. All three items were great. Naans are great as well. I asked for them to be soft and that’s exactly how they were served. The owner was humble and polite. Will dine here again IA.

Excellent beef nihari, chicken tikka masala and achar chicken, the deserts were outstanding as well, we had the gulab jaman and kheer. The chai was top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant as the most authentic pakistani place in DFW.

The food wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t good. The flavors were underwhelming. There are so many better Indian/Pakistani food in the area. Don’t think I’ll be back. Won’t RTE.

We just had their chicken biryani and it tasted bland with no flavors. The chicken was under cooked and the rice was over cooked. Worst of all, I got food poisoning from it and it took me 2 days to recover. Not recommended at all!

Visited this place on rainy Friday noon with 4 other friends of which 1 person is a regular… so he ordered d food for all of us… chicken achari, chicken keema(minced chicken) and combo kabab. chicken achari was great and the kababs too. keema chicken was Ok, noting worth abt it. Don’t expect any ambience in d restaurant, it has basic setup. chairs and tables to sit. service was fine but not quick. you shld visit to taste d food. will visit again

Below average Indian food. Ordered Tikka Masala and the chicken was good quality but the sauce was very watered down. Even though we asked for mild, it was still spicy. To-go order was missing naan that we paid extra for. On the plus side, the owner was very courteous and did honor the 10% Unilocal check-in discount.

Okay food nothing spectacular. They didn’t honor the Unilocal deal. Its a small family run business so don’t expect any service. the owner is usually outside talking loud on his cell phone and there is a young kid who runs around with his toy cars bumping into customers. Food is hit or miss. Food is not even halfway decent and service is non existent.

If your not sure about trying eastern food. Get the chicken Byriani. And add beef samosas you will be pleased.

4 stars as the service could have been much better and also the naans. Service is what could be expected from a desi joint, apathetic at best. With one girl serving everyone and a manager type sitting behind the counter not showing any interest in the guests. Chicken seekh kababs were very good and so was the goat curry. I found the naans to be lacking but that’s a personal preference. It’s a smallish place so I imagine will get busy and crowded quicker. High noise level for people who are particular about that.

They did not honor the 10% coupon that their Unilocal profile page offers. That was a massive turn off. no body likes being lied to. As for the food, the seekh kabobs were extremely good but the haleem sucked big time.

Very nice food! We really enjoyed the chicken tikka masala and the Lahoori Combo — especially the spicy tandoori chicken — I think it it’s called chicken Karara? Nice service if not the speediest, it took a few minutes for the waitress to acknowledge us even though there was only one other table occupied. Very friendly though, with patient explanations of dishes we were unfamiliar with. The owner also gave us a complementary kheer because we said we weren’t big fans of kheer, and he said they make theirs differently — slow cooked for hours. It was really delicious and without that soapy taste that usually turns me on. Overall a great place!

I’m just a goofy white guy who doesn’t know a lot about Indian cuisine, but I’m doing my best. I read the reviews and had a good idea what to expect. It definitely is not fancy, but it has tables and chairs, so that’s about all you should expect. I took the safe bet and ordered the chicken kabob(see the picture). It was super tasty and had a nice amount of spices without burning your face off. There were 3 large kabobs of chicken and it came with lettuce, tomato, sauce and your choice of naan bread or rice. I went with the naan and boy was it tasty! They are pretty stingy with the naan, but that’s because they make it one piece at a time. It’s not drenched in butter and boy is it good! The service was friendly, but they don’t bend over backwards to make sure you’re happy. Once I got my food, I felt like I was on my own until some other people came in and I was able to flag the waitress down. Also, I don’t think they have an ice machine because there was no ice to be found! Just a pitcher of water and a can of soda(but that is pretty common for Indian restaurants). Over all, I was very pleased and will come back. They have a limited menu, but I am up for trying different dishes here.

We frequently come here to get take out whenever we’re in the mood for South Asian food but just don’t want to cook. The works are extremely helpful and do a great job explaining dishes and making helpful suggestions. I have yet to get something I don’t particularly like from here. Although please take this with a grain of salt — 85% of the time I always want the chicken kebab. Yes, I’m crazy like that, but it’s just so good! The best part is the naan they serve it with. It isn’t slathered in butter like most other restaurants. Instead it’s a well roasted piece of bread that works great with the kebabs. The best part of all is the mint chutney that goes with the kebabs and naan. Be warned it is a bit spicy but a little goes a long way. Yes this place is far from fancy, but the food is amazing and it’s just the place to go if you’re craving something spicy and delicious.

The food was good. We ordered the chicken dam biriyani, lahori fish, nehari and haleem. All these were good. The chicken tikka masala was too sweet and was ok. The nan is soft and crispy. The price is good and reasonable. The service was quick too. The place was very simple but nicely organised. I would definitely go back to this place.

Best desi food I’ve had in a while! And only place I know that serves Kashmiri chai(Friday and Saturdays)! I love this place! Chicken tikka kebab — fav Seekh kebab — a little spicy but the flavors r great as well Malai chicken — pretty good! And the naans are delish as well! Hope to try more so I can review it :) My favorite things will have to be the kishmiri chai and chicken tikka
