Hot N Crunchy

Never go here for any food other than burgers. The food is stale, way too spicy, and it takes forever for them to make it. There was a buffet and they didn’t even bother to replace the trays. This place just downright sucks.

Good for chicken nuggets and wings. Cannot say the same for the weekend brunch stuff. How can the owner let the staff prepare such pathetic exercises in Halwapuri or Paratha belittles the imagination.

Been here twice because it is a block away. Both times we waited over an hour for food. Both times the entire restaurant was full of seriously pissed, mutinous customers who couldn’t get their food and when they did half of it was missing. Ours was the same but we refrained from yelling at the staff. They had no clue what to do.
Food was just okay, definitely not worth the stress of angry mobs.

Ordered a beef philly cheese steak, beef burger and 3 piece chicken tenders. Extremely disappointed that we had to wait about 40mins after the fact we called 20 mins prior and it’s a Sunday. I enjoyed the foods not enough to come back anytime soon and wait this long for my food!!! Extremely disappointed in there customer service.

Liked the food a lot but only giving it a ⁴⁄₅ here because I got sick later in the day. Not entirely sure if the two were related.
The Bihari Kabab Roll in the paratha was really good.
I really liked the French fries with the Masala as well. Reminded me a lot of the street vendors in Karachi in the early 90s.
I’m not someone who looks at the décor of a place of the food is good. People who do will knock off another star for it because it is nothing special. There are plenty of seating available though.

This place is a atmosphere deprived environment. There are no cool items on the wall, no decoration, drab and dull. Their food was served cold and service was slow. Cold environment did not feel welcome.

My favorite place to eat for desi food for sure! I always order the rice platter with the chicken kabob and bihari kabob and it’s absolutely perfect. Everyone else in my family loves the stir fried rice and the burgers. Definitely recommended for people looking for halal options!

Food was good but undercooked. too noisy.they should have a separate room for party. started having headache with birthday party kids everywhere.

I’ve had it with the majority of Pakistani restaurants. Dirty bathrooms, inappropriate and loud programming on TV, bad service.
I’ve been eating hot n crunchy for years because they used to be one of the few Pakistani halal options in Plano, always cutting them slack for the things mentioned above because the food was good. Today I ordered a kabab platter. The TV was set on nikolodeon and blasting. Literally blasting where I couldn’t talk on the phone either. The food turned out to be ridiculously spicy. I complained. They didn’t replace it didn’t apologize, in fact put it on me saying you should ask us to wash the chicken because it’s pre marinated. Well ask you customer like normal restaurants with any service training or sense do, how spicy do they want their food. Needless to say, falling apart dirty bathroom is a hallmark here as well.
Pakistani restaurant owners, I want to support you, but get your acts together please. It’s not hard to learn when everyone does it around you.

Hands down Hot and Crunchy is the best Pakistani restaurant within the Plano area!!! I love their grilled items, especially the juicy chicken tikka boti and the behari kebab… perfect amount of spice and grilled to perfection. Makes my mouth water just thinking about these 2 items now. Their fried chicken tenders are wonderful too and come with a generous portion of masala fries and a soda when you get the meal. I love the masala fries… they are super tasty. The food does take a little while to prepare but that’s because each meal is prepated with diligence. The owners are friendly and nice too so that makes you want to return often itself. You feel like you are at a friend’s place when you visit Hot and Crunchy. Truly amazing food and great service!

Awesome Beef burger and Fried Chicken with masala fries. Must admit one of the juiciest beef burger I had in ages!

This is the kind of place you go to once, brush off the bad quality, return again and give it a «Never Again.»
My brother and father had gone here previously, had a 50 minute wait and then brought back sup par food, but we were in the area, so me, him and some friends decided to return for another try. It wasn’t worth it.
We arrive and waited, the line was small, although the place was somewhat dim and dusty. They should open some blinds. We ordered 5 non combo meals and 10 PCs fried chicken to go for about $ 50 tax and all. We sat down to wait. The table was oddly sticky.
My brother went off to shop at the near market and so I waited for our food. 2 consumers entered in that time and received food before us, one staying and one to go. We ended up waiting for 45 minutes for our food. Food that was very oily and all fried, and smaller than most portions you’ll find around here.
The chicken they served was not tender, but tough, with very crispy skin, the burgers were small and disappointing and their stir fry which was ordered «mild», had absolutely no flavor. Heat or otherwise. Their fried chicken was very oily and bland, just standard fare chicken. The only good thing was the garlic paste/​chilli sauce they gave, which really gave OK flavor to some of it.
Overall, the food wasn’t worth the wait, wasn’t very quality and wasn’t shocking. Mostly disappointing. I would not suggest going here with multiple restaurants of multiple cuisines nearby, halal or not.

I’ll give 5 stars for the food and 3 stars for the ambiance. Food was fabulous and just the right amount of spicy. They had free chai and the price is fairly cheap for a Dallas area lunch spot. I got the chicken and beef rice plate which I highly recommend! Plenty to eat and saved some for later.

Good Pakistani food. Love their chicken tikka, fries, and naan! Their chea is simply terrible! don’t bother even trying it or it will ruin everything. Pretty much they have one server who does everything with smile and owner just sit and do nothing seems like.

I have no idea how this place has 4 star reviews. The food was mediocre at best, most of it seemed prepared days before and reheated when ordered, leaving it dry and tasteless and the burger was as hard as a low grade steak. There is no such thing as customer service, we had to ask for plates and silverware which was disposable foam, that’s self explanatory. Beyond that and the horrible upkeep of the dinning area, the bathroom situation just got worse. When I go to clean up before and after eating I want to feel clean, the bathrooms both male and female are one step below being unacceptable, only because they had soap was I kept from being really put off, my husband wasn’t as lucky as I was, because the men’s room didn’t have soap. Basically it’s just a bad bad management of an establishment. I would never step foot Into this place again.

Very good food. Owners are very friendly. The food we ordered, it came out just the way we liked it. I will differently be back with the family and friends.

Had their burgers, chicken biryani and fries. All were pretty decent. service is slow but overall nice fast food place to eat if your not in a hurry.

OK so the food is good. The people are nice. But they have no idea what service means! The following has happened to me at least three times, so I’ve decided to just cut them off from my list of options:
I place an order on the phone.
They say it’ll be ready in 20 minutes.
I show up, and NEVER ever have I gotten my order before an hour of me placing the order.
The last time, I got to the restaurant 30 minutes after placing my order, and the girl at the counter told me it’ll be a couple of minutes. After about 30 further minutes, I was told that my order was ready except for the fries. And this was on a weekday with about 3 – 4 customers in the restaurant.
Maybe they should just say that your order will take an hour to be ready on the phone!

This place is the shittiest place I’ve ever been to they demand you to put your order down and give it to you, like what the fuck who does that. You see I wrote this review 50 mins ago and I’m still waiting for my fucking food if you want to come here do it at your own risk these bitches don’t know what customer service is if It bitched slapped them in the face.

This place is ridiculously good. Every single item tastes good but my favorites are their grilled items and wraps. Their seekh kabab roll and behari chicken roll make my mouth water. They also have masala fries and I can only find masala fries in a handful of places in Dallas. Their burgers are also very good. I like their paratha rolls more than the naan rolls even though they are more oily. Their paratha tastes just like Bandoo Khan’s paratha in Houston! It usually does take a little while to get your food probably because the staff meticulously prepares each item so be prepared to be patient.
