Jacki M. What a sad sad story. These two ladies(proclaimed Christians) when you enter their store are absolutely precious. They seem like the quintessential fabulous women ready to show you their wonderful consignments with smiles, laughter and help. I had consigned with them on and off for a while. I didn’t make a lot of money because really in all honesty they are tucked away off of Mcdermott but nevertheless, I liked their attitude(INTHEBEGINNING) and kept going back because it was«convenient» for me where I lived to drop my things off hoping I can make some money. To get to the point — DONOTWASTEYOURTIMEGOINGTHEREWHATSOEVER. As time went on I noticed very, very, very strange behavior. They did not return phone calls, store was closed at normal business hours, bought some yogurt store next door for their daughter to run(which was never busy and you had to talk to the daughter to try to figure out where the mother who owns this consignment store was). THISRIGHTOFFTHEBATISTERRIBLEBUSINESSETHIC I moved to California and the owner promised she would drop off the $ 48.00 that she owed me at my garage sale and she never showed. I ended up going THREE times to her store(no one there and again, no one answering the phone) to collect my money. The daughter(at the yogurt shop) had to call her mother asking her where my money was. I told the daughter to tell her mother this is really horrible business practices and worse yet — A HORRIBLEREPRESENTATIONOF A CHRISTIAN. Has she called me or sent me a check? NO… NOTHING. NADA. NICHT!!! DONOTWASTEYOURGAS, TIME, ORENERGYGOINGTOTHISRIDICULOUSPLACEOFEMPLOYMENT.

Might be a great place to shop but I would recommend not giving Kim any of your things to sell. She is terribly unorganized. You have to chase down the $$ owed and then the check bounces. Have not been able to get my percentage for three months, now.

LOVETHISSTORE! WHAT A FABULOUSPLACE. It has to be my favorite consignment shop in town! The ladies here are absolutely adorable and the deals are awesome. I have bought and sold here and am really happy on both ends. They are always having a great sale where you can find many designer items at unbelievable prices. I have bought and sold clothing, shoes, purses, home décor, etc. Did I mention… I LOVETHISSTORE!

This store was a recommendation from a friend. My experience was awful. Let me rephrase, the owner of this store is awful! I brought several of my purses to resale(Michael Kors, Henri Bendel etc). A month later a friend of mine informed me that the purses had been sold. I guess the owner of the store told her? I made not one, but three attempts to contact the owner to find out what had been sold and to collect my money to no avail. She never called me back and when I could track her down she kept telling me the check«was in the mail». This went on for 2 months. I was on the verge of reporting her and the business to the local authority. My friend got word and was so embarrassed she made a call to the owner about the situation. She demanded the check be mailed to her. a few days later, I got a check for 90 $? The lady couldn’t even remember what I had in the store! Please, please. if you don’t want your nice items stolen… DONT bring them to pretti new… it is being run by a scatter brained thief. I didn’t even want to give one star, but I did finally get the money.

When I walked into this place… I felt as though I walked into a Goodwill store in the early 1990’s. Needless to say, I ran and never looked back.

Tucked a little out of the way on McDermott, this is a consignment store that I really enjoy. Frequent sales, awesome finds and label designers for less is only part of what makes this store worth visiting. Along with the usual fanfare of great, gently-used clothes, Pretti New has jewelry, shoes and purses, as well as some furniture and home décor. I could seriously go broke if I bought everything that caught my eye in this store! Not only do they have a great selection, but the owners/managers are very nice, even though on a busy day they come off as slightly harried. I’ve visited this store on two separate days, once, to check and see if this was the right place for me to consign, and the second, after I made my appointment, I brought some of my items here to consign. The store can be very picky about what they want to display, which is encouraging, because unlike nearby teen-young adult Plato’s Closet, I wasn’t let down or dissapointed by pulling something cute out only to discover it was dirty, or had holes or tears. However, they aren’t so label conscious that they refuse to put out anything that isn’t Prada, Gucci, Coach, Ed Hardy(or anything else that’s currently on the ‘hot’ list). All in all, I would say that it’s very easy to update your wardrobe, find that perfect pair of shoes or get a great designer handbag here without breaking the bank. Just writing this review makes me want to go back!
