I would give it 0 stars if I could. Called and ordered 30 minutes before. Got there to find out that they gave away my order to someone else. And said it will take another 20 minutes if I want to wait. Mistakes happen and that’s fine but not even a sorry or any courtesy was said. And even in the line, it took me 10 minutes to explain to them the situation because they kept taking phone calls while taking customers in line. And this wasn’t the first bad experience like this I’ve had there or someone I know has had there. I used to come here pretty often but no longer will be coming here because of their horrible attitude.

Came and ordered 3 togo items. Took more than 45 minutes and still waiting. They take payment upfront but highly mismanaged on who paid first. They are constantly struggling to match food with an order. Got the food finally after getting mad at them. Chicken 65 tasted ok but chewy. Butter chicken had hardly 10 pieces and mostly watery gravy. Naan was mediocre. Veg biryani was the only saving grace. Avoid this place and go to mcdonalds for a dinner.

Is it a Food Court? It is a Grocery Store? Is it an Indian Sweet and Snack Shop? Is this a single business or multiple businesses sharing a common space as when you are ready to order and ask for the menu, you get to pick from 4 – 5 different menus with 4 – 5 different brand names on them. When asked if they operate as different businesses, the answer is no. The customer service here is quite bad. If you order takeout, they will sometimes leave things out and you don’t find out till you get home and then its too late. Their biryani I promise you is no good. With so many food choices and cuisines going on, I think their Chef’s are getting confused. There is a lack of focus and seems like someone has an attention deficit disorder within the organization. The only thing that is good is their Chicken Fried Rice for the kids from what I have ordered. It is only $ 4 – 5 and is of a large portion size and best of all it is not spicy at all. This is the only reason why I keep going here from time to time because all other Indian places in the area have no regards for what a Kids meal should be — not spicy. They should focus on the concept of less is more and simplify their menus, make the job easier for the chefs, and make sure they send home for takeout customers all the items that a customer is ordering. They need to greatly improve customer service and make sure they greet and speak to customers nicely.

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. The food is ok. The fresh breads(Naan’s) are a disaster. On a to go order make sure to check if they are even cooked(all I got was blobs of raw uncooked wheat). Called them and they agree to communicate that to the«chef»(more like they do not check quality or do not care!) Will Look elsewhere. there are better options! Please don’t review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you’re connected in any way to the owner or employees.

Best Indian food I’ve had in Texas. I’d definitely recommend if you are in the area. It’s a good place for«take out», the atmosphere may need some work, although food is good! The naan and samosas(with the spicy green sauce) were my favorite.

Great take out spot… although the new menu drives me crazy! They used to just have one menu with all their dishes on it, but this place has gotten quite confusing recently. They«divided“the restaurant into three smaller«restaurants.» At least that’s the illusion you get from the outside. They have three different signs, three different menus and it’s kind of hard to figure out what’s what. But when you go in, it’s just one big restaurant and one big interface that will take care of everything. The most confusing part is that they occasionally have menu items that are the same name on different menus and often at different prices. It’s so difficult to keep track of everything! The food is decent — I really recommend anything off their«Bombay Chopstix» Menu. The chilli rice is great with chicken manchurian. Although if you cannot handle spicy food, they do make milder, more moderate dishes too. Just take you’re pick. Also, the prices here have gone up since they’ve remodeled. Yeah, it seems a little steep for takeout sometimes, but their portions are exceptionally generous — often enough for 2 – 4 servings, depending on what you order.

The food is ok here but the restaurant is dirty. Cold beverage dispenser seems not cleaned since a year or so and the cloth on the dining table seems never cleaned. I did not see such a dirty restaurant in Plano. Horrible staff, they don’t even show interest to talk and help. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

Please don’t buy grocery from here I bought frozen shredded coconut and came home to find out it was bad I called and complained and the store clerk was saying we can’t guarantee the quality of frozen food. I have not stepped in that store after that

Horrible food service. The guy at the counter was not welcoming to take orders. Asked for food to dine in but he made it a Togo order. I kept waiting for 30 mins thinking the guy would serve the order. When I got the food, naan was uncooked! Food was horrible. Never visiting here for food again! I don’t recommend people to visit here.

They have 3 restaurant menus under one roof. We go to Bombay chopstix at coit and Campbell. Our fav item was Hakka noodles. Keeping that in mind we ordered the same thing. Guess what it’s the worst noodle we ever had. There was no taste to the Hakka noodles. When we asked why there is any flavor or spice in noodles we got a surprise response. He said if you want flavor please use ther spice sauce. Looks like he first needs to understand what’s the difference between flavor and spice. Will never come back here. Worst service.

Food is ok but don’t cater from here. I requested catering service for a party in the evening. I requested the service for delivery even before putting in the order. It was scheduled for delivery at 6:30 but got it at 8:45 and without white rice that never got delivered. Still charged the full price and the management did not accept the mistake. I am a lost customer.

5 stars for their biryani. Not a huge fan of their other options but they have the BESTBIRYANIEVER. I always get chicken or mutton. Both are flavorful and spicy. You won’t be disappointed. Cons — Now that they remodeled the place they raised their prices. The biryani is $ 3 more than it used to be. It’s enough for 3 meals though. Also, they didn’t do a very good job remodeling the place. Half of it is the usual grocery store and the other half is not one but three new restaurants! A bit strange and probably very confusing since they all have different menus. Customer service at the restaurant also needs some improvement. Anyways, just get the biryani and you’ll be happy.

Awful, dirty place… they must have pictures of somebody in the health department because it’s a miracle they are still open We went here once after they re-branded it as a Bombay Chopstix and they didn’t have silverware, ordered some Indo-Chinese food like the chicken lollipop(garbage), manchurian(toxic) and fried rice(stale and tasteless). To top this all off… saw roaches in their pantry area near the restroom. City of Plano… Please shut this place down before they hurt someone!

Can someone shut down this crappy place? Quality of the food sucks .it’s chaotic, they don’t even take the order properly. Even worst, one of the order takers talks to me in Telugu(assumed I know that language because I am an Indian guy). Had to give him a piece of my mind !!

I have not been to spice rack in a while and I saw that they had remodeled the whole place. The restaurant is separate from grocery. There are 2 signs biriyani pointe and bombay chopstick. The menu was completely new and they were doing some Indo Chinese stuff as well. I ordered some chilli wok potatoes and a garlic nan to go. I opened the box in my house and I saw french fries with some of the seasoning(chilli, onion maybe some spices) tossed in. I paid 6.99 + tax just for the potatoes and it does not come with rice or nan. It was about the size of small fries you get in Wendy’s. High price, bad food and the nan was also not decent(2.49 for the garlic nan). They seemed to have put some garlic and skimped on it as well. I have had some really good garlic nans and this does not even come close. They used to put out some decent product and I may check back in a year but until then adiós.

Indian Grocery Store with fast food offered as well. I love the menu here, the spicy food is authentic and tasty. I don’t think you’re going to Spice Rack for the service, so I won’t get too much into the fact that sometimes the staff can be a bit non-responsive… it’s not enough to keep me from coming back. Once again I’ll say, the food is great, I love spicy food and they hit it on the nose.
