Quality Tailor

I needed to get 4 pairs of jeans altered since I have short legs. The lady made me try on every one and took measurements on all of them. She suggested a couple that needed original hem and a couple that needed a simple hem. The jeans came out perfect! I would give five stars bit it did take a week and a little pricey. I guess you pay for quality work. I will definitely come back here to get my clothes tailored.

Neither of the previous reviews are topically related to my complaint. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB, which is extreme and odd for me. I am never one to show distant toward another due to simple cause, but this incident has absolutely crossed the line of what is morally right. I have had jeans and tops altered by this lady before, when I had paid and taken my belongings home the first time I was dissatisfied. The jeans were still too long, and the top too big. I had taken them back with the hope that this business woman would alter my belongings, for the second time, free of charge. Considering I had already paid once for her services and I was asking that she fulfill what I had required and paid for the first time around. This was in June of 2013, I arrived late yesterday afternoon (October 19) to collect what I had left there four months ago. The owner staggered around her small cubby holes right behind the counter and came to the desk empty handed. I began to give a description of the designer Jose jean I had left and the nice black blouse she was to be hemming. She started by saying ‘I called you every day for weeks’, which is partially true, she did call me (from a blocked number) multiple times within a matter of weeks. What she did not do was express that she had a deadline that must be met or she was going to GIVE MY CLOTHES AWAY. She showed me the receipt of mine and other customers who had not come to get their clothes in a timely fashion and she also had given their belongings away.
I am not one for confrontation. I couldn’t being to express how blazing angry I was with her. I just looked at her face and said «those were $ 200 jeans!» and her response blew me away, she smirked, repeated what I said, and laughed at me. She did not apologized for the fact that she just gave away $ 270 worth of my belongings, but apologized for the fact that I did not know sooner. I also picked up clothes from my tailor in Addison yesterday, which I also had delivered to his department the same day in June that I left my belongings in her care.
I would absolutely not recommend anyone living in the shops to leave your belongings in her care. I do recommend BJ’S TAILOR off Trinity Mills In Addison for anyone who needs alterations. He is absolutely impeccable.

I have been getting my alterations done here for years now, and I cannot believe that some people would leave a negative review.
The reason why this place is so good is that her skill is so much more refined than that of your average. She has altered pieces For me that are designer apparel, for fairly complex alterations, and she has done a stellar job every time and the result is seamless. The clothes afterwards just look like they were made for me. Simple as that.
This lady knows her tailoring. If you have something valuable and well made, or need some serious alterations, this is the place to go.

I came in on a Saturday with a pair of dark wash Joes jeans that several small, noticeable holes in them (watch what you lean against in an unfinished elevator…). I was sure they would be impossible to patch, but gave it a shot before tossing the jeans. Natasha the tailor was very helpful and assured me she could patch them without anything showing. She was able to not only patch my jeans back to perfection (I still can’t believe it) but also manage to complete the job within the hour at a very reasonable price! I’ll definitely be back again.
