St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store of Plano

Very clean (including the public restroom), well organized (especially the books), friendly staff, wide open aisles, speciality jewelry kiosk, various furniture selections. Clothing was really overpriced and furniture was a little overpriced. Sofas and chairs especially, the prices for coffee tables was actually decent. Jewelry was okay, but organized by price so you don’t have to squint for prices. Plushes are 2.49 each no matter how small or big. The toy section was basically nonexistent. The best deals are the home décor, kitchen supplies, linens and bedding, board games, and craft supplies.

Stopped by here today, my first time. The prices on clothing and jewelry were outrageous (for used, out of date things) so it will be my last time I go.

Pretty decent place. Very clean and super nice staff. Got several awesome books. They were having a good sale too.

I love thrift stores. It is a lot like treasure hunting. I found some great deals at this store and my timing was perfect. I went on their once a month 40% off all clothing day. They do have deeply discounted new items and some really classy used things. They do have some less than wonderful used items. This is in the upper tier of Plano thrift stores.
The cashier was a very pretty young lady who was very patient & helpful. She helped me with finding things and making certain I got every discount to which I was entitled.
I left with 11 items that totaled $ 17.02. Included were 4 pairs of really nice cold weather gloves. This store is very clean & organized. Yesterday I bought a really cool double breasted suit to go with my new Bogart hat. I would give my right arm for some nice shoes and spats. I also need a very wide handpainted necktie.
Just so you know, they are having a «30% off the entire store day» on Dec., 26. I am planning on going. I hope I see you there.
I started off giving 4 stars to this store and upon reflection decided to make it 5. I had a lot of fun, the people were great and I got great deals. What more can you ask?

I was excited to see this place open but was disappointed when I visited. It’s a large store full of decent stuff but there weren’t much «thrift» stuff. Most of the stuff were new-​discounted items.
