Super Target

I decided to stop at a Target where I wasnt familiar with since it was on my way to where i was going and i wanted to run in real quick to look at what kind of stocking stuffers they had. I was pretty disappointed this year. Last year I remember them having a lot of options and great gifts! This year however, it was hard for me to even find where the Christmas Section was even at. I circled and circled until i finally just asked someone and they told me it was literally all the way in the back in the far corner and tucked away. Once I finally found it, I discovered that there really wasnt much to chose from. I settled on some dollar candy cane filled with candy and chocolate and it ended up working just fine. I’m still giving Target 4 stars because I still love them even though their Christmas Display was depressing.

We went to this Target Portrait Studio to take family photos before the holidays, but we’re not well taken care off because we used a Groupon deal.
The manager, who is the main photographer, had her inexperienced assistant take the pictures and it shows.
Many of the pictures were crooked, some with not enough or too much head room. They did not check if everyone in the photos was facing/​looking at the camera and took one photo per pose and rushed us through the session.
I wish they had used a more experienced photographer and taken a few photos in each pose so we could select the best ones.
I would not recommend going to this studio to get your family pictures taken.

I’ve lived near here for a little less than a decade and can easily say the number 1 reason I go to the Walmart across the street is due to lines, by far. Not just 1 person long but like 4 – 6 people deep. I’d say 80% of the time. It blows my mind how often this is.
I know everyone and their mom loves target but it’s the piss poor management of registers that makes target a fraction of the revenues of Walmart.

I love shopping at this target so much I pass 2 other targets to get here.
You have the worlds best employee! Keely is so sweet! We try to go through her line at every check out. She is always so friendly and remembers us every time!

Target… It’s a super duper Target. It’s clean, Texas friendly and everything is where it’s suppose to be. From one store to another.

Best Target I’ve been to.
People are nice, friendly and will go through great depths to help you. The merchandise is always stocked and ready. The store is very organized and clean. I normally shop at Wal-​Mart, but since target is closer I just come to this one. The Atmosphere is good here and the people who give you samples are very kind. The Optometrist here is very nice and thorough with her exams. As well as their optical sells the best brands for a somewhat reasonable price.
Overall great location, and has everything you need.

Thing I love about walking into Target is how much more quiet and relaxing it is than Walmart. Great atmosphere and an impressive selection of clothes, accessories, electronics, and household items. I’ve never been impressed with their produce though.

I am rating this Target location based off of my visit yesterday. I arrived at this location yesterday looking for hair care products for multi-​ethnic hair. The brand that I use is sold at Target and ethnic hair stores. Living in Plano, there are not many locations that are geared toward multi ethnic products. So, unfortunately this location had a tiny area for ethnic hair and only carried two product lines for multi ethnic hair (Shea Moisture and Mixed Chicks). This location I would say to avoid if you are looking for a hair product geared toward multi ethnic hair as for some reason this location has chosen to ignore a specific clientele.

1. The women’s bathroom was disgusting. Every stall had pee on the floor, there was paper all over the place, and everything was dirty.
2. One express and one regular lane open at 7:00 on Monday night.
3. Checkers in lanes with lights off were letting one after another checkout as I stood in the one lane with the light on.
4.Tim, the checker was the slowest checker I’ve ever seen & snapped at the lady behind me.
I just moved to Plano & will be cutting up my Red Card.

I go here almost weekly and have never waited more than 5 – 10 min in line, even at the busiest hours. The employees are knowledgable and friendly. There are a couple cashiers that are quite slow, so you’ve got to watch out for those. Overall, the store has great inventory. It’s a one stop shop. I can get everything I need in one place w/​out stooping to the Walmart level.

DON’T GET A RED DEBIT CARD.
I like target. Its one of my favorite stores, but the red card is a scam. Its marketed as a no fee debit card that comes right out of your account. What you assume with a debit card is that they check your balance then they authorize the transaction. Nope. Every transaction is a check. It clears several days later. If it doesn’t, you will be charged $ 30 a transaction and they could report you to the check systems. The banks can’t do this anymore without your permission on debit cards. Target can because they are not a bank. Yes it did happen to me, except the reporting part. Three red card transactions all less than 3 $ they charged me $ 90. Oh but they ran the transaction again and they cleared, so I didn’t owe the 5 $ just the 90 $ fee. Shoo target just stay away from the red card.

I do not shop at Target often but will stop here first before going to my most hated store Wal-​mart.
My trips here are very specific. I purchase Organic Sweet Leaf Green tea when I want to treat myself (it’s only $ 1.99 for 64oz and anyone who drinks this knows that this is super cheap). I also stock up on green cleaning supplies or anytime I am looking for a trendy home decorating item. At times I also shop for clothing or accessories.
The accessories more often than clothing which I find kind of pricey for this type of retail store unless you hit the clearance rack where you can find good deals.

I always come out of here with more than I intended to spend. The best part is discovering clearance items on end caps randomly throughout the store. I once got over 15 bottles of Perrier for $.10 each! I’ve also started going here for my basic organic foods that I would normally get at Whole Foods. It’s way cheaper.

This is a wonderful Super Target to go grocery shopping in, but sometimes it’s a pain to check out in. Very few cashiers opened, and are usually designated to a certain side of the bulding.

WOW! This Super Target is massive! They also tended to have more unique/​cute items in the housewares section than other targets. It was clean and there was a lot of staff throughout the store, which is nice because I might have needed help (but I didn’t because I was happy leisurely browsing). Too bad I don’t live near Plano anymore, or I would come more often.

This was my go-​to spot for groceries when I lived in Dallas. Clean, organized, not ridiculously crowded & loud. I got use to the layout and always knew where to go as soon as I walked in the store. People ask me why I shop at Target for groceries cuz it’s expensive, but I rather pay a little more (not Whole Foods more) to shop in peace. And sometimes, if you shop on the right day — their sale prices are better than Walmart’s. I miss Super Target.

Selection and service is always good but this review is just on the café inside. They don’t have nachos anymore! The lady said they got rid of them about 6 mths ago. They offer pretzels but also had a different cheese which doesn’t taste as good. PLUS they don’t have a lot of the prices listed on the menu board. I ended up getting a jamba juice smoothie and it was more icy/​slushy than smoothie. Very disappointed here.

My last resort SuperTarget. This store has horrible customer service. On more than one occasion I have had to walk an associate back where the sale is advertised. They normally aren’t willing to go because the registers are always really backed up. They have 24 lanes but I have never seen more than 5 being used.
I do like Target overall but always discourage friends from registering here or at Dillard’s because of their register returns.
You have to stay on top of this particular store. I always take a picture of the advertised sale with my phone and show it at the register. Even still, I have had to walk the associate or manager to show them their display.
If you don’t catch the wrong price prior to checkout, then you have to go stand in a long customer service line to have the transaction credited.
Most stores at least have a runner or someone to verify a price versus either canceling your transaction or accepting what you know is an incorrect price.
It’s well located on the tollway and does have a Starbucks inside.
If they cared as much about pricing accuracy as they do about pushing the credit card this would be an easier place to shop.

Saturday morning couponing is the best! Total was ~$ 12, saved $ 10, total = ~$ 2.
Very clean store with friendly employees… was greeted by 2 or 3. If I’m ever back on this side of town, I’d be happy to shop at this Super Target again!
«Super» refers to ambiance AND size of store… it is HUGE! GET your work out shoes/​outfit on and get ready for a trek. It’s worth it!

We’ve came here every week lately. This target is by far the best one in the West Plano /​North Dallas Area.
I used to work at a Target in highschool. So i get a bit geeky when i walk in one. I start pointing out flaws and asinine stuff.
Anyways, I really liked what they’ve done with the remodel thus prompting a much necessary review. The fitting room is a bit crappy though.
Oh don’t buy the vegetables and produce here it’s way overpriced and it’s not organic. You’re better off going somewhere else. Just don’t goto Walmart though.
