This is the wrong location on google maps so beware! Go to the ulta at Collin creek mall. Otherwise you’re driving around in circles

This review is for the store. I enjoy shopping here. They can be a little pricey but the products are good! Also, many times you go home with a bunch of free samples in cosmetic bags. Great store and glad I started going there. They send coupons as well, however many items are excluded.

I love that ulta carries a wide variety of both drug store brands cosmetics and hair products as well as professional brands. Unfortunately the employees don’t know very much about the professional products. I went in to look for a deva curl product which is usually in the same place. It had been moved so I asked an employee to help me locate it. She had no idea what the product was(even though it’s a fairly popular line with lots of products). When we finally did find the row it was on(and only because I had to describe the packaging in detail) I still had to find the product myself. I wanted to find a cheaper alternative to one of the products, but why bother asking her when she clearly isn’t very knowledgeable. I’m glad that I’m a cosmetologist and know at least a little bit about several product lines because the employees here are rarely helpful(if you can even find one).

Another place I can drop a lot of cash pretty quickly, and another place my husband begrudgingly walks into. They sell pretty much everything beauty related. From cheap drug store cosmetics like Cover Girl, to mid level department stores brands like Urban Decay and Benefit. They don’t carry any really high end or luxury cosmetic brands, but I’m not really into to spending that much on make up anyhow. They have a salon where you can get a cut and color. They also carry good quality flat irons, curling irons, and hair dryers. They have drug store and salon brand shampoos and conditioners, but only drugstore boxed hair color. They have a small selection of bath items. Pretty good selection of skincare products and some harder to find brands like RoC and Alpha Hydrox. They have a good selection of mens and womens fragrances and have everything on display so you can test it. Service is definitely lacking, so its best to know what you are doing when you go in.

Horrible customer service with their salon. I had an appointment for 7pm. I arrived a few minutes before my appt time and no one was at the service counter in the salon. It took 8 minutes for me to be able to find anyone to help me. The stylist I had the appointment with was told I was there for my appointment. I could see that the stylist was just beginning to cut someone else’s hair. As it turned out, I was waiting for 35 minutes and the stylist I had the appt with still wasn’t finished with the client she was with. The entire time I was there, she never once came to me to apologize for the delay or to communicate with me. After waiting for 45 minutes and seeing she still wasn’t finished with her client, I decided to leave. I won’t be going back. For the prices they charge one would think they would have better people skills.

Worst customer service ever! I went in here looking for the Stilla Trio Smudgepot that they advertised. I was really excited, but they did not have any on the shelves. I looked around for a good five minutes trying to find somebody to help me. The only person I saw was doing somebody’s makeup at the Bare Escentuals Counter. FINALLY, I found somebody else. I POLITELY said, «excuse me,» and she RUDELY quipped back, «I’m doing three things right now, you’re going to have to wait.» So, I put down my two Essie nail polishes and headed out the door. I refuse to buy something after being treated like that… and they weren’t even busy so it’s not like the dumb girl was being overworked.
