I have mixed emotions about breakfast this a.m. Lots of food! My crepes had great flavor and presentation however, my crepes was a little overcooked, and arrived Lukewarm(pet peeve of mine). I had to leave my table to get a coffee refill as the wait staff were busy on their phones, which may have contributed to my lukewarm meal… The crêpe was stuffed with what tasted like a banana and lime purée and topped with au dente apples with sides of jam, whipped cream, butter, etc. Great flavor, presentation… but the lukewarm temp left me feeling the same way… with that corrected, and not overcooked it would be a real contender! My son had the French toast. Once again… Lots of food, nice presentation, fresh fruit on top. his opinion was the bread had more of a «cake» texture than he cared for, and the tepid temp left him feeling«cool» towards his meal as well. Other members of our party had eggs Benedict which were well presented, good hollandaise sauce, large portion, tepid temp. Overall I would rate the food pretty good… good enough to try again… the help… maybe caught them flat footed, hung over, or just behind on their social media posting, but tepid food Temps are inexcusable in my book.

Vickery has the best staff and great food at reasonable prices. The food is fresh, not heat and serve. Gabby, Meagan, Josh, & Marissa all make sure you feel at home and have a great experience. You can not go wrong if you want great food and a relaxing fun experience. Try it at least once. You will want to go back.

Wish I could rate zero stars. If you want to be ignored… After 15 minutes of waiting for acknowledgement and service, we gave up and went across the street to the Fillmore Pub. We were greeted and served within 3 minutes and the Fillmore was much busier.

Over promised, under delivered on their brunch. Brisket sandwich was overly soggy and lacking in flavor. I got the eggs Benedict and those were ok. Would not go back for brunch but might try their Monday pizza night.

Always good food and beer. The pizza is great. The burgers are great. Even the house salad is great. The best thing to get if its your first time is the brisket sandwich. You wont be disappointed.

Food is great here, every once in awhile it will be off. Service has been hit or miss, but the food usually makes up for it. Brisket sandwich, the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner and gouda mashed potatoes are my favorites from here.

The food we had was great. Nice setting in old downtown Plano. Good music and real people. I would definitely check this place out. If it’s not your style we probably wouldn’t be friends.

It’s kindod annoying that on a Thursday evening you have to have an ID just to come in and eat dinner. I do have one, but I don’t usually take my purse with me when my husband and I just run out to dinner… My fault for not having it but… What’s even more annoying is that I often come for brunch on a Sunday and drink– but have yet to ever be carded.

Met up with some family I havent seen in some time. My cousin is a local and recommended here and glad he did. The atmosphere is very comfortable, easily a place I could see myself meeting friends and spending multiple evenings at. It is very remiss of your traditional gastropub, however honestly with better prices. A huge variety of local IPA’s, drafts and your more commonplace brews topped with an exceptional menu. I ordered the crab cake appetizer which is served with a caper salad. The crab cakes were tasty, if anything a tad too much dill and the salad was spot on. For entrée I ordered the brisket sandwich which was absolutely delicious. This came with a side of fries and Kaluha crème dipping sauce, odd, but tasty. I tried samplings of what others ordered and again, nothing negative to be said. Solid place, great spot to chill, would recommend.

If there is one thing I love about Plano, it is DTP. I tried to convince my friends to hit up Fillmore Pub because I was craving a burger, but we ended up at Vickery Park during happy hour. It was easy to find seats and were were promptly served. Our server was unable to answer many questions about the cuisine, but we still navigated the menu. My friends enjoyed their drinks($ 1 off during HH). They also ordered buffalo style calamari to be adventurous. Mistake! That is an unholy combination and left the calamari super mushy devoid of its essential crispiness. On the other hand, my Landmark burger was quite juicy and my green salad side was scrumptious. Definitely worth the price! The patty was cooked well with cheese melted nicely over and a tomato slice and onions on the side. The Christmas lights and tree made the whole scene a warm environment. No one gave us side-eye when we asked for a group picture. Overall a good experience at a classic local spot.

Man, I don’t know what it is about this place. The hubs and I have been here several times and there is no denying that it’s a cool lil place — great back area that’s perfect for groups. The vibe and energy level is just not for me. It’s fallen flat every time we’ve been in and compared to its competitors in this area, it’s not a place we stay at for very long. Service has always been great and menu is «ok» but… meh.

Had the chicken sandwich and the wife had the brisket sandwich. Easily one of the best we’ve ever had. The chicken tortilla soup was outstanding as were the fries and rings. A must repeat and HIGHLY recommend.

What a cool spot! Wife and I dropped in searching for a Bloody Mary and some brunch. Unilocal says they open at 10:30, and they will serve you a drink, but really they’re not up and running til about 11am. Service is awesome– super friendly bartenders and the food and drink turn around quick. Bloody Maries have a nice spice. You can get a single for $ 4 or a carafe for $ 12. They have a heavy pour with the olive juice but are quick to add lime juice or Worcester upon request. We ordered the onion rings as an app. Served with a Sriracha ketchup, they have a thick Guinness-based breading and are delicious. The wifey got the Eggs Benedict. Someone in the tips section below says their eggs looked like soft boiled eggs… Ours were definitely poached. I stole a bite and they were tasty although the hollandaise sauce was a little thicker than I typically like. I got the brisket sandwich. It comes with a Kahlua sauce which gives the salty brisket a sweet, coffee taste.

This bar is located in cute downtown Plano. It’s hard to find parking, so locate the parking garage. My favorite thing about Vickery Park is the ambiance. Dark, dank(kinda smelly actualy) OLD bar feeling. Long, narrow layout. Shuffleboard and two dart boards. TVs for sports and big, giant booths. Secondly, the food is really surprisingly good. House salad has walnuts and cranberries, delicious homemade chips with 3 different dips is my favorite appetizer. They have these really simple tacos for I think $ 3 that are actually tasty. The drinks are what you’d expect at a regular old bar. No «specialty-crafted» drinks or anything but a good beer list. I’ve always always had a blast here, I usually drag people to camp out at the shuffleboard/dart area so we can play. I love it! Definitely check it out if you’re in the Plano area.

The place is a bar/restaurant. They have seating up front by the bar and a section in the back as well. I got the Migas and they were tasty! The portion was huge and the hash browns it came with were the perfect mix of crunchy and soft. And obviously slathered in cheese. My friend got the Eggs Benedict and devoured it before I could even get a picture! He said it was amazing. We also got the crêpe with caramelized apples and pears which was SOSO good but WAY sweet for me. The service was friendly and quick. We will be returning!

Came for a quick lunch with a coworker since I work in the area. I love the place and today I decided to try the smoked club sandwich on multi-grain instead of the focaccia bread. O.M.G. this may be the best sandwich I have ever had. The smoked turkey and ham are so good and they use just a dab of yummy basil mayo. You know how some club sandwiches are dry and hurt your mouth to chew? Umm no, this is not one of those. The bread was soft and had the grains on top to make me feel good about my «healthy» choice :) I had the french fries and the french fries here are so good. I always tell myself oh, I’ll substitute a salad today, but nope, I always get the fries because they are perfect. I also like it here because they will make accommodations if we have a large group for lunch. Check out their back area with the games. I want to come for happy hour soon!

My friends really like this place, so we do go here frequently when going to downtown Plano, but I have generally been unimpressed. There beer and liquor choices are pretty good. Their tap list is a little confusing to me, couldn’t really tell what they were going for as they are missing a lot of ones I think should be staples for the area. We have ordered food a few times when we have been here. This last time we got the chips with dips. The chips were great, tasted fresh made. But they weren’t really the best chips for dipping. The dips were also weird. It was the strangest hummus and spinach and artichoke I have had. They were decent, but had strange flavor. They also weren’t in the best container for dipping. Other food in the past as been just decent as well. When we sat at the bar we got good service. However, we moved to a table in the back and got terrible service. It took a good 15 minutes to get our first order and it was long waits in between getting drinks. We also had to clean the table ourselves when we sat down.
